The Little Gym

It's been five years since my last review of Little Gym and I only have more stellar comments and feedback for this wonderful facility! Little Gym is seriously one of my children's favorite places, and mine. The staff is beyond friendly and accommodating. They get to know your kids (and you!), and they teach and instruct in a caring, professional manner. Both my kids are so comfortable with everyone on staff there, especially Claudia, Paul and Mike. Over the last five years, my daughter has excelled in gymnastics at Little Gym. She learned to do a forward roll here and now can do tricks on her own on the balance beam! She's come so far because of the dedication the coaches give to their students. I recently signed my 1-year-old up for mommy-and-me classes which she loves. The bubbles, the music, the activities, all while getting limber and learning new and exciting moves is so fun for us both. The facility is clean and welcoming, and you can watch your children in action through the glass windows in the lobby. I held my daughter's birthday party here in March and she had the best time! And the staff went above and beyond to make it special for her. There was minimal work for me, as they handled all the balloons, party ware and drinks and it was tons of fun for all the kids. They truly went above and beyond to make sure my daughter had the best time. Little Gym is by far one of our all-time favorite spots in Livingston for our girls!

I highly recommend Little Gym. Coach Michael and Coach Paul are terrific teachers and role models. They not only coach the kids on building their gymnastics skill sets, but they also build the kids' self-confidence and positive approach to life. My son is learning far more than gymnastics here!

The Little Gym offers a lot of flexibility, too, with make up classes and the ability to switch days, if needed.

Five stars all around to the Little Gym in Livingston.

It is a little tricky to find if you have never been since it's location rests in a previous store (marcias attic) but it is a really cool place.

We just had my sons 4th birthday party at the Little Gym and everything was well organized. From the moment I booked the party with Vinny, he was extremely helpful with the planning process. We were very satisfied that it was so easy to put together.

Arriving at the party we were greeted by two friendly young ladies who directed us where to hang our coats and quickly took the presents and goodie bags and secured them for us. They set up the tables with the decorations and plates and silverware and organized the cake and cupcake tray.

The kids loved having the girls play with them out in the gym area. The 'blow up' bouncy was a hit and the activities they did were really fun and made all the children play together nice. It was a perfect amount of time, not too long but not too short and gave the kids enough playtime as well as time to eat pizza (that we had delivered) and cupcakes.

The staff was very accommodating and my Son had an awesome party. I highly recommend the little gym for your child's special occasion.

Both of my children have been taking classes here for years and experienced almost every age level and type of class offered. We have done multiple birthday parties here, as well. I have nothing but GREAT things to say about the classes, parties and staff. They are all phenomenal and some of the greatest people I have ever encountered working with children. If you are looking for a way to get your younger child moving or an older child into gymnastics, I highly recommend. The class sizes are great and they will work with you to find the perfect fit of class for child. There is more one-on-one attention than in any other environment, and as a parent you will feel extremely confident putting your children in this environment.

Billy loves his Sunday morning class with coach Mike. Coach Mike has a natural way about him and is very intuitive to the kids needs. We are so glad we found this place! Our little guy is getting stronger and learning so much!

This place is great. I have been taking the oldest girl I nanny for here for over a year (she is 3.5 yo). We started in the parent and me classes, which she loved. The program definitely works on bonding with your child while also helping them become independent. At the age of 3, she graduated to the older program where she goes in by herself with her classmates, and the parents/caregivers watch from behind the window. The older program is definitely more into actual gymnastics, and she has learned a lot. They even do little routines as a show at the end of the semester, which is super cute.

The younger child, 18 months, has also been doing the parent and me classes for a number of months now. She looks forward to it all week and asks for the teacher, Paul. He is fabulous. My kids are very particular, but they both love him.

I highly recommend their programs and wouldnt send the kids anywhere else. All of the parents I know with children in the programs feel the same, and many children love it so much that they do multiple classes.

The place is huge and fun for kids but where it's huge, the kids look like little cupcakes in the room. Can be intimidating for the really young kids and then you have the option to sit behind the glass windows/doors to view your child.

When my 3 year old went to the gymnastics class, she hated the hokey music of following instructions in the beginning of the class and really want to get to the gymnastics equipment (which I find most kids like from observing) plus the separation was unbearable for her even though she could see me through the windows.

The jazzy bugs - dance class (which really is 30 min gymnastics, 15 min tap and 15 ballet)...give a good exposure to different dance elements but don't expect a high quality dance instructor to produce dancers....it's all about the fun.

We love this place! Mr. Paul is such a great teacher. We gave our daughter her first formal birthday party today. She turned 6. The girls had a blast at the party. The classes are very good, and the schedule is really great.

I nanny for three children and ive been comming here with them for quite some time. The place is clean and such a safe environment for kids to jump and explore. Paul is an excellent intructor who knows his stuff and is great a interacting with the children ( even the shy clingers like my own little guy). He makes learning fun and every week he has some sort of theme during group time that promotes learning and warms the kids up for a work out! And-- surprisingly enough, the kids arent the only ones learning. Paul teaches parents how to support kids and safely assist them in tricks, while still promoting independence and confidence for the little ones. I also love that he teaches parents and nannys step by step way of doing tricks with kids so that they dont get injured. Over all its a safe environment for kids to be kids, and they learn plenty of gross and fine motor skills!
