Popped into MEAT Eatery just by chance on a Super Bowl Sunday around 1pm. Although the place was officially closed ( owner George Patti was there filling take out orders). He offered to cook us burgers and they were great!
Above and beyond hospitality!

Used to be a great spot to grab a burger. Juicy Lucy was my favorite. Sad to see this restaurant go so terribly downhill.

Couple of weeks ago, we stopped by and were repeatedly told that the restaurant was out of various items. From wings, to soup, to balsamic dressing, to olive oil (for salad)... the reason we were given was that "they had a busy month".

We decided to give it another chance and return and this time just ordered burgers. Unfortunately even the signature item of this burger joint had gone terribly downhill. My favorite was always the Juicy Lucy which is supposed to be stuffed with pimento cheese. This version of the burger was incredibly dry and with no pimento cheese in it, and just a small slice of cheese on top of it.

To make matters worse when I asked the chef (who was walking by) if they changed the recipe as my burger had no pimento cheese inside he looked at me puzzled and said "maybe they just didn't put as much cheese in it?"

If that's the attitude of the chef, can only imagine how the rest of the staff feels...

Drinks are now served in tiny styrofoam cups, the restaurant is empty, no atmosphere to speak of, empty fridges staring customers in the face, just not a place you want to be...

Not coming back.

I wish I could be there every day for lunch, truly.

Great place with friendly staff and great vibes, but the food is UNREAL.

I got a daily special I think was called the Cowboy burger that had brisket on it and it was AMAZING. I also got the bread pudding while I was there, because of the burgers were that good, I knew dessert was going to be just as stellar!

Spoiler alert: it was.

This place was highlighted on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives for a reason, head over there whenever you can!!

I went here to pick up my birthday burger (if you are on their email list you have access to this). I went in and didn't know which burger I was going to pick - I ended up ordering the "Inside Out juicy Lucy"- 6 oz pimento cheese and bacon stuffed angus burger with american cheese,, lettuce and tomato! and had no idea what to expect! It was delicious! It came with a choice of fries or coleslaw- we opted for the coleslaw. It was delicious. Just so you know, they have been featured on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives." So they are very popular. It is located in a strip mall and you can park right outside. It is a very casual place. I love the decor in this place. It's very hip and festive. I want to come back to try their pulled pork, salads, wings and more!! Give it a whirl-you won't be sorry!

It's not often that I want a full out burger but when it hits I want the right kind of burger. I don't wanna waste my calories or taste buds on something that's not worth it. That's why this is the only place I come in all of South Palm for the most kick ass burger you can find! Carson greets me at the door today, we sit at the counter, music is alternative rock, and food is perfection! Wings, Nancy w cheddar/double Patty, and truffle fries.

I sat at the bar and received excellent service from Julie and enjoyed Ice cold craft beer and award winning burgers. What more do you need. A Great Visit!

Meat Eatery and Taproom hit all the marks I look for when I'm out and about in the moment looking for a great spot to dine. Featured on Diner Drive Ins and Dives. Come check them out.

This place is famous (chicken wings & chicharrones ) and oddly never super busy maybe I just come at the right time.

The food to me is always good. Duck fat their secret trick for delish zucchini and regular fries.

My favorite is the chorizo burger and my hubby does tumor has a brisket. There's a cheesecake and hubby got brisket cheesesteak.

I just think if you're going to cheat and have an unhealthy meal it should be worth it and this place is.

Plus they have good beer.
I love the music they play and the rustic old style diner vibes. You order up at the counter.
PS get the mango ketchup so good.

We went from every Sunday takeout customers to not being customers at all

Forgot the pickles which they charge extra for. Everything is extra here .

Burnt burgers , burnt bacon , inedible and we are a half hour away. Travel time wasn't worth the risk again.

Who would want to eat what's in these photos.

Messaged with the owner who said he had new ppl in the kitchen. But he was out of town. Why would you leave cooks who can't cook in your kitchen?

It is always empty , now we know why

It's a shame I've heard this restaurant has good burgers. But I have now been here 2 times and have been turned away.

I understand the restaurant closes at 9:00 p.m. but the kitchen should not be closed at 8:40 p.m. twice. It's very frustrating to drive here, park my vehicle and walk into a restaurant with 20 minutes to go and I can't get a to-go order or sit down and have something to eat.

I won't be coming back or recommending this restaurant. You can get a good burger at a dozen other places in Boca Raton. Don't support this bad service.

I had the Juicy Lucy and it is a great burger! Love the house ketchup. Had my favorite beer on tap Stella Artois. Great friendly service You definitely need to try this place out for a good burgers and beer!.
