I am a vegan and want to join my carnivorous friends there. I didn't see that you had a vegan menu BUT I see your good a la carte menu with grilled mushrooms. Is it possible to order Mushroom Fajitas? What the price would be for that substitution?

My new favorite in Green Valley! Great food (homemade flour tortillas!) and ambiance.
I had chicken fajitas. The best I've had in a long time. Chicken and veggies so flavorful. Husband had carne asada tacos and they were outrageous. Loved his Cadillac marga. My FIL loves the catfish
Only complaint is service...took longer than I'd like to get waters and drink/meal orders...but I think it's because they were slammed. (No deduction of stars! Just patience advised)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Apr 9, 2016Previous reviewI had a chicken enchilada and a ground beef enchilada. Wasn't crazy about the sauce. If I want Mexican, I'd rather go to Manuel's. Food was not as good as Mexican food I can get in Ohio.
The margarita was average. - Christy R.Tulsa, OK021Apr 19, 2024
Their seafood is awesome! Mr. Delmar is chopped avocado, chopped tomato and chopped jumbo shrimp. Excellent excellent they also have something called Vera cues on pasta which I ordered without the noodles making it keto low carb gooood!
Not a five star cause you if you order corn tortillas you need to double check and make sure they're corn and not flour tortillas. They make this mistake often.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 30, 2023
This was my third time eating at Los Agaves, and each time, the meal was flavorful. We had family visiting over Thanksgiving who wanted to eat at a local Mexican restaurant and I am glad that we decided to dine here as the food is consistent. The servers were polite and attentive. I wish their menu prices matched what is on their website. I had the Tuesday special, taco plate with all three varieties. I am also a big fan of their house margarita.

No negativity on the establishment but maybe there should be some decorum of the clientele. Walker in today to just order some to go and have a drink while waiting - one chair available at the bar. Proudly and boldly declared by a woman four seats down "don't let her sit there, save those seats for _____".
Walked out.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0Jun 5, 2016Previous reviewAnother winning Sunday at Los Agaves. Chicken Enchiladas, this time.
After reading other reviews on this site, I just have to mention that if you want real, authentic Mexican food - go to Mexico - if you want ground beef, go to Taco Bell). This is Americanized Mexican food, just like anything north of the border, for the most part.
Food is well above average and more than well portioned, service (in the bar) entertaining and excellent.Mar 8, 2015Previous reviewRetraction of last review: wings are back to normal - and TNT service an all time high! Sunday's at Los Agaves - love it!
Jul 28, 2013Previous reviewLos Agaves Restaurant - am a 'frequent flier' in the past but was having some 'not-so' great experiences - some service issues with particular personnel (where this server forgot that 'customer service' is key)... and some quality of food (not prepared as requested or to quality standards)... HOWEVER Saturday night "Rib Night" ... get there early to get the best of the batch - fall off the bone ribs; tasty, a little too much sauce but definitely TASTY! And Trent (bartender, lovingly known as TNT by a few of us) ... definitely a customer service oriented soul with a great sense of humor! Will be back on Saturdays!

We sat at the bar. The bar tender seemed to be in a bad mood. What up with the website / I couldn't find a menu
I had the beef fajitas and the Cadillac margarita. The fajitas were 3.5 out of 5. I was pleased with the amount of steak, but it wasn't as flavorful as I would like. The tortillas were good, but way too small, especially considering you only get three. No guacamole with fajitas, that's a first. They were stingy with the chips and salsa. The margarita was really good. My wife really liked the steak quesadillas. We just moved here and have tried 3 different Mexican restaurants in 2 weeks - The Rodeo, Manuel's and this restaurant. For my money this is the best of the lot but still pretty average compared to other Mexican restaurants we've frequented in Denver and Dallas
While not perfect we'll definitely be backHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sep 30, 2023
I loved this place! Great service-very fast and friendly: was acknowledged and seated immediately when we walked in the door and had waters on our table immediately. The tortilla chips were warm and fresh and mild salsa flavorful. Mom and I split the shredded beef chimichanga enchilada style, as it was huge. Loved the frijoles and rice as well. The margarita was a perfect compliment to the spice-not too sweet either. I'll be back!

We really enjoyed our visit here recently. I think we've found our new go-to spot for Mexican food. Our service was excellent and the atmosphere was laid back and friendly. I'm glad we found this place!

Good food, good service! Came with my parents for dinner and we had a nice time. It was very busy but only had to wait about 10 minutes or so to be seated. Our order was taken quickly and we all enjoyed our dinners. We also got a fruit chimichanga for dessert which was also pretty tasty. I'd recommend checking this place out. We'll definitely be back.

Took my uncle and dad here for lunch on a Monday. Became crowded quick around 12:30. Service was great. Super nice and fast! Food was bland, lacked flavor. Portions were generous though. I had the ground beef taco platter. Rice was good, beans no flavor and tacos left me wanting more flavor. Meat didn't taste seasoned. My dad had the beef taquitos- he enjoyed them. My uncle had the cat fish platter- winner for the value. Huge piece of fish, baked potato, veggies ( frozen then steamed) and cole slaw.
Free chips and salsa. Salsa very mild and sweet. Chips are delicious!
Too many great Mexican restaurants in the area. Probably won't be back.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 1
