I got a great haircut from Wendy. She is very kind and works hard to make sure she knows what you want. She gives a great massage too.

Sue is absolutely the best for hair! I moved to Lake Forest and will travel to Luvie Salon for Sue. I have tried other salons and nobody could get my hair blonde the way Sue can. She uses the best products, works to make sure my hair is healthy and strong and takes her time. She does all types of hair extensions which I'll go to her for my next install. Go to Sue she is amazing and a miracle worker!! :-)

I'd give 0 stars if I could. I stopped in to get a pedicure and only one lady was doing someone's hair. She didn't greet me or ask what I wanted at all, so I sat in the waiting chairs next to another person waiting. I had been sitting for at least 15 minutes by the time she called the guy up to cut his hair and still didn't ask what I needed. Another lady came around the corner and looked at me and walked back into the back room. I gave them another 5 min before just walking out. Horrible service

I was locked in the shop
Had to get my nails repainted and re did and she charged me $40
For what?
Gel color on nails and repaint of toes !
By the way she promised to matched the colors!
Gave me the first pink she saw,
And until I demanded her to match the color I wanted like she promised she just slapped a coat of paint on top !

I'm so livid!!!
I didn't even get water on my shit !
What I pay for coming after 7? $40? Really?


I have a internet based business and I have to stay on point at all times
I never felt disrespectful and mistreated
And to think she brought up church!
Religion.. during my nails like I'm not supposed to be mad for being mistreated ..

I shall not turn the other cheek for someone's mishaps against me ..

I don't want anyone to experience this mistreatment
And get this , she was escorted to her car after work..
I did not yell, nor argue with her..
I damn near cried, because never in a million years I would think people treat others like this ..

I do not want to bring the race card up.. but I feel like that was maybe the issue

Came in to get my nails done at 725. They close at 8. There was three workers just sitting there around one of the desks (a guy and two ladies; I believe). I needed a few nails fixed (I did get them done somewhere else as a disclaimer). They don't do dip powder there so I asked if they'd just take do gel on the gels that my dip powder chipped off on. Met with silence... I then suggested that we just take the dip powder off and do gel instead. She was very hesitant and said "well we close at 8," she then agreed and then relooked at my nails and said "can you come back tomorrow?" I said yeah so as not to be rude but I should have just said forget it. Of course I didn't come the next day.

Why say you're open until 8 if you're not? Why just sit there with an empty salon and do nothing to save face?? Just close earlier! There's salons out there busting their ass!!! They want $$, they even stay past close. Good luck to them.

They charged me $21 to remove my nail polish. I was shocked! I can't believe I actually paid this. Not only did she charge me so much but was so aggressive when taking it off that my nails were hurting after. Very bummed on this experience.

I came in with really damaged hair from all the flat ironing, at home bleaching/coloring and let's not forget the tons of products I put in my hair. My ma recommend for me to see Sue and am glad she did. I came in pretty hesitant cus it's really only been my hands that cut and colored my hair for years. And I told Sue what I wanted and she did an amazing job. My hair looks healthier, feels lighter and looks super pretty, I love it!! I recommend that y'all come in and see Sue, she really is a sweet person and can help with any hair fix. She even trimmed my daughters hair while we waited for the timer on the hair dye. Thanks so much Sue!

I love this salon! Every time I come, it is always so clean, nicely decorated and smells nice--not that icky chemical smell you get from most salons in the area. The women are very friendly and accommodating. Also, I'm always offered water or hot tea which is a nice touch:

If you need to have your nails did, I highly recommend Pam. She is incredibly meticulous and detail oriented... She is definitely a bit of a perfectionist which is awesome because my nails look flawless every time. The only drawback is that it takes a lot longer than what I was normally used to which is fine for me since I now just allot more time to my salon visits. If you're in a rush, this is not really the place for you to be.

Best place to get nails done! Lily is a perfectionist and knows how to do gel and acrylic and even powder dipped for my paper thin nails. They always last at least 2 weeks and usually 3.

I have sensitive skin and Luvie Salon was perfect for me. Quinn was very gentle and took the time to do a great job! My nails and toes look great, and it was a great experience.

I saw a negative review mentioning that the doors are locked. They keep the doors locked at night for safety. The neighbor felt safe, but it felt nice to know that they were extra attentive to the safety of the salon and their clients.

I'm not often in the area, but I will visit next time I'm in town. It's a great place to get your nails done!
