The care I received from Longwood Dental is excellent. More specifically my Dental Hygienist Alla Shpitalnik has managed my Dental heath carefully and assiduously . Her cleaning work and the customer experience is fantastic . She is proactive looking at all aspects including verification with X Rays and Dr. checkins. She has been very proactive to prevent cavities and gum issues. It's been a very successful and results are fantastic!

I never imagined that a visit to the dentist could irrevocably alter my life, but that's exactly what happened at Longwood Dental. My story is one of negligence, greed, and a battle with physical and emotional scars that will take years to heal.

It began with a routine check-up, where the dentist at Longwood Dental alarmingly diagnosed me with several 'deeply decayed' teeth that he claimed required immediate extraction. Trusting his professional judgment, I consented to the procedure. That decision haunts me to this day.

Post-extraction, not only did I endure excruciating pain, but I also started noticing changes in my facial structure. My bite felt off, and I was having difficulty chewing. Concerned, I sought the opinion of an orthodontist, who was shocked by my condition. According to him, the teeth extracted were not decayed beyond repair and certainly not to the extent that necessitated removal. Their absence had caused a shift in my bite, leading to malocclusion and, over time, a noticeable asymmetry in my face. My once balanced features were now distorted, resulting in a recessed and, frankly, borderline deformed jawline.

The psychological toll was immense. I became a recluse, shying away from social interactions and mirrors alike. The vibrant person I once was had vanished. When I confronted Longwood Dental, they were dismissive and had the audacity to suggest that any facial changes were due to natural aging and not their intervention. They refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing, let alone offer compensation or assistance.

Now, I'm facing a series of expensive and invasive surgical procedures with a plastic surgeon to correct the damage. The cost is astronomical, but what choice do I have? This is about reclaiming my life, my self-esteem, and my identity.

Longwood Dental's blatant disregard for ethical practice and patient care has left me with a lifetime of consequences. They prioritized profit over my well-being, and in doing so, they've robbed me of more than just my teeth--they've stolen years of my life and peace of mind.

I implore anyone considering Longwood Dental to seek a second opinion before agreeing to any major procedures. What happened to me should never happen to anyone else. It's a cautionary tale of trust misplaced and a reminder that not all professionals have your best interests at heart.

Armed with this knowledge, I approached Longwood Dental, only to be met with cold indifference. They denied any malpractice and implied that any changes in my appearance were my own fault. When I mentioned legal action, their demeanor shifted dramatically. I was threatened with countersuits and warned of the futility of going against their legal team. They even insinuated personal consequences if I dared to expose their malpractice.

Undeterred, I sought legal counsel, but every attempt to hold Longwood Dental accountable was met with aggressive tactics to silence me. They employed intimidation and legal maneuvering to shut down my lawsuit, leaving me drained of resources and hope.

Now, I am left with the daunting prospect of reconstructive surgery to repair the damage, a financial burden that is as overwhelming as the physical one. The path to recovery is long and fraught with surgeries that I should never have needed.

This review is my truth, my warning to others. Longwood Dental's actions have caused irreparable harm to my life, and their threats have only added to the trauma. I am sharing my story in the hope that it will prevent this from happening to anyone else. No one should have to endure this kind of suffering at the hands of those sworn to do no harm.

I have used Longwood Dental Group for many years and have always been very impressed with the technical capability of the staff and how well they treated patients.

On this recent occasion, I had been out of the country for quite a while. While away I broke a crown and my tooth. When I came back, the first thing that I did was to call the Dental Group and try and schedule an urgent visit to deal with my damaged tooth and crown that day. They were extremely accommodating and took me for an afternoon appointment. When I explained that I was leaving again the next morning, the dentist suggested that he was probably able to finish the job on that day, if I was willing to stay for a few hours.

Of course, I was willing to stay to get it all finished that day! True to his word, he did finish that day and did a fantastic job with very little pain!
I am so relieved to have my mouth in working order now. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate all of the staff's help to get me in and out in such a short time.

I am sure that many appointments do not involve the travel complications that I had, and I am very sure that very few dentists would have been as accommodating as the staff in this practice were!

Thank you to Dr. Perez and your dental assistant for fantastic work in such a short time. I strongly recommend this dental practice and Dr. Perez in particular! He and his staff are hardworking, very talented, and very kind hearted! A combination of characteristics that is hard to find.

So bad. I beg whoever is looking at this review to not go here. The billing will have you trying to get answers for months. my appointment was early august and 2 months later I'm still dealing with this. and also they put you on hold every time and after 1 min on hold it auto hangs up. don't go here

Their dentists snd hygienists are professional ; however practice is poorly managed with deceptive billing practices; communication from the dentists is poor and difficult to reach any of them, never return message; a chain like dental practice; wrongly filed insurance claim and refusing to correct their errors;

The interaction with billing person is the worst i have had to date. I had to redo a crown, no one gave me the slightest idea that due to special circumstances the operation may not be covered by insurance. I have two dental insurances to make sure out of pocket costs are manageable. I did the paperwork when setting the appointment... the person setting up the appointment not knowing I had 2 insurances told me as part of her routine that on the day I needed to pay $x amount since insurance covers only a certain amount. I reminded her I had 2 insurances. She checked my files and said I didn't need to worry and it will be covered. Sure enough the second insurance didn't pay b/c the crown was a repeat and no one told me it won't be covered. They stuck me with a large bill afterwards and not even acknowledging they had an obligation to warn me about this possibility. I could have very well gone back to the original office that did the crown and getting it done for free. But no, why inform the customer why you can milk them?
And the billing person has been worst to deal with.

I recently moved and drive 4 hrs and planned around my whole day for my appointment. I showed up 20 minutes early (of note, they called me earlier in the day to offer early appointment since he had a cancellation but I couldn't make it since I was driving up from NJ).. after being in the waiting room for 25 minutes they told me he was running 25 minutes late.... Additional 40 minutes into waiting I ask again and they finally bring me into the chair. Close to an hour later they finally start my appointment... at least after this appointment I don't need anything else for awhile. And now I get to drive home in rush hour

I usually don't leave reviews, but my experience at Longwood Dental was so upsetting that I feel I must share it. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was unwelcoming. The reception area was cluttered and the staff seemed more interested in their phones than in patients. After a 45-minute wait past my appointment time, I was hurried into a treatment room that didn't seem properly sanitized. The assistant who took my X-rays was impatient and didn't use protective measures correctly, which was concerning. The dentist barely spoke to me, didn't answer my questions, and seemed eager to finish up. I felt uncomfortable and uncared for the entire time. To make matters worse, I was overcharged for services that I'm not even sure were necessary. I had to call back multiple times to get an explanation for the charges, and I still haven't received a satisfactory answer. It's safe to say I will not be returning to Longwood Dental and I would advise others to look elsewhere for dental care.

I've been seeing Drs Kiladjian and Sirakian for a number of years and always have been more than satisficed by their competence and compassion. The front desk is professional and accommodating as possible. Today I saw Ala, an exceptional hygienist. She was the most thorough hygienist I have ever been to. She was kind and very gentle and not only did an exceptional job on scaling and cleaning my teeth, she was caring, and in detail explained my oral health. I look forward to my next visit with her.
