Q:
Is there still a buffet?
A:
I didn't see one. It looked like you direct what you want and they build it or you choose chefs choice.

Food was pretty good. I had a wrap or chicken swarma and it was delicious. Staff was unfriendly and seemed to rather be anywhere but there, and was put off that anyone came in and disturbed their break. (I had a late lunch and came in about 2:00)

Situated in an upscale business and retail district, with the steady flow of customers from different sectors coming through their door that comes with it, I had high hopes for this diet friendly eatery. Unfortunately, this restaurant does not fit the luxurious surroundings.
The staff here were almost friendly, seemingly busy with their own personal business, sporting an AirPod in one ear and a blank stare at most of our questions. The service really only saw improvement when what I assume was the owner arrived and came to check on my table. An improvement in one aspect, but a greater concern in the grand scheme of things.
As for the food, the vibrant imagery of enticing locales would hint at an exotic and diverse range of flavors across the menu. Sadly, you get little more than the taste of fresh ingredients and whatever additional flavors may have been added on. Their chicken items in particular were notably more dry and lacking than the other meats. Their best dish was their beet hummus, a refreshingly new taste, but besides that, there was little else of note in the buffet.
With a spacious interior, pristine exterior and busy storefront providing strong potential for success, the service and food here really misses the mark. The price is appropriate for the area, but not for the food you're getting. For me, coming here really boils down to a matter of convenience.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Feb 16, 2020
SATURDAY 12:45 PM, peak lunch hour while every restaurant in that vicinity had people waiting , this place had only 2 tables occupied. We had a reservation for 3 people. I entered and stopped by the entrance as it said 'Please wait to be seated'. But the lady at the counter was oblivious to the fact that there was someone waiting by the door as she has her airpods in and was browsing her phone. People in the kitchen could see me but never informed the lady. At this moment I had the feeling the sign at the entrance is doing a better job than the lady at the counter. There was another guy behind me who decided he had enough and just went to ask for to go container for TO GO buffet. As this point I walked to counter and told the lady we had a reservation. She said take a plate and start on the buffet. I decided to wait for my friends.
FOOD: Bread and the sauce dips were ok! I did not try much of the salads. Meat was cold. Beef was chewy. Soup was decent.
Do not recommend this place.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 28, 2018
Had a hankering for some fresh med. food. This place hit the spot. My friend invited me in here in a Monday night and it was pretty empty, but so cozy at the same time. The sweet young guy working up front was super duper wonderful and let us sample different dips, the garlic hummus, oh my word, every vampire will instantly stop dead in their tracks, the garlic lingered in my mouth for over 48 hours, but so dang good! The sauces were fresh and delicious, the chicken plate was amazing. So much food! I had never been here and I love it!!!
The falafel was delicious and toasty. Great place! Go check them out!!!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Patricia M.Fairfield, CA085Sep 19, 2020
I'm glad they're open but the service is bad always has been, you can see how much the workers don't like being there. I ordered through UberEats during the weekday lunch hour 1230pm on Friday . I stood at the pickup area for a while they acknowledged me once I said my name and they talked in their language frantically and told me to wait. So yeah I waited like 5 minutes , I shit you not the same lady asks me why I am waiting I say I have a pickup and say my name and she says which app angrily so I tell her UberEats . And apparently my order had just been sitting there . No big deal it's "busy" like 5 other people . They used to handle much more , I am sure the pandemic has them mad but at this point that's how it is everyone has their "tilt" on this pandemic.
Anyways I love the food here I really do, super rich in flavor. I ordered a baklava $5 worth and got this small piece. I have ordered this before in person and have gotten much more than this . Just to add with that I selected fries and got potatoes.
I recommend coming here in person it's a better experience, still not the best since you can tell they hate their job. At this point online orders are keeping businesses like these afloat to an extent , especially when it was stricter. 2/5 for the good flavor but they got my order wrong and ripped me off and they were mean (normal)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kevin F.Plano, TX074Feb 27, 2021
This place used to be good months ago. Not sure what happened maybe different owner but the chicken was dry, burnt, and tasted old. The garlic aioli didn't taste like they added any garlic tasted like mayo and yogurt gross. The salad was bad too. I will no longer go here unless they get new owners or step there game up very disappointed.

What a pleasant surprise to find this come up in my FB feed.
I've been dying for a shawarma since all this Covid stuff and I'm not disappointed.
As soon as I placed my order for door delivery someone from the restaurant called to confirm my order and ask about the sides, the gentleman was very pleasant and I was impressed with the speed of the call back to ensure my order was correct.
The gyro shawarma was very good, tasty meat, great condiments inside and authentic wrap.
The chips were very crispy and unusual but good.
Fries are tough to get right on delivery so that's the price you pay for convenience so who cares if they are kinda soggy (that's not why I ordered the meal.)
Bottom line, the price was fair, the food was great and I would order again.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dec 15, 2020
Went to Mama Pita instead of CAVA purely due to proximity to where we were parked - I would say I had mixed feelings but it definitely takes a second to CAVA. The amount of food you get is huge, a whole large plate for a good price. I loved the potatoes, really crispy and flavorful. The falafel was crunchy and crisp, but felt a bit dry on the inside. The beet hummus was good, but a bit too smooth for my hummus liking. The garlic aoili that comes as a sauce is good too but the quantity is waaaay too much! For something that is mayo based, it should be more of a dressing than a side in my opinion, way too heavy and fatty otherwise. The salad options were pretty standard otherwise. The inside is pretty empty during covid times, and so we actually ate inside and felt comfortable not being too close to anyone else. Maybe worth a try, but not the best I've had.

Best pita wrap in the town guys. I always wanted to try mama pita sandwich at legacy as it looks promising from their menu. We had pita raj today where we have chooser falafel as protein and the hummus and egg plant hummus as a sauce with vegetables , rice and potatoes as toppings and garnishes. I must say i am very much impressed with their quality of wrap, it was Delicious and the size of wrap is sufficient-enough for two guys to serve as a small plates. Falafel especially was delicious and crispy.
Ambience was casual and staff was helpful. I am eager to try their chicken wraps and plates next time, but this restaurant definitely is on my list where i can go any number of timesHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nancy T.Garland, TX22787367Dec 29, 2018
I love Mediterranean food and this restaurant gives you a pretty large portion for the plates.
For the plate, you choose a protein and then your sides.
You choose two of each:
Dips/Sauces - tzaziki, hummus, other flavored hummus
Salad - cucumber salad, green leaf salad, etc.
Rice/potatoes - a couple different rices to choose from and fried potatoes.
They also give you a couple of thin, large pita breads.
It's a really good, healthy option. The flavors are all there and the portion is great. I'll be coming back.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
