MAC i AM

Brought our ancient Macbook Pro 2011 to "Sierra" at Mac iAM downtown. It would not boot up. We tried several fixes we looked up to no avail. Sierra had it up and going in 20 minutes approximately. BEST customer service you could ever ask for! Bring all your Mac products here - you'll be glad you did. She is super speedy fast, experienced, intelligent and even explains it to you in language you can understand what the issue was. There is parking on the street with city meters which use coins or credit cards to pay for short term parking. We parked and walked across the street and were on our way in 30 minutes! Tiny place downtown, BIG service and truely caring and upbeat.

Had an emergency yesterday, 500 miles from home, when my 2011 MacBook Pro booted to a "no operating system found" message. I'm very technically inclined, and was able to trace the problem to either the drive's flexible cable, or the SSD drive itself.

Option A sounded more likely, so I called 25 of the stores in Phoenix & Scottsdale that put themselves out there as a Mac repair experts. Of the three that said they had the cable in stock, Mac I Am was the only one who would actually sell it to me without paying about $100 for installation. At $40, it was cheaper than the Uber ride there and back, and it took me less than $10 to install. Highly recommend!

These guys fixed my husbands iPhone4 screen for 69.99. After my broken screen started getting worse I finally brought it here. They had it fixed within a hour and for under. $100. Can't beat the great price, and turn around time

So far, so good. Affordable fees. Fast service.

I have a 2011 MacBook Pro that hasn't had a tune-up or update since I purchased it in August 2011. I purchased the then new Microsoft Office Suite in 2012 and don't think I'll update anytime soon since I'm no longer a student. However, I became tired of the Firefox internet search engine generating a Crash Report and my lap top frequently populating the spinny-wheel beach ball of death. So, I dropped it off at "Mac I Am." The technician told me he'd clean it up and update it. I'm not tech savvy, so I can't expand upon that. All I know is that the lay-out on my desktop looks more modern and "cooler." All this cost me $75.00

Best customer service ever! I'm touring the country right now and needed same day service on my laptop. Was previously told I needed a complete new hard drive. Came and finally got an honest opinion and he was able to fix my entire hard drive situation with a simple cable fix. Honest competent work goes a long way and these guys are both honest and knowledgeable and for that reason I will be shipping all my tech needs to them!

Traveling to Phoenix with my son only to find that his phone wouldn't start up after the flight. I tried all the usual things suggested on the internet but without a PC or MAC I was pretty much stuck. My son has a 3 year old iPhone 4 but he's never updated the software or backed it up or any of the other expected things but he did have a lot of pictures and data that he was afraid he'd lose.

Long story short - found Mac I Am on Yelp. Went to see them the following morning. We were greeted in such a positive way and were told that they could fix it. They suggested we grab some late breakfast and they'd call me when it was ready. 45 minutes later, the call came in. The phone was fixed, AND updated and cleaned. They even adjusted a failing Home Button.

My son and I were both very impressed. All that for less than $20 !!

Fast and courteous service. I had a broken iPad screen and it was repaired within 24 hours. The work was quality and very affordable. As a bonus, I had an electronic issue with my e-scooter and the tech was able to fix it as well and get me up and running the same day. Hopefully I don't have any more of my electronics break soon, but if they do, MAC i AM would be my first stop. I highly recommend.

The location was close to my work so I just showed up, left my phone and got an email that my screen was repaired and new battery was installed in less than an hour! After weeks of use, everything still works flawlessly and they offer a 6 month warranty!!

First off this business is a rip off .. I was explained that when bringing in my computer to be repaired that there was an initial $79 fee and then if it was found to be hardware issue that my $79 would go towards the repair .. What they don't tell you is they then charge you an additional $79 .. I asked for them to send me an invoice which I never received and basically it was a complete waste of time and money .. I explained to the little man behind the desk how I felt ripped off and how what he said vs what he did were two different things .. He didn't seem to care and when I asked for my information with my passwords back he refused to shred it ... BEWARE !!!!

A month later took my same computer to the Apple Store where they informed me that whomever looked at it should of provided me some type of documentation showing what kind of test they ran on my computer ( which this place never provided.) The apple store also informed me that it was more then a hard drive repair and that these guys would of milked me for more then what they already ripped me off for ... BAD BUSINESS

Mel is the man to see,had a 5 needing to be fixed. Been to 6 different spots to get it fixed. 5 out of 6 spots said they could do it and then back out fixing it due to wanting more money.
Walked into the shop,Mel greet Me with a smile and talked me thru the steps,said it would take 45 mins. 18mins later after replacing the screen and battery,the phone was ALIVE!!! ALIVE at a very nice price,better then other spots quoted for screen only.
