Always always service with a smile here. Family owned and operated- the food is made lovingly to order- and all of its delicious!! One of the best pizzas in the area!! Delivery is available- that can sometimes be a little slow. But easy on street parking makes pick up a breeze, as well as dine in being an option too! Highchairs available for little ones, comfortable booths and overall welcoming cozy vibe. Wheelchair accessible entrance.

Excellent pizza. The oriental well done is magnificent! If you're visiting this area or live around the area, forget lagonias and la bella's... literally any other falsely claimed Italian restaurant does NOT compare. This is the best pie in the whole area. Yum!

Another swell pizza from Marks. I've been getting the best local pizzas here for almost thirty years. My favourite is kind of a comfort food, garlic twist and bacon-broccolli pizza. Next time I'll request extra broccolli. I'll bet they don't get that request often. Thanks Sue !

I haven't even eaten here yet but I already give it five stars. i'd honestly give it 10 stars if that was possible. We were driving from New York through to Montreal and needed a place to get food. Randomly found this pizza place with wings and actually happen to have everything gluten-free.
Everyone working here is insanely nice and accommodating. I'm writing the review as I sit here waiting for my food. Will update shortly!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mindy A.Palm Springs, CA011Aug 16, 2017
Driving from Boston to Buffalo, famished and road weary, we yelped for pizza and found this place in Valatie. Super adorable and quaint, family owned and operated establishment on Main Street. We ordered house salads, margarita pizza and jalapeno poppers. Salads were fresh and big. Pizza was delish. Crust is chewy and seasoned and sauce is rich and sweet. Poppers were so so. Awesome friendly service!

Called for a delivery (I've NEVER ordered from Mark's to pick up the food - why would I, if they deliver??) but the older woman taking the order never asked me for an address. I thought that was odd, but I figured with all the modern technology they might just have my address on file under the name that I gave or my phone number.
They stated about 25 minutes. An hour later I called to ask where my food was and and she said "Delivery? No, you said 'pick up'. No. No I did not.
Being a little pissed off at this point, I just said "f*ck it, I'll come and get it."
When I got there, instead of an apology, I got more arguing from the woman taking the phone orders, claiming again that I said it was for pick up.
Here's the thing....when you're running a business - the best thing to do is APOLOGIZE when you've made a mistake -- Accusing the customer of lying might just result in that customer never calling you again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Yoon C.Kinderhook, NY771128Sep 29, 2011First to Review
This is the place I go to now for good pizza in the area.
The specialty pizzas are particularly good. My favorite is the 'garbage' pizza, which has just about every topping.
The crust is tasty, though it may not be to everyone's liking. It's chewy and just a bit sweet, and tends to be a bit thicker. If you like a thin, crispy crust, this is not it.
Their signature touch is the sprinkled garlic powder on the edge of the crust. You can also opt for stuffed crust, which most non-chain pizzerias don't do.
The only criticism I have is that the crust can get soggy. Perhaps the sauce is a bit watery and too much is put on or the veggie toppings are releasing too much water, but most of time, the cheese and toppings can just separate and fall off of the crust. Not good.
There are tables inside where you can sit down and enjoy the pizza. Go grab a 2-liter and some self-service plates and utensils and the pizza will be brought out to you. Definitely a good way to do some casual dining outside without paying for a full service restaurant.
Overall, with the choices in the area, Mark's is the best of the bunch in my book.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Meghan B.Valatie, NY37345Oct 2, 2015
We LOVE Marks pizza! We order here almost once a week! Great family owned establishment! They remember me every time I call. Best prices in town for pizza! Great garlic knots too! I just wish the town would give them a parking space or two for pick ups. It can be a pain on weekends to find a parking space for take out.

This is THE best place for Family night pizza night! Not only is the pizza the best, but the owners are superb and the game of Trivial Pursuit you can play while awaiting your pizza is so much fun!
