The service- this is the main reason for the 5 stars. Our server, Juanita, ROCKED the entire time. Smooth flow, little wait time, and she honestly was so proactive with what I may need, I wanted for nothing the entire time.
The food- of course, absolutely delicious. The Outlaw steak is to die for. Added a lobster tail, and we had a meal for 2. Great tasting and good quality items.

Had chopped steak plain with loaded baked potato and Caesar salad. At the Bar very busy. The vivacious Martina provided the best care.

Great place for an affordable meal. I allay go with Flo's filet. The servers work hard to make sure you are taken care of.

We just arrived and was sat within 20 minutes (length of the line) and my husband said that we would sit in the bar so our wait would be less.... we were sat and then 5 minutes later a Martine/waitress comes to us and tells us that we will wait at least 15 minutes to get drinks or service at all. She went on and on about how they shouldn't have sat us with her and that she wouldn't be with us even for drinks for art least 15 minutes. As a customer we didn't know what to do. The restaurant sat us.. so we had no place in line and this unfriendly waitress made it clear she would not do anything for us for at least 15 minutes. Right then someone dropped bread on our table. I said, "if we have drinks and bread then a wait isn't so bad..". She said, "i won't be able to get you drinks....."
Well this is the strangest situation I have found myself in at a restaurant... kiddo was hungry so we let her eat the bread while we saw how this played out.... Martine helped everyone around us ... and at this point our kid was thirsty from the bread but obviously we weren't allowed to be served yet. And there was no bartender anywhere to be seen.... so we left... ate at jot India with amazing service and waiters that like big tips! Or just care about their customers..
In the time it took for her to tell us we wouldn't be served for 15-20 minutes she could have gotten us drinks...
No service sundays...
That's a new one....
I will update as we go...

Thank you for reaching out. This was a staff issue and getting an apology meant a lot to me. I dislike it when companies try to get excuse away the problem, or blame Covid.... thank you for standing tall, taking ownership and apologizing.....
your filet is calling my name--- if I don't eat too much of that bread first!Feb 7, 2021Previous review2 stars for yesterday's experience and honestly it's more the help then the food. When we got there we had to wait about ten minutes for anyone to show up at our table. It's covid, it happens, no big deal. Finally able to order... when she came to the table she brought semi-warm bread and we ordered drinks. At least 10-15 minutes for drinks to go with the bread...
Anyway... speed of service was consistently bad---
She brought the order.. mine was a chicken sandwich and fries. There was no ketchup or bbq for the chicken. She went to get some... AND yes, at least 5 minutes later we got the ketchup and the fries weren't warm/ hot to begin with. My sandwich was so I'm assuming they plated the fries first? Makes no sense. Anyway, I requested new fries. She literally made me take my -not eaten -fries off my plate and took them. She arrived a while later with the worst fries -
that had a microwaved taste. We ate only 1 each. I am not someone that would typically do this as I would rather not confront and just write reviews but I wanted to know if she would be honest about microwaving them and obviously she did not come clean. I'm a stay at home 50 year old woman... I know what microwaved fries are...and if not,.... she lied as there were crumbs from my sandwich. THE WORST SERVICE WE HAVE EVER RECEIVED AT THIS LONGHORN!!!!
WE CHOSE longhorn as we don't go out much and there are only a couple restaurants we feel social distance well and have good food. Longhorn was that......that is why we chose longhorn.
We WILL, however, be BACK as we love their food but this waitress will be avoided at all costs!! And if I receive cold or bad food I will NEVER trust them to bring fresh out so I will ALWAYS just return my meal at this establishment. If I wanted microwaved food I could have stayed home and as we all know-- you don't microwave fries or re fry them because they are crap then... as our experience was and the microwaved fries she brought out after making me take them off my plate (if she was worried I would eat them why not just take the whole plate as that is what most places would do and this was a bit humiliating!
WAIT I FORGOT THE BEST PART!!! when she saw the uneaten, microwaved fries and I asked her if they were microwaved and she then lied. I told her they were not good and she said, I'm sorry. The end.

We encountered rude, impolite, coarse, demeaning and condescending people who seemed to disregard any concern for the guests. Our party of 4 all are approaching 80 years old. We were spoken to in a loud, demeaning, and dismissing manner by the greeter followed by a patronizing, degrading and nonsensical lecture from the owner about time being different in the waiting area than at a table. The food here is adequate at times but inconsistent. It does not come close to the level of The Texas Road House, or The Outback.

We have been patrons of this location for more than 4 years. We were disappointed on our last trip. We always sit in the bar area. Our last trip, we were informed after we did our usual, casual run in to catch a game, they are seating in the bar area so you have to wait for them to place you. This on top of their website not working to "get in line" means waiting every time. How much less service are you offering? Either leave the bar seating alone or get your electronics working. Don't make your patrons miserable while you change the rules and don't use your tools.

Always a good time, not crazy busy. Just watch going on weekends you'll have a wait. Steak options obviously are always the route to go here. Great service, good temperatures, that warm welcome feeling every time I visit this establishment.

Not what it used to be. All steaks were cooked blue, sent back, still blue. All salad was smothered in dressing, we all couldn't eat it. Soup was cold and extremely salty. Longhorns was a favorite but the decline is strong. Every single thing we ordered was bad, except the fries and spinach dip was good. Not worth the $$$! Sorry longhorns it's been real.

Ugh, I really wanted to be leaving a 5 star review! We had a great waitress, the service was pretty fast. It was packed but we were on the waitlist so we were sat very quickly. Our waitress was incredibly kind and sweet, she gave us a lovely experience. The food came quicker than I expected, especially given how busy they are.
The reasons for my 3 star feedback are unfortunately due to quality issues with our meals. I ordered a 9oz filet prepared medium rare. I am sad to share it was not a great cut of steak - the steak seemed mushy/soupy in texture. It was incredibly odd to me, as filet is known for being a very tender cut of meat and this was far from that. The other issue was with the children's sirloin steak for my 2 year old daughter. It was her first steak and she loved it! However, we ordered it to be prepared medium, and it was very much a medium rare. I was worried she may get sick (she didn't, thank goodness!) The tenderness of her sirloin was much better than my filet that I ate a lot of hers, haha. Our waitress was so nice (and so busy running around) that I felt guilty to say anything about the steaks, so I will clearly admit here that I did not ask them about it.
I am sure we will give it another chance at some point and hopefully I can edit my review. :) like I said - I wanted to leave 5 stars!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
