Magic Wok Chinese Restaurant

Makes me tear up because of how good it is. Perfectly tender, the sauce is strong enough maintain taste throughout chewing but not strong enough for you to get sick of it. Absolute 10/10

We had a fantastic meal, the "Happy Family" made with shrimp, lobster, scallops, thin sliced beef, broccoli, onion, mushrooms with fried rice. Delicious! Service was great also.

I'm gonna start off by saying that Magic Wok is a hidden gem in JC! I never would've thought little ole Johnson city would have a restaurant that served authentic Sichuan cuisine! We've dined here soooo many times since having lunch here for the first time with some friends. After trying more things on the menu here and there, I think the cumin beef, beef with chili and scallion, and shredded pork with pickled mustard greens are our favorite dishes! All dishes are served with either steamed rice or fried rice which is always cooked perfectly. They have an Americanized menu and an authentic menu, and also have daily specials as well as lunch portions and prices. Ever since moving away, I've missed eating here so much. Give them a visit and you won't regret it!

This was the first time I have eaten here and I was very impressed. The service was fantastic, they came around and checked on us several times throughout the meal, and were very helpful. There is a traditional Chinese menu and an Americanized-Chinese menu, I ordered off the traditional one and got the spicy chicken. It was a good amount of spice and very flavorful. The portion size of the noodles that my girlfriend got was ENORMOUS, we both ate our full and still had an entire take home container full. Very happy with the good and service

Enjoyed our dinners there. Fast friendly service, and tasty food. Stir fry is great ad well as soups and egg rolls.

Do yourself a favor and order the Peking duck! This place is the Star of Eastern Tennessee. Me and my wife just finished eating here for our one year anniversary and the food is well worth the 45 minute drive!

LOVE THIS PLACE !!! The girls up front are so nice , food is AMAZING, overall vibe in the restaurant is great . A nice hole in the wall place JC's hidden GEM . The customer service is awesome too . They called to make sure we had the right address when we made the order online . We WILL be back !!

Lo Mein noodles were spicy, gritty with hard bits in them. Chicken from the General Tso's was extremely dried out & hard. BBQ Bao Buns were the only thing that was edible.

I have been to Magic Wok several times and it never disappoints. Fast and friendly service, huge portions, and delicious food. I got the beef with noodles from the authentic szechuan menu and it was enough for two people. Not to mention bogo beers on Friday and Saturday. I will definitely be back.

Best authentic Chinese food! The food was so incredible we had to get seconds. The service was also wonderful. We had 2 servers, one man and one young lady who were on top of everything. So nice and welcoming. The ambiance was okay, could have been better but the food was so good I forgot where I was. Did I mention how wonderful the food was? The buns were so soft and just a tad sweet which made it completely perfect and the mini buns were so good with bits of soup already inside and the Szechuan noodles were massive and delicious! I cannot recommend the steamed buns more 10/10 restaurant. Thank you for hosting us
