Amazing! Wife & I stopped in for lunch after exploring Littleton, I order 3 Cheese enchiladas with beans & rice, wife got Al Pastor Tacos. Enchiladas were fully melted & cheesy deliciousness, rice actually has salt in it, and the beans were great.
Steak was seasoned as well, pico has a bit of a kick from the Jalapeños added. Our server was friendly & attentive to us & those coming in. (Yay to no on the phone at the host stand!!)
Will definitely return, 10/10!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mariah W.San Francisco, CA01Mar 3, 2024

What a great hole in the wall authentic Mexican food restaurant! We stumbled upon this on a whim when we were in the area and wanted some good Mexican food.
The service was outstanding and was very quick. Our waitress was very friendly, knew the menu and bar options very well and she was very sweet. This location is in a strip mall so the outside is kind of unassuming but the inside of the restaurant is very clean and is tastefully decorated. I appreciated the music playing wasn't too loud.
The free chips and salsa were a nice starter. You could tell both were fresh. The $6 happy hour frozen margaritas were some of the best I've had. Per our waitress they use Sauza Reposado tequila in their frozen margarita and it was so good. Some of the smoothest tequila I've ever had.
I had the Huevos Con Chorizo that came with refried beans and hash browns and was smothered in green chili. Everything was very fresh with great flavor and was served piping hot. I only wish I would've asked for rice instead of hash browns but that was my mistake. My friend got the Los Portales Burrito smothered in chile queso. I tasted the chile queso and it was amazing. I wish we would've saved room for dessert and another margarita but I guess we will just have to go visit again.
I will absolutely make the 35 minute drive back here to enjoy some of the best Mexican food I've had in a long time.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Laura H.Glen Burnie, MD024Apr 14, 2024

We got take out from here and I was pretty underwhelmed. We started with the sampler plate which was totally not worth it. The queso was good and we should have ordered just that singly because the quesadilla was super thin and we literally got two jalapeño poppers that tasted exactly like the frozen kind. I ordered the hueveos rancheros and was honestly pretty grossed out by it. The eggs were covered in green chili, which I did not feel like tasted like green chili (my fiancé agreed), but completely covering them in the sauce caused the yolks to get entirely like soft boiled even though I ordered them over medium. The has brown was the best part. My fiancé got the enchiladas which he did enjoy, but agreed the green chili didn't taste like green chili.

The food is delicious, it's family owned, the prices and specials are good, and the restaurant itself is pretty and authentically decorated. Lovely service.

I don't know what it is about Mexican Restaurants, but I'll order Chimichanga which is supposed to be deep fried but here lately never are and this place is no exception. Although the food and service was good the cooks need to quit taking short cuts and make the Chimichanga right
