Little Bee Academy

They moved locations from 9801 Hayvenhurst Ave, Northridge to 10028 Mission Hills 91345. Great Daycare, years of experience with a great preschool program. They currently are enrolling, if interested and would like a tour give them a call.

Little Bee Academy Northridge is the most wonderful place. It was by luck I found them, but we literally hit the jackpot.

From the moment I walked in the door (pre-covid) the environment was warm and welcoming. My son was only 10 months old, not walking but very loving. I have watched my son learn colors, numbers and letters. He learned to share. He has had fun with art projects and water play (during the summer). He talks non-stop and so curious now, they encouraged him talk and really communicate.

Potty training was scary as a first time mom of a boy but they made it a flawless teamwork transition. He was fully potty trained by 2 1/2.

My son loves playing with all the other kids and it truly feels like a community. He runs in to see his friends every day with a giant smile on his face.

Lastly, there were days that I was feeling overwhelmed as a mom, I didn't know how to handle a behavior situation at home and I felt I could talk to them and really absorb their advice. Just that little advice or encouragement to me was priceless!

Thank you Nana, Sheena and the rest of the Little Bee teachers my son is lucky to have had you in all of our lives and we look forward to coming back to visit for many years to come!

My children have both been going to this daycare since a few months old, 6 years later and we do not plan on leaving! My children have always felt comfortable and loved coming here everyday. The staff aren't just staff, they make everyone feel like family and make sure they put the children's best interest first ALL the time. I would 100% recommend this daycare to anyone who asks. Thank you Brenda and Sheena for being part of raising my children ! I'm glad I found you guys years ago !

I don't even know where to begin because there are so many wonderful things about this day-care. My daughter has been going there since she was 2 years old, she is 6 1/2 years old now. Having my daughter at Little Bee Academy has been a wonderful thing for both of us. My daughter has learned a lot, she is very well taken care of, and I've never felt like I had to worry about her while in Brenda's care. These ladies truly care for all of their children as if they were part of their family.


Then ever since this horrible COVID-19 has been around, Brenda has been amazing with helping me out and other parents with their children. She opened her doors to take care of some children and they take all the steps to make sure that they are all safe. I don't know what I would've done if I didn't have Brenda to help me with the care of my daughter. They take care of them as a daycare would but also try their best but, do a wonderful job helping the school aged kids with their zoom classes and with all of their online schooling.

I would highly recommend this licensed daycare to anyone who is looking for a loving, clean, fun, and very amazing day-care!!

I really wish I could keep my daughter there for many more years, and if I had any other children in the future I would definitely leave them there with these wonderful people that love their job and it shows

I couldn't be more happier and lucky to have found this place at the right time with such little notice. My daughter has been attending Little Bee Academy Northridge since she was 1 year old and now she's 4 1/2. This is her last summer before attending ETK.
My daughter loves Nana and all her friends. The kids are well tended and they teach them to make good choices, be good friends and develop positive social skills. They learn through role playing and their thematic units each month.
I knew exactly what the theme was by my daughter's conversations with me. She has learned to much in addition to her vocabulary and Sheena doing an AMAZING job teaching them sign language. My daughter loves sign language and has learned at least 50 words in sign language.
I can't tell all that they do! I wouldn't not be able to finish, but from playing, having fun, learning routines, making friends, making good choices, yoga, sign language, math skills, reading skills, reading books, water activities, and celebrating all holidays and birthdays. My daughter has had the best time of her young life!

This is definitely the best daycare I've ever found so far. Brenda and her team are the most professional and responsive all the time!The kids here are outgoing , social and friendly, my son got his friends here very quickly. Also, he had his wonderful birthday party here with all other kids. Brenda prepared everything very carefully and thoughtful, from the gifts she prepares, we could tell she knows him very well even he only had been there for one week! I trust them sooooo much and feel we are blessed to find this place! Highly recommend to everyone who is looking for a daycare that you can trust all the time!

Little Bee Academy is the BEST day care EVEEEERRRR!!! My daughter has been in their care since he was 2 1/2 months. I can hardly express how amazing and wonderful this place has been and how special it is for us. My husband and I are thrilled to continue our daughters care and education for the years to come. The teachers and staff have created a great program for all the children. I love the seasonal events and outdoor activities they have to offer. I love how they encourage teamwork and fun for the staff as well. The monthly decorations are awesome too. I look forward to my daughters monthly folder with his art pieces. It's heartwarming to see how much they love my baby and everyone's child to be quite honest. Thank you Little Bee Academy for reassuring this mama bear that you'll continue to care for our children as if they were yours. I highly recommend.

(i really wish we had heart eye emoji's for regular keyboards....) I'm SO happy i found this little academy! :) i was in a pickle and so happy they had an opening as our original childcare cancelled on us! :(

As soon as i spoke to Miss Sheena, there was something about her voice over the phone, that i kninda knew this was yogin to work out. she sounded (and is) so sweet and just totally put my mind at ease. i had visited a few other daycares, but as i'd walk in, i would get a "NO WAY!" vibe - which is the COMPLETE opposite vibe when i stepped into Little Bee Academy. Miss Sheena showed me around and i knew this was the right place for my munchky! :) My little munchky also took to Miss Sheena right away, which i was surprised with, cos little munchky could be picky, but i think Miss Sheena is a baby whisperer cos after the third day of care, she was already literally reaching for her and trying to get out of her carseat for her! (what am i? chopped liver???, pcsh, whatevs.) :)

i would totally recommend this school to anyone in need of a great daycare! It's family run and every member i've spoken to or met are super sweet. They really put me at ease and i have no worries during the day while my little munchky is away from me. I wish i would've known of this school sooner!

This has to be the best family owned child care!
As a first time mom I was on the edge of putting my daughter in a daycare, until I came upon this place of course. Miss Sheena & Mrs Brenda treat you as if you were family!! They are absolutely amazing & so so welcoming.
I had my daughter in a daycare before this one and she would hate it, I brought her to this one and she absolutely loves it! She cannot wait to get her backpack on & get to school.
My daughter learned her numbers and ABC's with these wonderful people.
Sheena, Brenda & the other staff really know they're way with kids because the kids LOVE them. You will always see everyone smiling and in a happy mood.
I recommend this daycare to anyone, I promise you will NOT be disappointed!

My son stayed at little bee for about 2 months before we moved for work reason. This is the first time he started daycare and got very smooth transition. The kids are always clean and taken care of. The staff are always friendly and smiling. My son had his birthday party and gifts, Christmas party and gifts, and also farewell party and gifts. I can't really think of anything negative. I hope our future daycare can be as good as little bee.
