Went in & gave me advice. Said he can handle it for me and once he received payment he was no help, after trying to contact his assistant I went in myself and he tells me "write them an email" ended up having to pay the landlord to just end everything. Save your money

Unreliable, they really don't help the lawyer really doesn't care about cases , since according to him "I have to many cases", he will file when he can and won't assist helping you. We gather all information requested just to at the end drop our case with them since we weren't receiving any help , there was no communication, no assistance worse place to go.

I wish there were an option to give zero stars. I called to make an appointment, the day of I showed up a few minutes before and upon entering, not a single person greeted me or directed me to go anywhere. I looked around and saw a sign up sheet, wrote my name on it and took a seat. I ended up waiting for over an hour and a half, when I finally sat down with Jacob, every couple of words I got in, I was interpreted because his staff kept talking to him. After maybe three or four minutes, he cut my off and said someone else would call me asking for more information and of course no one did. I felt this business was so unprofessional and I would definitely not recommend it. I understand not all cases are viable but, if I had an appointment the least he could've done was hear me out instead of wasting my time.

They DO NOT DEFEND LANDLORDS FOR EVICTION. We drove there for 1 hour 15 minutes and were told they don't take such a case . And we were told otherwise on the phone made an appointment. After we got there we were told they don't do EVICTIONS for landlords .

He's the best attorney, hands down. Please don't hesitate to call him. I was going through an eviction, and at the end, he turned things around now. I'm just moving out of the property I live in with like 18k. There is nothing negative on my record. Thank you, Jacob, you are the best, my friend

If I could leave less than one star I would. I highly recommend you RUN from these people unless you like being subjected to "Fair Game" tactics and payola. I received the worst advice here ever from an attorney which resulted in a successful eviction. This office literally advised me that it was not necessary to file an answer or respond to an eviction notice because it had not been served properly. There was a sheriff's notice on my door and this man advised me NOT TO RESPOND. Obviously this was wrong and it provided my landlord (GARY GUSEINOV aka GARY GUSS of INTERNATIONAL EQUITY PARTNERS and REAL DEFENSE) with a default judgment which resulted in me being evicted. My landlord threatened me and utilized harassment tactics to force an eviction from an illegal unit after illegally collecting rent for 6 months. He is also a member of a church that starts with the letter "S" or at least his ex wife is. I believe he utilized this association in a negative way to hide his criminal actions. Jacob said he would sue my landlord for wrongful eviction, illegal unit and habitability issues, and that my eviction was actually going to help my case since I was evicted from an illegal unit which is a misdemeanor crime, and since the landlord committed fraud he was liable for criminal charges as well as civil. I signed a retainer agreement. He said we had to sue him for the restitution and legally the landlord must pay for relocation and damages.

I have government documents to prove it was an illegal eviction from Code Enforcement LADBS and the Dept of Health for habitability and he was cited multiple times with an order to comply and has not complied and broke the law. Despite all this, Jacob decided to drop my case without explanation after wasting yet another few months of my time. Literally because of this firm's lack of action and bad advice I am now living in a motel wondering how I will survive. Had I not gone to his firm in the first place I would have won in court and the landlord would be facing penalties and I would not be wondering how I am going to survive.

Furthermore, the only time I ever received any calls from Jacob was to threaten me for writing this review. He said he would wait until I won the lawsuit against my landlord and then sue me for that money. When I pointed out that I was protected by anti-slapp and other laws, and that everything I wrote in this review is factual, he offered me $100 to have it removed. When I declined, he called me crazy. Remember this ladies and gentlemen!!! This is not defamatory commentary. It is hard to believe this man works for the people because it really seems to me like he just helped the landlord here commit a misdemeanor crime and get away with it. YES I will hire a different lawyer but RUN RUN RUN from this place
