We have had nothing but issues living here and our buildings fire alarm doesn't even work. Apparently it's been going on for awhile and still isn't resolved.HUGE SAFETY CONCERN!! You ask questions and no one in the office knows the answers. My water and sewer bill has gone up drastically in the last couple months, no one can give me an answer on that.
      Walls are paper thin.
      Appliances are falling apart.
When we moved in the A/c didn't work for 3 days.
Valet trash doesn't come until 1 o'clock in the morning.
I've lived in 3 different states many apartments, some worse shape than these and had a better experience !

Only positive note is Jeremy in maintenance has always been here when I put in maintenance request and he's been great.

But other than that We cannot wait to get out of here.

Terrible Apartment. Please stay away if possible. Anywhere else would provide you better care than here.

Great response time and work. Very polite and professional Maintance team. Repair items that needed attention promptly and efficiently.

They genuinely can't help maintenance is short staffed- I believe the new lead they brought on is doing a great job. Appliances take a but but that's apartment life! but staff is friendly and they do their best to give attention to the priorities. Appliances should be replaced more often and PUT SCREENS on the patios For what we pay!! Overall I like it.

Horrible maintenance experience. I called for them to fix my freezer that was not cooling correctly before the hurricane. Instead they ignore the request. I spent the entire Hurricane week without a refrigerator. When the power was restored the refrigerator lost all function. I lost all my food leaving me and children with no food for 7 days and counting. They have not addressed or even called me regarding an update. Management is quick to let residents know when they are wrong. However, extremely slow when fixing their own problems. Picture shows my freezer temp before it lost all function. Staff said that is normal. FDA recommends the freezer temp to be 0 to -18 degrees to safely store food. Anything above that allows bacteria to grow.

Freezer Temp before the hurricane. Which they did not fix and had ample time before the Hurricane to do so.

Please never move into this apartment.
LECOM student, this apt is close to the campus but do not move here! If you decide to move here, you will regret it throughout your stay. I have lived in several states and various apartments, but this place was the worst. Firstly, I have no idea what the office staff does. They will give you a tour of the apartment, but don't be fooled. They will only be kind until you sign the contract. Once you sign the contract, they will not be the same as before. This apartment has a lot of dogs' feces all around the apt complex. They claim to conduct DNA tests to find the person who didn't clean it up, but I doubt if they really do it because the mess is still all around the apartment complex. Security of this apt is not great, the sidewalk gate does not lock at all and I've seen people from neighborhood jumping off the fence to get in. The entrance is always open, allowing outsiders and thieves to enter at any time. And the leasing office didn't bother to fix any of those problems. Many facilities in the apartment are broken, and they have no intention of repairing them.
This apt has paper-thin walls. We had loud neighborhood, and we could hear everything, especially when they play movie or have guests over. It was a torture living with the noise.
And if you decide to move out, don't expect to receive your deposit back, and you'll have to pay even more money on top of the lost deposit, for "repairs." No matter how clean you leave the place and only have normal wear and tear, they will find a way to extract a significant amount of money from you. There's much more to say, but I'll stop here. Just don't live here to avoid unnecessary stress.

Ive lived here for 3 years, rent keeps going up, nothing changes. They are now painting, however they did not even powerwash the buildings, they are painting over dirt. Years ago they would powerwash regularly. They are nickel and diming us, a leisure fee? What exactly is that. The management company could care less about anyone, its all money. Do not move here! They will charge to replace a 4 year old carpet when they need to replace it anyways when you move out.

We really wanted to like it at this location, but now we are seriously reconsidering what we are paying for what we thought was a semi-luxury apartment with great amenities.

      1. Apartment was VERY dirty when we moved in. We even delayed moving in to have the cleaning company go back in, but it appeared that they didn't do anything the second time (attached picture is after the second round of "cleaning"). It took us a very long time to clean the apartment before we were comfortable unpacking. The unit they showed us at the walk-through was spotless.
      2. At the move-in inspection, we were told to put in maintenance requests for anything that wasn't working to be taken care of. The water dispenser and ice-maker on the refrigerator were not working, so we put in a maintenance request to have it fixed. Maintenance informed us that a functioning water dispenser and ice-maker was "optional" and closed the ticket without fixing it. They put in a "bypass" (because thy won't pay to replace the filters that are there when you move in, even if they are clogged from a previous tenant) that is supposed to allow the water/ice machine to work, but it still doesn't work.
      3. The dryer exhaust vent was completely clogged with lint from prior tenants. The first attempt by maintenance to clear it was with a leaf-blower (not a professionally recommended solution at all). Later, after continued contact with management, a "vendor" came out to conduct the cleaning. This makes me wonder about the state of all of the exhaust ports in the building. If they are all clogged (because regular maintenance does not appear to be conducted) this is an extreme fire hazard.
      4. We have had two packages lost because Amazon leaves packages at the "Mail room" that you have to pay to use. We wanted to opt-out, but that is not an option, because couriers will just leave packages on the floor or on top of the mailboxes instead of delivering to the unit. I'm pretty sure someone goes in each night and takes boxes that are left, because it happened twice in a row. Management takes no responsibility for the mail room. Because of this, you either need to pay the $20 "optional" Parcel Pending fee, or have to hassle with lost/stolen packages in the mail room.

I may consider amending this review if our issues are addressed. However, I feel like I have brought our concerns up to the proper management levels to this point and we are not satisfied with the responses.

The quality of our unit is simply not worth what we are paying, in our opinion. A proper point-by-point inspection and cleaning/maintenance of the units prior to turnover is not happening, resulting in gradual disrepair of the units.

      Thank you,
      Andrew Mattheus

      First to Review

Pros: Convenient location, actually luxury-style, spacious property.
Cons: horrible management, hidden charges, lack of customer service.

I loved the layout of the apartments and the site was always clean and maintained. The clubhouse was very cool and useful- gym was equipped with everything I needed, business center offered free printing (even though it was almost always out of toner) and the hammocks were nice to relax on.

9/10 times you call the office, you'll get sent to voicemail. The agents are there, but they hardly ever answer the phone. It is a gated community but half the year the gates were always left open or not working...I can't tell you how many times I had to go in through the exit side because of this issue. They charged us crazy fees when we moved out and were never really attentive to fix up our accounts.

I would recommend to live here for the most part, but definitely be mindful of the management as they are a big business and aren't as compassionate to your issues.

Thank you Kristen, Tesa, Sandra, and the entire Lost Creek crew for making our move to Lost Creek such a wonderful experience!! Beautiful community, well maintained by people who care, and great amenities to boot! Coming from a truly horrific experience in west Bradenton, this place is like a breath of fresh air. We are beyond thrilled with our new home!
