Lighthouse Car Care

I was a long way from home on June 28, 2013, when I noticed a nail head in my tire was causing a slow leak. I stopped in at the Parkside store at Silver Lake and the nice guy working the bottle return booth directed me to Lighthouse Car Care to repair my tire.

I pulled up on a busy Friday morning, all three bays were occupied. But the worker stopped what he was doing and told me he could fix my tire in ten minutes.
He pulled my wheel, dismounted the tire, patched it from the inside, and remounted the tire and wheel.

$16 covered it all and I was out the door in 15 minutes.
It appears they also do oil changes and all types of auto repair. The have an automated car wash bay and a couple of self-serve wand car wash bays.

Just east of US 31 highway at the Hart exit.

This company and their technicians are tremendous. We live in the Kansas City area and have a house on Lake Michigan, in Shelby, MI that we come to during the summer months. My warning light let me know that I needed an oil change for my 2012 Honda Odyssey. I had the work done at Lighthouse Car Care today, 6/12/23. I called ahead for an appointment. They said to come by and they will work me in. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes! These professional automobile technicians are efficient and know what they are doing. Upon checking out, I expressed my appreciation to them for their business being there to serve "out of town" people like me, and do it in such a professional and expert manner. An additional benefit is that the price to do the oil change with the recommended synthetic oil, and the oil filter, was less money that I would have paid from the place we have our car serviced in Overland Park, Kansas. I had them do an oil change for me last summer, in 2022. They were just as efficient. I used their self service car wash at that time. I saved a lot of money vs. the expensive drive through car washes in the "big cities." They do such a good job that it is my hope that they stay in business forever, so I can continue to have them service my vehicle when I am in the area!!!

I needed a tire for my car which was unique. Craig called all around looking for it until he found it. The Went above and beyond in helping me out. Would definitely recommend.

Having the unfortunate need of their tire services 2 years in a row. I would recommend them and their friendly and knowledgeable service.

Have had good experiences with a variety of problems..all wheel, tire or torque related...but don't feed the vaccums outside the wash bays...you get about 4 minutes for 75 cents..

Love these guys. Have gone above and beyond for me. Even coming to my home to inspect an oil leak ( turned out to be mice). They are the best oil/tire service in two counties.
