I called for a cab after arriving in town on Transbridge lines. The lady whoever she is said it would be a 30 minute wait. After 30 minutes I called back and a guy answers saying they are going through a shift change. It was over an hour before I was picked up and I don't believe that lady dispatcher gave anyone my ride.

Two days later I need to get back to transbridge and the lady again tells me its a 25 minute wait. This was 8am that I called, at 8:30 there is still no taxi after a second call I got a taxi. I don't know how they do things in Bethlehem but if I call for a taxi... I need one. The driver said she never put the call out for my ride until the second time I called. Don't tell me 25 or 30 minutes as a default.

Just horrible customer service and unprofessional.

I am from New York, I am going to call a taxi. The operator is very bad. This is something I have never seen before. She did not listen to me and finished hanging up the phone. This is very rude! Very rude! She also said that they are always very busy! she don't care about people like us. I am really disappointed! No one teaches her how to respect people!

Sick of this company...tired of their drivers speeding up & down my street & running the stop signs. I called & asked for a supervisor noone returned my call of course. & 5 mins ago again one of their drivers ran the stop sign on 12th & west market & almost hit me. Wish I didn't have to select any starts bcuz 1 star is too good

It really amazes me that it's taken so many reviews to get this point across:

This company sucks!

They've sucked for as long as they've been in business and cab service in the LV in general all sucks equally regardless of whom you call.

Typical call to Lehigh Valley Taxi:

Dispatcher: Taxi... (Imagine someone OD'ing on horse tranquilizers to get the idea of how this is said.)

You: I need to go to XYZ.

Dispatcher: I've never heard of XYZ, we don't go there.

You: Really? XYZ has been in downtown on Main Street for 20 years.

Dispatcher: Sure, what's the address of XYZ?

You: It's at 1313 Main Street

Dispatcher: Alright, we'll get there.

You: But I never told you where I am.

Dispatcher: Oh, where are you.

You: 1313 Mockingbird Lane, about how long will this take?

Dispatcher: I already told you, we'll get there.

You: How long is that?

Dispatcher: (click and dial tone)

That's more or less what you get. Attempt to call them back and either they see your number and don't answer the phone or then suddenly the dispatcher's sedative wears off and he'll piss on you that he told that "they'll get there".

So if you're lucky, maybe they come for you in an hour or so or maybe it'll be a week or maybe never at all, who knows?

If you're in the LV area and need a lift do one of the following:

1. Don't be cheap. Stay at a hotel with a 24 shuttle. They're out there.

2. Don't be cheap. Rent a car.

3. Don't be cheap. Pay a buddy to be your DD.

4. Walk

5. Bike

6. Snowshoe

7. Dogsled

8. Hang glide

9. Hook up with Wile E. Coyote for a pair of his Acme Jet Powered Skates

Or simply skip whatever plans you had to go wherever you were going to go because wherever you're going will likely be closed or out of business by the time you're done waiting for these jokers to pick you up.

Used them twice now.

First time was in August at 3AM to get to the airport. Younger guy, no later than his mid-twenties. He was on time, nice, and efficient.

Second time was yesterday. Older gentleman, maybe in his 40's-50's? He was about 15 minutes late, however he was an absolute pleasure to ride with. Talked the whole way there and he even carried my bag up to my door like a true gentleman.

This company has bad reviews but I'm 2 for 2 on wonderful experiences with them.

Lehigh Valley Transport did a great job yesterday picking up my niece and friend hiking the Appalachian Trail and bringing them back to Bethlehem. The dispatcher was courteous and professional, and the driver Jenny was super: diligent, friendly, and very professional. I was really impressed.

Our dispatcher and driver were very friendly. If we hadn't asked the dispatcher to dispatch a cab, and the driver to drive it, I would gladly give them five stars.

The cab, promised in 20 minutes, came in 50, after repeated calls. But the dispatcher was really very pleasant as she repeatedly told me our taxi to the bus station was just around the corner. If I hadn't been trying to catch a bus out of town, I might well have stayed on the phone longer and made a friend.

Once the cab came, we gave the driver our destination (which we had also given to the dispatcher) and even provided directions. But, presumably since he has a car, the driver didn't have any idea how to get to the bus station. He happily ignored our directions and the increasingly plaintive "turn right" messages from his GPS to give us a tour of scenic downtown Bethlehem.

After a meandering, meter-raising tour, on which I excitedly called out the sights ("Look! That was that road the GPS just told us to take! And look -- the next street is one-way in the other direction!"), we finally came to the terminal. The driver, smiling, told us it was his first day. I, too, happily remember my first days driving, following directions and using a GPS, so it was nice to be able experience those joys again through fresh eyes.

Once we got to the admittedly barebones bus terminal, the driver apparently didn't believe that such a drab location could be our destination, but we ultimately managed to convince him to stop and accept our money.

What a horrible bunch of Jerks. I have used this taxi service several times because they have a monopoly over Bethlehem. Other taxi services will not pick up here. Every time their dispatcher (man or woman, both of them) gives me an attitude.

Look, kiddo, you got problems, I got problems. We all got problems. But if you take it out on your customers, it's only coming back to you.

Uber is in Bethlehem and now there is no reason to consider these bastards. Uber is eating your lunch now toolbags! Time to close up shop because you suck!

I thought it was just me, but I guess not.
While visiting Bethlehem, I had occasion to use this taxi company, recommended to me by my hotel. The pick-up went smoothly and, as stated by a previous reviewer, the car was clean and the driver polite.
Later that evening, I called back to request another pick-up. It certainly sounded as though someone would answer the phone and immediately hang up without saying anything!
Very disappointing experience. If you are relying on them for service, I strongly suggest having a backup plan.

If i could give them 0 stars i would! My grandmother had just gotten out of the emergency room and called them. They had her on hold for 25 minutes. She hung up and called me to try and call. So i did. I'd drive her myself but i live an hour and half away and its almost 10 pm. HE WAS VERY RUDE AND ALMOST PUT ME ON HOLD BECAUSE I TOLD HIM HE HAD MY GRANDMOTHER WAITING. He said "yeah we're busy, hear the phones ringing? Then asked for her number so i said one minute let me get it for you. He then said see this is why im about to put you on hold." IT TOOK ME LIKE 2 SECONDS! So, in total shes been waiting almost 2 hours to go home.
