We stopped by this place to get a quick dinner and will definitely be back for takeout. We told the lady (I think the owner) that we were limited on time and she went out of her way to make sure we were served quickly as well as getting our check taken care of.
I asked her recommendation between the BBQ pork with snow peas and the Moo Goo Gai Pan. She recommended the latter and I absolutely loved it! The chicken and sauce were delicious and the vegetables were cooked perfectly-super fresh! My husband had the salt and pepper wings and they were amazing! He loved the thinly sliced peppers and carrots that were served along with it.
It's not a fancy place but it's fine-the food and service were great. Give it a try!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Will S.San Diego, CA67032Jan 25, 2024

The Salt and Pepper Wings are some of the cheapest and best I've had in San Diego. Looks are deceiving try this place out

Linlee's is near and dear to my heart. I have been coming here since I was a little girl and I'm glad they survived through the pandemic. I was fortunate enough to bring my own son here to pick up some take out. We ordered the superstars which were veggie chow mein, salt and pepper wings, honey sesame shrimp, and cream cheese wontons. Each entree comes with a choice of white rice or plain fried rice. We were able to get both. The veggie chow mein comes with a plethora of vegetables including carrots, bean sprouts, bamboo chutes, broccoli, green bell peppers etc. The flavor is savory without holding grease. The noodles were nice and soft with a nice bite. The cream cheese wontons never have a chance of lasting for 5 minutes because they are so good. Again, they don't retain grease so the crunch of the wonton and the soft cream cheese is so satisfying. The chicken wings stay nice and crunchy on the way home. The sesame honey shrimp is delicious especially when paired with the veggie chow mein. And for dessert try out the almond cookies. Please take a chance and support this small business!

I had kung pow Tofu last night and it was absolutely delicious the service at the front was very quick and polite the in side was so nice unfortunately they are not having anyone dine-in for now but it seems to have a nice ambiance to it, that said with the price at Only 10$ for the meal the proportion was perfect.
Thank you

Never disappoints! Service is always amazing. The family is so sweet! The salt and pepper wings are the best I've ever had. Seriously. Get the wings.

Always good and fresh. Only open for takeout because they can't get people to work. Please support this amazing family.

I found a gem in San Diego. My boyfriend lives by this place and it's very decent. I may biased , I love my local spot in riverside. Wok In kitchen... but this place did impress. I still love my spot ...but this is my 2nd choice and my boyfriends 1st choice in San Diego. I ordered the curry shrimp , house fried rice 3$ extra shrimp. And orange chicken combo. (Fried rice/dumpling/egg roll. ) and the price is not bad at all and they give a nice portion. The 4 starts it's for the wait time. But I understand why..... I kept seeing customers after customers come in. The lady was friendly and so was the cook. I won't mind next time for the wait time. But it can be inconvenient.

It's just OK Chinese food... they never answer the phone and it takes ages for it to be ready.
It's our "Plan B" spot but not the best in the areaHelpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
