Malonie K Banen Waxing & Electrolysis

Malonie is amazing. Not only was it one of the least painful waxing experiences I've had, she is quick, thorough and efficient. I was in and out in a little over 10 minutes, which is worth a lot considering there isn't much parking in the area and one of the only options is the garage in the building which charges by 10 minute increments. Everything was super clean and reasonably priced - I'd definitely go back.

Yes, because Malonie is not working here anymore but the place is still a go to when you want the job done. Massiel knows what she is doing and she is a great new "Malonie":) her style for waxing is very different but very well done. She is using hard wax which is not painful at all, takes time for details and really pays attention to what you want.
The only downside for me is that it takes longer than what I used to know for a Brazilian perfectly done. I think this is fixable because we chatted a lot being our first meeting:)

I found Malonie under Livingsocial and came in for a Brazilan, underarms and legs waxing. I've done underarms and Brazilan, but was nervous with legs. Thank goodness it didn't hurt! Both my legs and underarms felt so smooth afterwards and my legs didn't hurt. Though, after I finished showering, I had to wipe down my legs with baby wipes to get off the remaining wax residue, and there was quite a few.

The Brazilan - she's quick and efficient, but rough! Usually, it feels like a small electric shock, but dang, my body jumped a couple of times. I should've took some Tylenol before going. Though she did a great job in getting all the hair and strays out, but damn...luckily, I had enough pain tolerance to get through.

Street metered parking behind Chase Bank, and it's free after 6pm. I didn't see the entrance to park at her building. Nor was the parking lot attendant even there and so I meter parked to prevent getting a ticket or towed.

Great wax lady in Beverly Hills, and next time, take some Tylenol before coming again, lol!

I'm giving three stars because the owner is very nice, and didn't do anything wrong, for all intents and purposes. The equipment is simply ANCIENT. It's a blend method of thermolysis and electrolysis. It is much more painful than the new machines at other places. I jumped off the table in 3 minutes and just gave her a $20 tip to quit. The new equipment is a must.

This place is a scam. The previous owner was one of the most professional aestheticians I have ever met. The new one is improvising something she is not qualified for.

I am so pleased with Massiel's professionalism and skill. She is an exceptionally nice woman who cares for her clients and is committed to her craft. With s diverse clientele, including men, no challenge is too big for her! Massiel is expert in facials, hair removal, waxing. and more.

She is amazingly cool about rescheduling appointments.

Parking can be a little tricky around that area but if you time it right you can find street parking. And don't pay for an hour... this woman is fast and professional. You can literally be in and out in 20 minutes. LOVE that. Highly recommend. Studio is clean and you'll feel super comfortable. Relax. Malonie is awesome.

Massiel is INCREDIBLE! She's a pro with so much compassion and personality that makes a typically painful experience go by fast. This was my first full Brazilian in five months so I was prepared for the worst. Took two Advil and one extra strength Tylenol 30 minutes before my appointment which was on Christmas Eve, by the way. She took me even though I was really late for my appointment time. Massiel is sweet, caring, and her work is impeccable. Her prices are very reasonable but there's no skimping on cleanliness or convenience. Her space is pretty, clean, and located in a nice building with valet parking if you need it. This is the best find and my go to waxing place from now on.

Malonie is honestly the best in town. Pain free and redness free. She does everything so carfully and with love. She really cares about her clients. I always leave her office with a smile on my face. I am the biggest baby and I hate pain, but with Malonie I don't even feel it. I had my eyebrows done at a manicure salon and they completly ruined my eyebrows! I came into Malonies and she fixed it so beautifully. I would recommend coming here, you will look and feel like a brand new person. She does electrolysis as well :)

My first time experience waxing of any kind and I was literally petrified of what my experience was going to be like. I found Malonie on Groupon with a great deal , full legs, under arms and Brazilian. She was so swift and fast I didn't have much time to react which made my experience a lot less painful. It definitely wasn't as bad as I made it up to me if I can do it ANYONE can !!!!

Decided to pay this establishment a visit randomly today and I have to say it was one of the best if not the best experience I've had, Massiel was very professional and prepared, I recommend this place 100% ask for Massiel.
