I can honestly say, this is now one of my favorite restaurants. The Jalapeño Margarita was so refreshing and delicious, it complimented my plate of ceviche perfectly!
The service was very pleasant and welcoming. I will definitely be returning.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Panders P.Bronx, NY12410Dec 1, 2022
My waiter didn't speak english and I didn't speak spanish... so that. Almost everything I ordered was not exactly what I wanted. The chicharonnes had no flavor. Really dry super fatty but the fat was dried out. For $25 appetizer definitely won't recommend. The tacos are really good. Sancocho soup was good glad they have it available. Hard to find. Probably would go back with someone who speaks spanish to see if the experience improves.

Just don't bother. San Jose has so many other Mexican places to choose from, why not eat somewhere good? The food was basic and not that appetizing. Margaritas were weak, disappointing and way too sweet. The only thing I kinda enjoyed were the fresh chips and salsa that came before the meal.
Service was really great though so that's why I'm giving 2/5 stars.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 1 - Hadil C.San Francisco, CA0205Oct 2, 2021
My favorite menu item of this restaurant was the water.
When you walk in you can tell that the place hasn't been cleaned. Not only that, the food was expensive and you can tell that they just microwave it. Honestly I'm surprised that this place hasn't shut down. Not worth it.
Lastly, this place says that is Colombian, it's not. They don't even know how to cook Colombian food.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - 52311782310Apr 20, 2020
This was a generous dish! Having been to Colombia before, I was excited to try some of the dishes I had. This came with rice, fries, plantain and steak with onions and tomatoes with beef . On top: a fried egg. The sauce itself was good and a bit salty. I liked it but saw so much oil in it! It was just soaked. The beef was also very very tough. This was a bit disappointing. The flavors were good but I think the beef could have been tenderized a bit more. The sauce also had too much oil and I had to dump some of that out (it soaked the fries). I would be curious to try the other dishes sometime. I love bandeja paisa so maybe I'll try that...

don't come here, the waiter charged my mom $50 for like 4 tacos and 1 soda and on the menu it clearly says each one is like $7

First time here and I thought it was okay.
Ordered chicken mole with rice and beans and flour tortillas.
The rice and beans were okay.
The mole was different from what I've had. Not sure what kind of mole it was, but it had a tomato after taste.
My friend ordered their crunchy tacos and they looked good.
I would go again to try other dishes.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dean A.San Diego, CA92712Feb 9, 2019
They have new chefs and REAL Colombian food here now! I had eaten here a couple of times before and it was good but nothing too special given the number of Mexican restaurants in the area. But since hiring new chefs who used to own a restaurant in Colombia this place is incredibly good. Make sure you get the Colombian menu when you get seated.
The empanadas are authentic with fresh fillings and perfectly crispy on the outside. The arroz con pollo is flavorful, fresh with moist rice and tender chicken. The signature Colombian dish in any restaurant is the Bandeja paisa. Here, it is easily up there with the best I've ever had. The chicharron is a whole experience on its own. Tender, juicy and crispy. The chorizo is fresh and the beans and plantains are spot-on.
I'm extremely glad I have this place another chance. We go back once a week now. Service is super fast and friendly.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Sarah S.Buena Vista, San Jose, CA04Nov 27, 2021
Came in to an empty building and it still took 20 mins to get a drink and the food is all being cooked in the microwave. You can hear it open and slam for every order. They are slower than molasses.
