LongHorn Steakhouse

The salmon was.cooked perfectly. Everything was superb with one exception! The pinot grig was warm! The staff are always kind ,very helpful & attentive! Ambience is casual & laid back! I love their signature strawberry pecan salad! I forgive the warm wine this time! Here are some pics!

I had the Parmesan Crusted Chicken and it was great! But this review is to highlight our Waitress, Shontee G.! She was absolutely Amazing. There was a hiccup with my order, and she was on it! She said "No worries. I got this handled for you! All while handling 6 Tables! Food quality is a major part of success, but so is Great Customer Service, and Longhorn, y'all have a Brand in Shontee.. I'm a sucker for EXCELLENT Customer Service! Also, the atmosphere was nice and comfortable, and it made our dining experience very nice!

While in town for a meeting I was happy to see a Longhorn not too far from my hotel. Their food the consistency good and the service attentive. My favorite items are the Filet (I recommend medium rare), the burger and the chicken tenders. I only have one complaint and this appears to be widespread to every location- on the bill they calculate the tip after tax. This may not sound like much, but this is misleading and deceptive as the standard is for gratuities to be calculated pre-tax since you should never tip on government taxes. For those to take the time to read the receipt, they do disclose this, but I would bet most people don't pay attention. As a result, people who already think they are being generous with their tip are actually spending even more. I really wish Longhorn would fix sneaky practice.

I wouldn't give this place a star if i didn't have to ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! We waited over 2hrs for a party of 20 and one in our party had to walk in the dinning room to do their job and show them how to work our party! Definitely not worth it!! And walking in the place had an un inviting smell!

Well we've always loved to eat at the Longhorns in the Vista but today that has changed. First we waited for someone to acknowledge that we were even in the building. Then after being seated, we noticed there were at least five tables that needed to be bused. The dining room floor needed to be vacuumed. When we ordered we were told they were out of sweet potatoes & Brussels sprouts since this morning. What?? Then we heard a waitress say they were out of ribs !! How can a restaurant run out of food before 5pm? The service was lackluster at best. Needless to say it's time to grill our steaks at home from now on!

We usually enjoy longhorn steakhouse but this one is awful. This place looked worn out - washed up. Went for a birthday dinner on a Tuesday night - just two of us. Not surprised the place was dead on a Tuesday night but when it came time to order we were told they were out of baked and mashed potatoes. (Note: Publix is in the neighborhood) How can a restaurant call itself a steakhouse and not have potatoes? I asked the waiter if the manager was aware of it and he said he didn't know. (Sigh) We stayed but regretted it. We should have moved on to the Liberty Tap Room next door.

This place is a drag in the brand.

I like this restaurant and food is hot and fresh and good but this restaurant is little bit pricey for me. Also we have to sit for a hour to get our food. The server was nice and polite.

Mixed review for this location. The service and the bar is a 5 star service. She was friendly and did a excellent job. The food was probably a 2. The steak was cooked rare even though I asked for medium.

My husband and I are frequently in this area, approximately 90 minutes from our home, we always make it a point to stop here for lunch sometimes very late lunch. We are sit at the bar kind of people and we tend to get to know our favorite restaurants as well as our favorite servers as I'm sure you, yourself can understand. Nick is great and knows exactly what he's doing especially making my husband's favorite... a mean old-fashioned. He is quick on the draw, long on the pour shot always upbeat and a smile on his face.... however, he is no Angela. She is a downright sweetheart! Totally the bees knees, shy and unassuming. She doesn't even realize how cool she really is. I always end up getting one of the fillets because it's one of the best you can find in the area without paying with a child, one of your organs or appendages. This place has it going on with their meat distribution. I have never had a bad steak there, I have had an overcooked steak there, one single time and that would be out of at least two dozen times that we've been. Their French onion soup is legit! Although my husband did tell me tonight that Longhorns had nothing on me
They have it going on with the grill. Sweet kind knowledgeable and hustling person is preparing your drinks, yet always has time to chat, if you choose to. They will be making sure that everything is right and spot on so there is always a reason for a smile to be on your face. And this location definitely does that in spades!
Since we generally go at least twice a month, I think it's a little redundant and perhaps even a tad bit silly to say that yes indeed I would in fact, recommend this restaurant and plan on returning again. Based on algorithms, I hope when you go whatever tasty thing you ordered, I hope you are at the bar, tell em Shane and T sent you

We were one of the first parties in the restaurant. Everyone was so friendly and worked really fast! Our server was really helpful and chatted with us about local stuff to do! The food was delicious! Steak was cooked perfectly! The atmosphere in the restaurant was fun and clean! If you want familiar food, efficient service, and a clean space to enjoy your meal- check it out!
