Another family dinner at this location and another night of incredible customer service.
Since it is only a few days before Christmas on a Thursday night, this Lupe Tortillas had a line out the door .
Within 10 minutes, we were seated, and our server Hugo had our chips , drink orders, and food orders taken care of in the next 5 minutes .
It's pretty impressive considering how busy this location was!
My 2 carnivores ordered the steak lupe and steak dinner.
You have to keep the meat eaters happy!
Our food came out quickly and was served hot like we like it on cast iron skillets.
Wonderful way to start the Holiday season.

The chicken tacos were cooked perfectly and Angel our server had our food out faster than you could say " liggedy split ".
Customer Service is an important quality at this establishment as even the manager came by to ask how our meal was and if we needed anything else.
Margarita was just the right size and my lunch companions seemed to love their food the Steak Lupe and steak al carbon since only a few crumbs were left on their plate.
Tips: go between 2 to 3pm and less busy
Parking: few extra steps since their remodel of the lot but we needed it with the extra calories so it balanced out.

However, when politely asked how long it would take, the employee became rude. After the food came out, part of the order was missing. When the gal came out with the missing chips, she rudely handed it to my wife without saying anything.

I got a mojito rita i added mango puree and it was delicious (coming from a bartender themself!) i will say their drinks will definitely give you a nice buzz. the food was also good we got a pound of chicken and beef on a sizzler plate and it came with rice beans guacamole and pico with cheese and tortillas. cute date night spot and our server Jorge was amazing. overall great service great ambiance and great food!

This place I think has lost all trust in human beings or just prejudging people but there is a new rule that you have to give payment before your order goes in....what kinda established restaurant does that . I hope they change this rule . Really bad rule . It felt disrespectful so I just didn't eat there n went to el tiempo

My partner and I came about an hour before closing and they were so gracious. They told us not to hurry, they treated us like we could stay all night. We left before closing, just for the record. My partner had cheese enchiladas and I had the beef fajitas and they were both excellent. We also had the queso which is always fabulous. The service was amazing, the restaurant is super clean and the manager came by to ask how we were doing so it was a really great night and the food was awesome!

Walked in with low expectations but was so surprisingly impressed!
Beef fajitas were insanely delicious, so very tender and extremely well seasoned. Soft freshly made flour tortillas and great guacamole on the side as well. I asked for lime to squeeze on top of fajitas and that really made it all the better.
Loved that there is a charro bean dip brought to the table along with the expected salsa and chips, it's really good. Just needed a little salt to bring out the cilantro, garlic & pinto bean flavors.
The Lupes Original Margarita (frozen & reposado tequila) was really yummy as well. Happy I ordered a large size, paired so well with the salted rim.
Franchesco was a professional and efficient waiter and made sure we had all we needed.
We will absolutely be back!

Easy to find parking in the adjacent lot. Table and bar seating is available. Lots of options available on the menu. Friendly service and the food was just as consistently good as the other West Houston locations that I've been to.

The Lupe Cheese enchilada with tamale ancho sauce and carne molida chalupa is enough to keep you filled after a 2 hour workout jujitsu session. Served with rice and frijoles( that's bean for the you gringoes) you will not leave the table hungry.
I took my future son their for a special treat and he could only eat half since the portions were ginormous.
Service was a little slow since they were exceptionally busy but felt we were taken care of and the margaritas were the right size and tasty.
Margarita was served with 100% Reposo tequila triple sec and served frozen in a Mexican martini glass with a side of lime.
Parking::not bad

Food: plentiful hot fresh

Came for breakfast today and it was outstanding. I had the: TEXAS BENEDICT
Sausage, fried egg, scratch made sausage gravy. 11.95. Everything was great and our server, Steven was AMAZING!! Love the updated decor & open windows. Gorgeous! So much different than last visit!

Asked for more, but they only give you a tiny bowl for extra. Main issue started by them seating most everyone in the glassed in garage type area by the patio / facing the freeway. Noise from other table with larger party and child was deafening. Queso was extremely watery!
Mgr. stopped by, but just asked if we were ok. I went to tell him about the queso and ask why the hostess seats everyone so close together in a loud area - but he quickly turned around and ran off. The best part was Dylan who was amazing. I gave him a good tip. He is excellent. Not feeling too excited about coming back. I should've said no to sitting in loud garage room! UghMay 17, 2020Previous reviewWent to this location for the first time this past Friday night. Our waiter was outstanding and the food was to die for. Usually go to the location off Shepherd & Durham - but WOW....this location is outstanding. Food was just to die for. Was fresh, flavorful and amazing. Margaritas were delicious and we had a great time. My only suggestion is that they expand their bathrooms. There was almost always 2 people waiting to get inside.
They were also doing an outstanding job with masks. We felt safe and cared about. Thank you for an amazing evening!!
