Dirty Paws Pet Grooming

I have been following them on Instagram for a long time. I finally brought my littles in to get groomed as things have fallen through the cracks too many times. I created an online account and booked two appointments, which require deposits. I received a return call to let me know only one deposit is needed for the two of them.

My littles came out looking and smelling fantastic. I could not get full pictures, but one of these days I will. My puppers already have their next appointment scheduled and I hope this is the place they get to go to every six to eight weeks.

3 Yrs ago, I gave Dirty Paws Pet Grooming 4 starts because Evy and Letty (owner), were very professional & patient with my poodles & Golden Retriever Mix. Sadly, because of DAVID, a very contentious groomer who refuses to acknowledge his poor grooming skills, ill mannerism & inferior service, I'm dropping the rating to 1 star. Pricing is great, but not when a groomer is rude, sarcastic & chastising my son and I. We showed him a picture of Letty's previous grooming job, same dog, David would squint & say the pic was too blurry. I'd give him clear instruction in what we wanted and he would repeat the instructions in a condescending manner. At which point, I reminded David that I am the paying customer and he is providing a service; mediocre grooming job we still paid for-overpaid at that! I was uphauled at his behavior and lack of regard. We had to take time out of work to go back to somewhat fix his substandard work. After leaving a message, same day he was picked up, my husband still called the following day because we didn't hear back. David was rude on the phone with my husband and told us to bring the dog back the following day at 10a. That being said, David knew we would be there, yet he delayed in greeting us, we waited 5 minutes before he came to the counter, then it took us 10 minutes w/rude & obnoxious interruptions to get the instructions spelled out, and 30 minutes to finally get the "results" we ended up with. Our dog was getting anxious and nervous, so I ended the session, thanked David, and left. It was a very poor and horrible experience for us and our dog. I'm afraid of retaliation on my poor poodle, unless David is not there. I doubt that Letty would retaliate and risk the reputation of her grooming business. Sorry Letty, but David does not belong there.

Unfortunately from the start I should have realized that my experience with Dirty Paws was not going to be great.

1. While Booking my appointment the receptionist had to ask redundant questions that she already asked.

2. While making the appointment - there was someone in the background correcting the individual taking down my pets information fixing the errors from the receptionist.

3. During the Booking - the phones for this business kept going out. (See other reviews)

4. 20 Minutes before my scheduled appointment they called to let me know that the groomer called out.

This place is absolutely terrible. If you care about your pet do not send them here. We would have gotten a better result hosing her down in the yard. They barely trimmed, didn't clean her teeth, and they attempted to clip her nails but cut one way too short, hurting her, and now there is blood being tracked throughout our house. Wish I could do less than one star.

I have been bringing my dogs here since they were puppies. They've always been treated amazing and their grooms have always been awesome! So much so I have referred many people, who also, have been so happy with their service.
If it was so easy, everyone would do it!

While our Milla loved coming here and she looks great every time it is IMPOSSIBLE to ever get anyone on the phone to make an appointment I have called days in a row and at different times and I am unable to book her an appointment. I do need a more reliable groomer for her. Hopefully we will be able to book her in some time in the future.

FIVE STARS!! Letty is amazing and made my dogs look sooo cute. I had a hard time finding a groomer because my go to ones always get booked so easily so I've been trying out new places. The ones I have gone too most recently have me unsatisfied with their work. Now, I can say that I have dirty paws as my #1 choice for pet grooming services!

To the business owner...ur friend on the nxtdoor app said u were horrified by all the talk of ur business -dirty paws..Negative talk too..not cool to come here and try to minimize the incident I WITNESSED at YOUR business for YES 15-20MIN enough time to see what I seen , speak up for the dog, AND it's owner, tell ur employees what should have been done, get my dogs and leave! TRAUMATIZED so much I had to write e review here cuz it's not right to treat clients the way I seen them treated at dirty paws grooming . And since u all felt that the girl yelling and hurting the dog did nothing wrong cuz it was dogs fault she cut its quick, yanked dogs arm over & hard cuz dog was literally crying to get away from her, it's too bad I have to reply to ur unprofessional comment. One would think ud be re-evaluating ur staff but it seems ud rather re-evaluate customers instead!

I'm sorry, but over 4 hours to groom a little shih tzu?? Nope, never again! GET MORE HELP!!

Our two Airedales were just a mess. They had not been properly groomed in quite a while. The women at Dirty Paws were great with them. They actually look like Airedales! For the time they spent on them, it was great value. Will definitely be going back regularly.
