Maiwand Kabob

Overall: This place needs improvement. No one speaks English at this establishment except the lady taking the orders, and the English she speaks is marginal at best. She gets confused handling many orders to the point that one can easily walk away with somebody else's order.
Food: 3-stars. Not bad, but not great either. It tastes like frozen food except for the bread. The bread is freshly made.
Service: 1 star. See above. --This is an old issue that needs corrective action by the owners of the business.
Ambiance: 3-stars. The place is small and clean, but it can easily get uncomfortably crowed during rush hour.

I love Maiwand! The staff is always so nice and helpful. The food is delicious too. I love the kabob over rice, and their bread is the BEST! I can't say enough good things about this place

Maiwand Kabob is a MD classic. They have multiple locations (I believe this is the original), and while they can vary a bit in quality it's only from really great to amazing.

This is one of the amazing one, you really can't go wrong with almost any item on the menu. It's also a great value with dinner size portions for lunch prices. Go, go, go!

Don't call it a comeback!? The quality has risen again from a years-long lull. I look forward to eating here when I go to my parents house. I just get the chicken kabob every time. I've had almost everything on the menu and it's just my go to.

Got take out while visiting our kids. Was absolutely delicious. The lamb kebab was delicious. So tender. Seasoned rice was great. Loved the hummus. Online order was easy. Quick pickup when promised. Would eat there again.

fantastic dishes. have been going here for years. friendly service. the beef and lamb kabob are delicious. ask for the beef to be med-rare, as it's normally over cooked, and you'll get perfectly tender beef every time. samosas and baklava are insanely good, as well. the rice is seasoned perfectly and i've never had an incident where anything has gone wrong within the 15 years i've been going here. i can't say that about many places, trust me.
