Here at Lilly's on the Lake we are dedicated to great food and fantastic views. We have a patio that overlooks the beach of Lake Minneola. You can choose to sit inside, outside, or in our full service (but separated) bar. We have live music from local bands. Once you're done eating we welcome you to take a stroll on our beachfront or a dip in the lake. You can even choose from our catalogue of rental equipment to keep the fun going all day long. We have bicycles and Surrey bikes for your enjoyment!

Q:
Lilly's on the Lake looks amazing. I am wondering if this would be suitable for a first date? Looks like it would be with the ability to go to the beach after dinner.
A:
Better for a drink not a meal and the beach area is small and best just for a walk or to sit. Better meals at Pepe's Cantina or CBC, then walk along the lake trail.

Lily's on the Lake in Clermont
We had the pleasure of dining with you a couple weeks ago. The setting was gorgeous and the food was "good", however, $7.50 for a Mich Ultra and $10.00 charge for a basket of fries was way too much! We eat out often and have found the typical price for a beer of this caliber is about$4.50 and because we ordered the onion rings for the upcharge, along with the fries, it really made the side almost $13.00.
So, with that said for a group of four, we ordered an appetizer of beer cheese pretzels, 2 sandwiches, four beers and two upcharged fries/onion rings, and our bill before tip was $90.00. So needless to say, even though the view was great and food good. We won't recommend Lily's to anyone unless they want to be overcharged or overcharged for everything.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

We've been here twice now, and the food has been pretty good, the water view is nice, and the staff have always been attentive and personable. It can get a little busy here, especially on the weekends. I would recommend that you want to have a good experience here, you will need to put your patience hat on. When it gets crazy busy service can be a little slow, but it's clear that everyone is hustling and seems to be doing their best.

Great location
Fantastic view
Over priced
Poor food (seriously McD's fish sandwich is better)
Service - they tried... but saying "sorry" over and over and over doesn't cut it.
$18 fish sandwich served as little chunks
*the bun was good
The fries were like bottom of the bag - tiny pieces
My companions food didn't come out with mine (20 minutes later) and then was told "we are out of avocados"
Sweet Tea was not sweet (thought Florida was part of the South)
Never going back.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Feb 24, 2022
Beautiful view. Charming location. Chilly beer.
We arrived. One table had people seated. The bar had several people seated. We stood at the sign indicating we should wait to be seated. And we did. Three employees walked past us. The fourth came out of the restroom and asked if we'd been taken care of.
Ummm... If we'd been "taken care of," we wouldn't be standing next to this sign, right?
She heads back to the kitchen and someone else arrives telling us what a horrible place it is to work. Well, you get the point. She took our orders and I found her attitude to be very off-putting, and borderline combative. Maybe she realized it and took an extra 15 minutes to cool down, because that's how long it took to get our drinks.
Food came, and it was absolutely okay. We had a fairly good sampling of the menu, and were pretty much convinced it was freezer-fryer-serve. Nothing special, but not bad, just okay.
Fast forward a half an hour and our waitress eventually arrived with our check. When it came to the finances, she was all charm. 5 people , 4 meals, 3 drinks, 2 appetizers, 1 tab: $130.
Learn from my mistakes, eat somewhere else!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 5, 2022
This has been on my "want to try" list for quite a while. I've been a bit hesitant because it does not have good reviews, but I know everyone has different opinions and I went with an open mind. We were immediately seated and were able to sit out on the deck. They were not very busy, and I saw at least 5 servers. The deck is screened in and a beautiful view of the lake. Bonus points because there is a no smoking sign out there.
We proceeded to wait for 15 minutes until anyone stopped in to take our drink orders, although others around us were being seated and attended to.
We had given it four more minutes and we were going to get up and walk out. A server stopped in with a minute to spare and asked if anyone had waited on us and apologized profusely that there was a mixup and proceeded to take our drink orders as well as food orders. I was interested in the buffalo chicken avocado flatbread and asked how spicy it was. He said it was medium spicy, but in general not too bad. My back up option was wings and he told me they were out of wings as well as out of steak for tacos etc. He said he would put "go light" on the buffalo sauce and I went ahead with that. We ordered sweet tea which was barely sweetened.
My partner finished his tea and the server walked past us without acknowledging his empty glass on the table's edge.
After waiting about 15 minutes, my partner's fish sandwich and fries were delivered and the cook/server (not sure who it was) had a shocked look on his face and said "oh we thought your flatbread had already been delivered. Let me go get that started, do you want this now (fish sandwich) or shall I hold off?" I told him to leave it because who wants a sandwich sitting under a warmer. His fish sandwich looked like it was chopped up fillet and was not blackened like he ordered. The fries were literally nubs with less than 25% of them being full size fries. Either the bottom of a bag or they make their own and they're all very short, I mean like an inch long lol. (See Philip E review for photos)
He was finished with his entire meal before my flatbread came out and I was then told they were out of avocado so it was just a buffalo chicken flatbread. Wouldn't you think they would've told me that before they started it given that it was already after my partner's food was delivered?!? The server was again very apologetic and I might add now that he was creepy, in our face so much that it was uncomfortable. He bent down and got right in our face every time he spoke to us like he was a child asking permission for something. The server told me they would discount my check since this is not the kind of service they wish to provide with serving the entrée differently than described. I said that this was our first time here and it has not been a good impression so far, trying to not take out my frustration on him but the whole experience had been horrible. He went in and told the manager who came out and apologized some more and asked how the fish sandwich was and my partner somewhat declined to mention anything and I said no go ahead and tell him what your thoughts are. So he said the fish was chopped and not blackened didn't even mention the fries. The manager got a little defensive but maintained professionalism. And again apologized and asked if he could make him another meal or what he could do. We just asked for more tea. I will say my flatbread was decent tasting, but disappointing without the avocado of course. When we got the bill they had remove the flatbread which was nice. We saw the teas were four dollars each! Almost as much as a beer which is six dollars. One last thing is sitting on the beach as we were, there were at least two women in thong bikinis walking around getting out of their boats and jet skis etc. Unless you like to see big butts while you're eating, I would suggest staying inside. But most importantly I would really suggest you take your business elsewhere. Overpriced, poor service and low quality.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Dec 15, 2020
You can't beat the view this location offers. Come when the weather is nice and after you eat spend time down by the water. There's a tire swing, swimming hole and pier to walk out on and fish. We even saw an otter swim by to entertain us. It worked.
We ordered burgers and fries, both regular (coated and fried) and sweet waffles that were amazing.
Service was fast once we got to our table. It took awhile to be noticed when we got there, but that was because the only server was also the hostess. She was excellent. Service was fast and friendly.
Don't let the reviews scare you. Try is for yourself and see. We are so glad we did!Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

