M & M Sandwich Shop

Unfortunately M&M's burned down a couple years ago, but they use to have really good hoagies and the best macaroni salad.

The food runs the range from fair to pretty good. Nothing was "horrible", but nothing stood out as "wonderful", either. One note: Our chili dog was very sweet- I would avoid that in the future.

Service was friendly and relatively quick.

The dining area was typical for a sandwich place, and kept clean.

I come here every time I'm in the area visiting family. The food is fresh and delicious. Don't miss their soups, salads and desserts in the case. Their cold salads are addictive.

Decided to post this review after receiving my pre order holiday meal. My complaint lies in the serving size. My one star review is due to the owners reaction to my complaint which I will get you in a moment. The description for the meal stated that it would feed 8 to 10 people however upon bringing it home we found the serving containers not to be filled to the top with the vegetables. I decided to place a call to the owner to discuss to my dissatisfaction with the meal. Upon getting on the phone with the owner he immediately became angry and irritated with my complaint. He stated that he has been working in the food/catering business for years and I am the first complaint he has ever received. After minutes of ranting he then stated that I had two options to either return the meal or eat it. No apologies were offered. Due to the owners unprofessional attitude I will not be a returning customer.

This is a charming little shop with a nice variety in their menu and fair prices. We stopped here driving from MD to NY because we wanted some good food - not processed meat-type burgers from the local fast food joint. We were NOT disappointed. My husband had an Italian sub with all quality, fresh, and tasty ingredients from the veggies to the meats to the bread. Although I'm not normally a big fan of chowders, their seafood chowder was the best thing I've eaten in a while. It was addictive! Then the refrigerators full of tasty treats and to-go homemade soups, barbecue, etc... I had to leave before I bought everything. If we had a sandwich shop like this at home, we'd never cook, but we'd be as big as a house. Thank you for the kind, speedy service and our delicious lunch!
