We were in the area again and decided to have a late breakfast here. I had to have the quesabirria and it was delicious.
We lingered and were talking when I saw a waffle being delivered to another table. Long story short we ordered one with whipped cream, bananas and blueberries and yada yada yada, it's my wife's favorite thing on the menu now.
What a treat!!!Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0Nov 29, 2023Previous reviewWe were in the area and had decided to have late breakfast/lunch so I suggested Los Feliz Cafe, hoping that she would say okay. She did and off we went.
I had to try the quesabirria tacos as I had seen them there a few weeks earlier. My wife opted for a BLT.
Everything was very good. Her BLT was satisfying and had plenty of avocado.
My quesabirria tacos were the star of the menu. Savory beef with melted cheese in a crunchy taco with spicy consumme for dipping. I was in heaven. The small portion of chili sauce added more heat to each bite but it wasn't off putting.
We will be back for sure!!!Oct 29, 2023Previous reviewA few years back, I read about the cafe at Los Feliz golf course (a little 9 hole, par 3). The article noted changes to the existing cafe and an improved menu.
Fast forward to today while we were in Glendale for a youth baseball game and wanting breakfast/lunch. I recalled the article about the cafe and looked it up on Yelp. The reviews were good so we went there.
It was a Sunday so it was crowded and to be expected. Parking was plentiful and I was lucky to get a spot away from the course and errant shots.
We found a table in the patio facing the course and perused the menu. I ordered the breakfast tacos and my wife ordered the burger.
My tacos were delicious and plenty (3) with a medley of regular and sweet potatoes (very tasty). My wife thoroughly enjoyed her burger and it was definitely a handmade patty.
Service was okay but because of the crowd, it took a bit of time for our meals to arrive but we were in no rush. The food was hot and plated well. The waiters were busy but they all attended to our needs.
One dish that I noticed on the next table is another reason for us to return. I want to try the quesobirria tacos. They are a local favorite there and I plan to enjoy them soon.
From the crowd there including a crew of 4 LA City Firefighters, this place is a local hit. Golf courses have traditionally been good places for food and this cafe is no exception. I say "Go Fore It"! - Apr 17, 20241 check-in
Anyone can find something they like with this menu! Wide variety of options and everyone really like their different meal. Average pricing for brunch items. Definitely average cafe vibes but great for large groups. Nice large outside patio and inside seating was available too. We all really loved their season fries and got 3 rounds to share. The service was good and quick. My only critique would be that the bananas and berries on the French toast were not fresh and a bit mushy but the cornflake French toast itself was very good!

Beautiful restaurant
Amazing food
Services was ok , could be improved
This was my first time here and it's quit small but so open and gorgeous inside. What a pretty view of the golf course field with their floor to ceiling windows.
Wait for a table wasn't long at all, food take roughly 35 mins which was fine since I was catching up with my family the time flew by.
I love that they have SOOOOO MANY OPTIONS ON THE KIDS MENU. My little one is obviously picky but she was overwhelmed with all the great options.
I'm not much of a French toast fan, I'm a pancake lover for sure, but I saw people raving about the French toast and just had to try them. I'm so happy I did because they were absolutely delicious. Almost tasted like it had a custard filling but they didn't, they were just that good!! Slightly toasted outside, soft bouncy center. You can tell it's top quality bread ! Delicious!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Carolina P.Los Angeles, CA68242Mar 24, 2024
The server attending the cafe inside was rude, didn't seem to care if we found or seat or not. Was going to write what happened to us but they don't even deserve that. It was a Saturday morning, 3/23 around 10am, and the man at the cashier was absolutely terrible. No good morning, no care, no eye contact and honestly he seemed hungover or had no want to be there. I asked him questions and took him several seconds to respond, Everyone else was just as bad. And the food wasn't much better.
