They ALWAYS short my time. They start late and then still stop at :50 min on the hour!! Don't ever get a 1.5 hour because it won't equate to the time you think you get... They only offer 75 minutes and then you may just get 70 out of your massage therapist.

I frequent the Massage Envy Midtown location but tried coming to Howell Mill one day when I couldn't get an appointment at Midtown. Just all around horrible customer service. I got to the appointment about 15 minutes early and the front desk associate literally laughed and made fun of me for that. Sorry for trying to get to my appointment on time!
My therapist was doing everything wrong. It's like nothing I said was making any difference. In terms of quality, this location lacks what other massage envy's have including it's appearance. I would suggest going to Midtown or Buckhead's Crossing. When your masseuse gets too drunk the night before and front desk administrator calls hours before to tell you that the masseuse won't be coming in! Unprofessional! Don't request Marcus!

I've wasted 4 massages at this location because the quality of my massage was absolutely horrendous. To make matters worse sometimes I do not get the full amount of time alotted. I have had a masseuse start 15 minutes late and then massage for 40 mins so that they can be on time for their next massage. The administrative often staff appear exhausted. My favorite masseuse was Alex. He hasn't been there is the past year and haven't had a masseuse half as good at the location.

I have gone to Spa Sydell forever but since they closed down locations it is too time consuming getting out to Perimeter mall. Art of Touch is Fabulous too, but parking can be frustrating. A friend gifted me a massage at ME and it was good. I decided to give Massage my business and signed up for a year! Has not been good, massages have been luke warm, when and If I can get one. Before water is offered rarely and after has never been offered. Pampered at Spa Sydell, soothed at Art of Touch and always feel so relaxed and good when I leave. ME leaves me pretty much the way I came still tight wishing for something else. Now I'm stuck in a years contract. Two weeks out and can't get a weekend! This sucks!

I wish it was possible to leave no stars. This location is my "home location". I had a massage with a guest at another location in Florida. I have literally 10 massages built up so I thought ok I'll use one of my massages for my guest. I get to checkout at 6:50pm and the location here says they just need to call the other location to get my massage credit transferred over. THIS LOCATION REFUSED TO TRANSFER MY CREDIT. Bridgette is their lazy employee who said it was 6:50 and she had already shut the drawer down so it was a no. If you aren't closed their is no reason you can't DO YOUR JOB. I have $600 in massages built up and had to pay an additional $60 today because of their lazy employee. I don't even want to do business with this franchise. Plenty of other places to get a massage. Avoid this one.

First time getting a massage at this location. It's conveniently located literally walking distance from my house - so I decided to try it out. The reviews weren't so good but I decided to try it out for myself. My appointment ran a little late but I wasn't in a rush luckily.

I've been going to Massage Envy locations since around 2008 when I started in Orlando. Moved to Atlanta, kept it going. I was super excited when this location opened since it was convenient to me.
I have been going to Angela and she is FANTASTIC. She always takes the time to discuss what I need and she tailors my massage to what's going on with me. She gives me pointers for how to keep my relaxation going.
The front desk staff is friendly and speedy and always check me in and greet me by name. I have had lovely experiences chatting with the staff before my wedding when I was stressed out and another time they even gave me a free aromatherapy when I was having an especially bad day. So I decided to get a massage before meeting-up with friends to celebrate my milestone 40th birthday. I made the appointment online the night before and arrived 30 minutes early. Catherine was very professional and kind. I waited in the waiting area after taking my assessment via a tablet. The waiting area was basic, yet tranquil with light sounds & a dark atmosphere that made it ideal to get you in the right mindset for a massage. That's until Kristina politely informed me that my massage therapists was running late "due to traffic." I've resided in Atlanta for over a decade so the "late due to traffic" is just not a legit excuse because we all know how traffic can be. I asked how long and when she returned to tell me 30 minutes, I canceled my appointment because I had other plans and I have a reputation among my friends, family and colleagues to arrive on-time. Kristina did offer other services, but I declined because I knew what I wanted to relax my body and mind. Also, Catherine and another staff member apologized on behalf of Massage Envy. She took my number and said the manager would contact me the next day after noon. Let's just say, I'm still awaiting that call. This was my first experience with Massage Envy and it left a terrible first impression. I typically go to boutique or upscale spa locations and I will continue to do just that because I receive guaranteed superb on-time service. Convenience for a last-minute spa (1-day advance notice) is not worth it. You can't give me back the time I lost waiting for a massage that I never received. In fairness, I understand things happen, but when the manager doesn't call to apologize that speaks volumes about your business and its leadership.

I have a deep appreciation for folks in industries that truly help others. Jill was an absolutely amazing massage therapist, and helped work through chronic back pain I live with. I feel so much better after our session, and hope to come back. I told her my problem areas, she worked through them in a 60 minute session, and even offered a few stretches and pain relief quick suggestions via lacrosse balls and other suggestions. Keep doing what you do.
