Im not from england so i was looking for a good breakfast. This place was just around the corner from my hotel. Classic English breakfast done very well. Cozy old school Cafe. Busy, but people seem to eat and are on there way so there ever seemed to be a wait. There's no rush from the staff to leave either I sat for quite a while after eating and drank my tea. Staff are very nice and attentive. They also serve an array of sweets, sandwiches and hot meals. Definitely recommend this place.

This cafe is located quite close to Oxford St, and was our favourite spot for a proper English Breakfast the last two times we visited London.
Service is speedy, and cheerful. I usually opt for the Traditional Full English Breakfast, a platter consisting of a Fried Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Grilled Tomato, Mushrooms, and a Hashbrown. Totally delicious!
Everything is cooked to order, so unlike most take out Cafes in London, the Bacon isn't cold and limp, and the sausages are crispy and juicy.
Will return on my next visit for sure. Here's a video I took showing the goods:

Let's start with the service, exceptional and speedy. It's really is quite impressive the speed that the food arrives, were talking seconds.
full English breakfast £3.50... it even comes with coffee and toast.
Quality is very high, great sausage, thick bacon, well cooked.
not a huge amount of eye candy, just trade people and lots of them in and out all day.
the Portland cafe has it cornered. worth a visitHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Rebecca D.Bethnal Green, United Kingdom2633Jan 14, 2014
I am feeling in quite the good mood today. However, don't think that I am just being generous to this little cafe. It might be little but they serve big breakfasts inside. The Full English is a real bargain at 3.50 and comes with all of the important pieces - thick, delicious sausage, crispy bacon and heavenly beans. Those were the first three things that got cleared out of my plate and by the time I finished up I was absolutely fueled for my day ahead.
The place is quite comfy and welcoming, with a big board for all the specials and lots of cute tables, spread around.
In addition to being a great breakfast spot, the guys here also have amazing sandwiches for lunch. Enormous and heavily stuffed with goodness, they're a good choice if you're starving.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (bravob…)London, United Kingdom283675Mar 4, 2010

A normal place to have lunch. I have come here a few times from work (My office is bang on top of this place). The pasta tends to finish/get removed from the hot plates by around 2.30pm which is a bummer if you are hoping for a late Italian lunch.
Service is fast - though I haven't sat in. No fuss.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (filcha…)Copenhagen, Denmark3058292778Feb 9, 2009
Mmm, nice bacon sandwiches, too strong tea. You don't get the sheer quantity of bacon that we are used to from breakfasting at Fiori (when our office was in Leicester Square), but the bread options are nicer here. So, probably good for my new slimline bacon and egg diet
