Lillo's Tomato Pies

I tried Lillo's for the first time yesterday! I'm so glad that I did. The service was quick and efficient. They were friendly and seemed to enjoy working there. The food was delicious! My group ordered a plain pie, a mustard pie, cheesesteak, and fries. Everything was delicious but the cheesesteak, in my opinion, can't be beat! We will be back.

Best cheesesteak I've ever had. Ever. And I've had A LOT of cheesesteaks.

The standard cheesesteak comes with beef and cooper sharp cheese. That's it. If you want salt, pepper, ketchup, or anything else, you have to request it. (They have a printed list of options at the counter.) I ordered mine the way I like it: with fried mushrooms and onions (plus salt and pepper). I left the usual house cheese: cooper sharp.

Despite being lunch time, I was able to find a seat and get my order quickly. However, the restaurant filled to capacity while I was there, and it could be challenging to get a table during busy times. (They do a lot of takeout business and have little seating.) The vibe is a 70s/80s no-frills pizzeria. The people working there are going a mile a minute but are friendly and helpful.

I digress. Back to the food. At $20, the cheesesteak wasn't cheap, but man, was it worth it! The juice from the meat combined with the cheese to create a magical, flavorful sauce. The fresh sesame seed roll was overflowing with so much meat and cheese that I had to eat about half of the filling with a fork before I could pick it up and eat it properly, and I still used over a dozen napkins!

I am not a light eater by any means. I can easily polish off a standard pizzeria cheesesteak in one sitting. I was just able to eat half of this monstrous sandwich. I brought the rest home to enjoy later. (Can't wait!)

I've meant to visit this establishment since they opened, but life always got in the way. I'm glad that I finally made it. I will definitely be back- to try their legendary Trenton tomato pie (yum!) and for another cheesesteak (double yum!)

I tried this highly talked about pizza shop and found it b to be just ok. My rating would be a 7. Flavor not the best lack of cheese on a extra cheese pizza.
The cheese steak well is not filled fir the high $15 dollars.
Anyone can talk about a place but until 1k or more like the place your all talk to boost sales

I went to Lilos today I ordered 2 cheese steaks with fried onions light mayo salt pepper and Ketchup I must say it was quite disappointing it was a very bad after taste.




I also order an Italian hoagie it was awesome it was the best I have ever tasted in my life . You could taste all the meats all the flavors went with each other very impressive. I will differently be back there for the hoagie.

Amazing cheesesteak made with a generous amount of quality meat, the right combination of cheese on a seeded roll. One sandwich with a side of fries feed three of us. We added fried onions which were thick and perfectly done.

Service is fair, they were rude towards my friend who called the order in. I've heard others complain about the staff.

The place is small but typical inside, nothing too fancy.

I called in an order on a Tuesday evening around 4:30. The order was ready when I got there. I wanted to sit down and it eat there, but it was very cold inside. I ended up eating in the car.

The service was pleasant and quick.

The cheesesteak was great. It was large with amazing bread. They loaded on the cheese and that's always good for me! The meat definitely has garlic in it, which I found surprising but enjoyable.

I'll likely return and give the pizza a try!

I had a cheesesteak at Lillos after I heard so much hype on how amazing they are. Well mine must have been broken because it was so overwhelming with cheese that it tasted like fondue. There were bites I had no evidence of taste of any meat. The bread was hella good but the rest was not worth any more bites. I threw it in the trash. I really am so confused on why the fuss.

I did give 2 star because their pizza was good.

This one is an easy one! Pizza is amazing, cheesesteaks are amazing, and staff is amazing. 8.4 pizza from some guy, 9.1 cheesesteak ...and it is VERY good pizza and cheesesteaks! We stopped in on a nice motorcycle ride and my wife and I got 2 pepperoni, 1 cheese 1 white, 2 drinks. We were stuffed! BUT we saw the cheesesteaks coming and and we're like, I gotta try that. We ordered 2 to go! The cheesesteak is not cheap, but it's HUGE...16 Oz of meat! My 15 year old son, my wife and I split 1 for dinner! We have the other one for dinner tonight!
Met the owner, really nice guy! You gotta google them and hear the story of how they started a few years ago!
Can't wait to go back!

Got here at 11:05AM on a Thursday (5 min after opening) and there were already 4 tables with people waiting for their food. Popular lunch spot.
Waited about 25-30 mins for my to go order. Loved the flavor of the cooper sharp cheese on the cheesesteak. The bread is a bit dense and bready, I like mine more airy, but still a wonder cheesesteak packed full of flavor. The cheese fries were interesting, shaped like a potato chip. It's a standard cheddar cheese fries, I enjoyed it.

Food is excellent large sandwiches plenty of meat. Just a little too pricey for me. Cheesesteak and chicken cheesesteaks were excellent so was the plain tomato pie.
