Our last trip to Mary Eddy's was about five years ago. The fact that we finally returned tells you everything about that first visit.
The facility is fantastic and is connected to a very special hotel that would be a perfect place for a downtown staycation. The music was played at a reasonable level and didn't interfere with our dinner conversation. Valet service is free for guests dining at the restaurant so don't let the concerns about parking keep you away. Of course this could change in the future so I'd suggest calling the restaurant.
For the starter we chose the Bread Service. I've seen a few restaurants charging for bread and I'm not a fan of this practice. I will say that this appetizer is more than just bread and is delivered with a wonderful compound butter. It's nice to have a change from oil and balsamic vinegar. I can certainly recommend this as it's a sampling of different toasted breads. I didn't manage to take a picture.
For the mains one guest chose the Old Style Coq Au Vin. The server said it was a generous serving and she was right. That warning is why my husband chose another dish. Our friend must've been hungry because he was able to clean his plate. I was given a bite and it's a a great choice, just be aware that it's wine forward.
Another diner picked the Lobster Bucatini, one of the dishes listed under the "Handmade Pasta" heading. The serving isn't as large as the first entree but is rich and delicious. It had a liberal amount of lobster, enough that I was given a taste. The lobster was well seasoned and cooked to perfection.
Two of us ordered the Local Nichiyobi Ranch Burger. As you can see from the pictures, it comes with a mountain of fries. I was trying to be good by skipping the bun but the fries were too good and became my downfall. My husband ordered it as made. We both found it delicious and well cooked.
I'm looking forward to a return visit to try one of the other delicious dishes. Time was short so we were unable to try one of the desserts.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 4, 2023
Had a great time here! Went to a friend's birthday dinner in the private room, and it was just a beautiful place for a dinner party. I think that table seats about 16, and we probably had 14 or so there - big square table, good to help everyone see one another and enable pretty much anyone to have a conversation with anyone else in the room. The service was a little slow, probably because it was a weekend night and we were a large group, but we had plenty of very well-made cocktails and good conversation so I didn't mind much.
The food was all great - we had the crudo, which was wonderful, very refreshing and light and zippy. The porchetta we ordered on a friend's recommendation, and it was delightfully tender and delicious.
We loved the space and the food, usually we go here for brunch so it was nice to try for dinner!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Nov 25, 2023
Really cool historic restaurant in the 21c museum hotel.
Had the steak tartare and Kimchee fried chicken
The tartare might be the best I ever had with a spicy peppercorn aioli.
The Kimchee fried chicken was crispy and tasty.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Quentin S.Tishomingo, OK02026Apr 9, 2024
This building has had many purposes through the years. I am so glad that the Fordson kept Mary Eddie's. A gem for sure. I am not a whisky fan but what you are seeing is a salty, chocolaty martini.

My partner and I went here for Valentine's Day and were very disappointed. His steak came out burnt with a bitter after taste and I waited 30 minutes on my chicken to recooked after being cold and undercooked the first time only for the refire to be the same. Management did offer us a free dessert which ended up being the best thing we had all night. Our server was attentive and the cocktails were great. I'd come back for drinks again but I'd be hesitant on another dinner experience.

Slowww service got very frustrated and left. They need to hire more people to work here. It a big ass restaurant and not enough staff on the floor taking care of costumer. Sad the food look good it was so annoying that I had to leave. The restaurant is very dark and sexy. I would say great spot for date if you like slow service.

First we were seated and told 3 options were sold out. Went to order and yet another option was sold out. 4 unavailable menu options in a very quiet, not busy restaurant is questionable. Can't mess up wine so that was good. Chips over powered the spinach and artichoke dip, don't bother. Steaks and lamb was so charred could not eat. These items were comped as we didn't even eat more than a single bite. I like charred Brussels but having so many over cooked plates, they did not taste good either. Bread and butter service was minimal for how cheap we all know this service actually costs. Disappointing for our first trip to okc and last night in town. Won't be back to this establishment.

Fantastic! Welcoming staff, great space and incredible food. Cocktails were a unique twist on classics, beet salad was fresh and tasty but pastas stole the show. Rigatoni Bolognaise was extremely flavorful with a subtle spicy heat, and lobster bucatini was light fresh and had a ton of mouth watering lobster. My wife said "one of the best meals of her life". We will be going back...

Went for a birthday dinner with a group of seven. It was 7 degrees out so the valet service was much needed. Ambiance is nice but very dark and moody vibes. Definitely had to use our phones to read the menu. We were seated quickly and our server was prompt and courteous throughout. The drinks were good. My food and a friends food were just ok but everyone who got the crispy chicken loved it.
We got various apps and they're rated below.
Service: 9/10
Drinks: 9/10
Food: 6/10. I split the lamp chops with my friend. She asked that they be cooked medium rare and they were medium and not hot. My macaroni and cheese looked amazing but was too salty. The smash potatoes looked good but had almost no flavor. The crispy Brussels were delicious!
French onion dip: 10/10 the entire table loved it.
Deviled eggs: 5/10 the bacon jam was good but without it the eggs lacked flavor
Bread service: 9/10Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