Cute place right on Lake Minneola and walking distance to downtown. We came here for some afternoon coffee but we can see how many people were enjoying a late lunch out on their lakefront patio or a drink at the bar. We were not fans of the coffee, it took a while to order and then it was a bit cold. Maybe that is not really their strength?
We took our coffees down to the lakeshore tiny beach and enjoyed the nice breeze. They also have picnic tables available out on the lawn. So looks like there are many outside eating options.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

What a beautiful view of the lake. This restaurant had a small menu, and in a group of 15 people everyone loved their meals. They were very accommodating to our large group and managed to help us quick and efficient.
The food all had such delicious flavor that we were all picking from each other's plates to get to taste it. It became a family style with everyone eating from each other's.
We will definitely be coming back here next time we're in town!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Sep 10, 2021
I want to begin with the positive and say I loved the location and the music. But after ordering over $200.00 worth of food for my family of 6 (which seemed very overpriced, I know but it's was more for the experience for our son because he wanted to go to the "beach"). As I was saying, I ordered one Mahi taco and one steak taco; the waitress was very attentive and pleasant even further explained things on the menu; her name was Esperanza. All was good, and the food came, and I was enjoying my Mahi taco until I nearly choked on a large piece of plastic! Of course, I was immediately caught off guard and upset and was no longer hungry only after taking three bites; we immediately notified the manager on duty; his name was Randy; he was sympathetic and apologized and said he would take care of it. So when I got the bill is was assuming he took off the tacos and an additional percent for the inconveniences for his chef's careless mistake. However, to my surprise, he only took off the tacos and informed me that the cook "Luis" was only human, and errors happened that he could only take off the tacos. And he would not do anything else! To call his boss if we have a problem!
I'm absolutely flabbergasted at the horrible customer service the managers have!
I would give a 0 star if possible!!!!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - May 22, 2021
2 stars is only for the atmosphere and view. I wanted to love this place, but the flavorless wings (with noticeable feathers still attached) and weak drinks forced me not to. We were here for the Reggae Festival and ordered takeout to enjoy the live bands and food, but the bands did not disappoint. This place is PRIME real estate, with the community support, but the food is horrible! Next event we'll bring our own food. I noticed several families with packed coolers. Lesson learned. This could have been a perfect day. Nice weather, perfect breeze off the lake, live reggae, friendly people, but an empty stomach.
