I want to bring kids here from my Arabic class at my public high school for lunch. What's a reasonable amount for how much they should bring/money I should raise to feed each kid?
A:
Hi Mohammad, I recommend you email contact@manousheh.com, and let us know when you plan to bring them and how many people. We may be able to help you with a deal, but… more

I had kofte and Arabic coffee. The Arabic coffee is identical to Greek coffee...you have all of the sediments of the coffee at the bottom of the cup. Personally not a fan, but had no idea. I thought Arabic coffee was like the Saudi coffee; the one with the cardamon, light colored, smooth taste. It is my ignorance. Will order the typical American brew next time...because there is a next time.
The food is in fact great. It hits the spot. It is not overly stuffing that you must take a nap afterwards, but it is satisfying enough to let you carry on for the rest of the day without snacks.
Love their breakfast menu. You get free coffee until 11 am with each order.
The kofta was amazing. Scrumptious blend of spices all tightly packed in a fluffy pita bread. And it smelled amazing too.
Will return and update the review accordingly. This was my first time.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 15037Mar 31, 2024
Small bustling location on Bleecker. A real oven (wood fired? Dunno) with flames leaping up behind the counter. Excellent service. Apparently a real Lebanese menu (as someone else who was middle eastern was remarking). Sadly, I did not like the manousheh falafel where the falafel is spread out on the bread like another layer. Maybe I needed to amp it up with hummus? Or something?
It's not you, it's me, Manousheh. I just don't know how to appreciate the traditional flavors yet. So I offer you my four stars and will visit again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 3, 2024
Manousheh came up when I looked for options after seeing a movie at the IFC nearby. It's perfect if you are looking for something quick and tasty. Most of the offerings are based around the Lebanese bread, manoushe. Their website said the flatbread is sold all around Beirut. It's thicker than a pita and thinner than most pizza crusts and a little more doughy like the later. For a savory option I got the Jibneh, or cheese. The serving is pretty large with the bread cooked just right and the cheese melted inside. I was glad I got the hummus to dip it. It was very tasty and filling. I did get the Nutella version from the Sweet side of the menu. It reminded me of the crepes in Paris. I only had half since I was already pretty full. When I go back, I'll get a bread and salad combo and maybe another spread.
The gentlemen working there were friendly and everything was ready in just a few minutes. This is a great option if you're in a hurry and need to eat on the go and it's kind of fun to try a favorite food of the Lebanese capital.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Feb 12, 2024
We came in here late on Sunday in search of a quick bite, and I'm so glad that we did! I've never had Manoush before, and its flatbread with a spread in the middle. SO good. I got the mahamara which is a spread made from roasted peppers. It was tangy and sweet and hit the spot! The staff was super friendly and answered my questions, even if they seemed obvious, which I appreciated. Recommend for a quick bite to stay or to go!

It's so fun to eat food with your hands, and although the triangle folded up isn't the most practical shape for that, it still works. The vegan spinach is the best! Order to go or squeeze around one of the tables here. The desserts are phenomenal. Watch the steps on the way out!

Having a Lebanese background, I was in search of good Manousheh in the city (which isn't easy to find unless you get of out Manhattan).
I ordered:
Spinach patty- 4/5. probably the only thing I would return for. Flavorful, and a good amount of spinach filling, but I still feel like I was skimped out of filling with the odd spinach to dough ratio.
Ground beef Manousheh- 2/5. barely any ground beef, and the bread was extremely thin. Too salty as well.
Zataar- 3/5. Good flavor, but once again, not enough filling.
Arabic coffee-5/5. excellent. Note: You get free coffee or tea with yelp check in.
Service was good only due to the lovely lady in the front. She was energetic and gave great recommendations(the spinach patty). The man working alongside her kept asking me questions unsure of my order when the lovely lady knew my order already. He wasn't very friendly.
There's some outdoor/ indoor seating. This is a casual place to pick up a quick Manousheh. I would only return for the spinach pie or the Arabic coffee. Would not recommend the other items I ordered.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 8, 2023
I recently ordered takeout from this place for the first time and was pleasantly surprised! We shared the ground beef flatbread, falafel, and kafta. Everything was yummy and flavorful. The pickles were a nice addition to the wraps. It was a very satisfying meal for a great price. Pick up was easy and prompt. They have some indoor and outdoor seating. I would definitely order from here again!

I was looking for a late-night snack after a concert in NYC, and found myself walking into Manousheh, which satisfied my quest perfectly. I ordered a sampling of Lebanese munchies, all of which were warm and deliciously spiced. I hope to try more of their menu someday!

Definitely this location is the best! The guy running it is doing a phenomal job. The bread is hot, the cheese is perfectly melted. I didnt take a picture because the food needed to be eaten right away because it's coming out from the fire oven. Place is super small , some room to sit but the idea is it to eat and go!
Will definitely come backHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 15, 2023
Stumbled in here one day while trying to hideout from the rain, and I'm so glad I did! It's a cute small spot with a few window bar seats. The staff was so kind and accommodating I decided to order the Falafel Wrap with all the veggies, hummus, tahini, mint, and pepper sauce. First off I will say that this wrap was HUGE! Literally almost as big as my forearm. The taste was so fresh and flavorful. Everything blended together nicely and the mint was a delicious touch. I will definitely be back again!
