Margs is a unique Denver bar & restaurant, where a casual patio bar meets modern and upscale global cuisine. In keeping with our philosophy of simplicity, Margs Taco Bistro offers basically everything found in our name - a bevy of tasty Margaritas, an assortment of international tacos and a casually modern bistro with a bar. Our garage door patio bar creates a breezy, relaxed atmosphere and is lined with fresh mint and basil for our infusions, signature Margaritas and specialty cocktails. The ambiance at Margs is unlike anywhere else, with intriguing lighting, modern art and a great contemporary feel. Sit down at one of our comfortable seating areas to enjoy your meal, or gather with drinks around one of our stand-up tables. We're known for our fun and unique fusion tacos, with options such as Caprese, Banh Mi, Caribbean Jerk and Chicken Vindaloo. Our fresh tortillas are hand-pressed in house, and we use only the best quality ingredients available. Join us for brunch every Sat & Sun!

I walked by Marg 's on August 29. Clearly it was "very" closed and has been closed for awhile. The bar shelves were devoid of liquor bottles. All the outside furniture had been brought into the restaurant area and stacked. There were no closed… more

Margs has been on the ol' 'To-try list' for several years. I mean this literally. Did you know that you can add bookmarks and make lists on Yelp? It's handy. Check it out.
I'm always interested in unique taco creations, so I had high hopes for Marg's. What I experienced at Marg's was not what I had hoped it might be. From the time that I walked in (the restaurant was uncomfortably warm), sat down (the water I was given was literally warm - not just 'not cold'), and was greeted by the server (who was adequately attentive but seemed disinterested), things just weren't working. The restaurant was packed (making it a little loud for my taste, but so it goes...). Service wasn't fast, but it wasn't painfully slow either. A slight delay just allows more time for good conversation around the table. The tacos were pretty good (the Korean taco was the best- excellent even, while the banh mi did not meet up to the expectations I had in my mind). Serving size is reasonable, but both food and drink prices seem a bit high for what the diner actually receives. This is probably due to the inevitable hipster mark-up of a couple bucks. I'm glad to have tried Margs, but probably won't be returning.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 27, 2022
I'm surprised at the mixed reviews of this place because we had a Margs-nificent time! Our server was super duper kind and attentive, which made the experience a good start.
I didn't order a margarita for myself, but I tasted the one my fiance got which was SO tasty. I'm definitely going to grab myself one next time! As you'd expect, their margarita selection is sky high and I'm sure they're all equally yummy.
We got chips and salsa for our appetizer, and it came out so fancy! You get to choose 3 types of salsas, and it was fun exploring them.
For my entree, I was going to go for the enchilada or burrito, but after skimming over the tacos, I was automatically enthralled by all the different types they had! I ended up getting the philly steak, street taco, and the birrira taco I believe. I vacuumed the philly steak one just because it was the first one I could get my hands on. Pretty good! The street taco was super refreshing - like a better version of the del taco tacos. The birrira taco was probably my least favorite, but nevertheless still tasty!
Overall a great dining adventure and will definitely come back!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - 81146282Aug 18, 2021
This is such a cute spot located in Cherry Creek!
They have indoor seating and outdoor patio seating. Plus, the outdoor seating has misters!! Which I feel should be a summer requirement for all patio seating.
Haven't been here for food yet, but the cocktails are delish.
I have to knock a star off for the flies!!!!!! Agh!!! I asked for a fly swatter, but they informed me they didn't have one. Please, I beg of you, invest in a fly swatter so bugs aren't swarming cocktails while people try to drown their sorrows in day drinking.
That is all.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 31, 2021
Really innovative and tasty tacos, and fantastic margs! Margs were super fun - tried the jalapeno-pomegranate and habanero-strawberry margaritas. They were both super flavorful although I preferred the more subtle spice of the habanero over the jalapeno infused tequila. Stuffed pepper was really great, as we're the three fun tacos I had. Definitely will need to come back again - perhaps for happy hour (M-F 4-6pm)!

It was my first time at this establishment and it was excellent. Parking during the week may be tricky to find at the paid meters. The ambiance is nice on the patio and inside. We ordered a Taco Barco, our choice of 8 tacos. This also included a large portion of rice and beans. All of the tacos were absolutely delicious and tasted fresh. Our service from Nick was wonderful. We will be back for more in the future. Our meal with a tip came out to 50 dollars. Twenty Five per person was well worth the wonderful experience. Thanks for everything Margs Taco Bistro. We ordered the flour tortillas per recommendation from our server and they were scrumptious.

Great concept. Lots of different tequilas along with interesting tacos. Put it in Cherry Creek North and you have a happening place.
What is exceptional is a large front patio with a good number of tables and chairs. Overall, the food is fine but not exceptional. The service could be improved but isn't bad. Finally, lots of choices and prices for many brands of tequilas. Definitely, worth a try. Stay away from the cheaper tequilas - - you can really taste the difference by moving up a couple bucks.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Rachel C.Washington, DC3086211026Jan 18, 2021
Do you want a margarita and solid outdoor dining seating? Come here.
Do you want chips and guac or chips and salsa? Come here.
Do you want to eat a meal with one or both of the above? Go elsewhere.
I had a sub-standard ahi tuna salad here (which our waitress kindly comped). The tuna was still partially frozen, and the dressing was not to my liking, so I was basically trying to pick through it to find pieces of lettuce without dressing or tuna. My friends had tacos that they reported were "fine."
The bar seating with heaters above them or outdoor tables with heaters were all appropriately spaced and warm on a cold-ish day. Our waitress was amazing. The margs were good. I'd definitely come back for drinks and appetizers, but would skip the meal.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Karen K.Denver, CO191Jun 4, 2022
Why make the guac so hot? Service was just ok. Actual tacos and ingredients were great.
However, anything with guac on it was dang near inedible. Way too spicy for an 'average' or even an acclimatized taste.
You literally ruin your food before it hits the customers plate? Guac is a condiment, not a driver. Please let the customers decide if they want to 'spice' it up.
Could have been just an "off' night for the cooks, but we have no desire to return. Party of 6 Dec, 2021.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Brian J.Porto, Portugal71155329Dec 23, 2021
The server was very pleasant. However she forgot half of our order.
The food taste like it was made bu a white person who doesn't know what mexican food is supposed to taste like. The rice was worse than grocery store rice from Uncle Ben's.
We won't be back. The food was not hot and took far too long to come out. The restaurant was empty.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 11, 2018
I like the street side cafe and seating outside on the bar ordered the "special" a breakfast burrito, and a Modelo draft right after 1100 opening.
I didn't ask how "special" the burrito was until the check arrived: $9.00!?!? WHAT THE FUDGE!!! Even if it was a great burrito, which it certainly wasn't, this would be the most expensive burrito I've ever eaten!!!
The bartender was great, she agreed and shaved off $1.00. Still expensive. Then my dog wanted something so I ordered a beef taco. $4.00 for what looked like 2 oz ground beef, a little cheese, and a tortilla! The dog did not complain
The venue and bartender earned the stars todayHelpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
