Many machines, lots of space! I went around 9 on a Saturday morning and it was empty. Found a huge machine that took what is usually two-three machines worth of laundry. Lots of space for folding too!

This place is to be great. It's gone down past few years. Every time I go there's always some homeless person sleeping on the massage chairs. The employees just walk by like they not there. This was never the case when it originally opened. Good thing they have signs that say no loitering.

Love this place. Big space, lots of machines. Dry cleaners connected. Parking lot. Massage chair. Arcade games. Soda machine.
Best part is that they offer FREE DRYING MACHINES on Tues-Thurs 6am-4pm. Awesome.
Oh, and can you a**holes please stop hogging up all the top dryers?? How rude!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - TC G.Manila, Philippines4139Mar 22, 2015
It was great for drop-off service until new ownership came in. Now, I don't bother unless I'm doing my own laundry and even that part has gone down hill.
Overall, at least it's spacious, there's parking out front, there's a Subway next door, and they have a few flat screens with OTA channels playing. Most of the washers/dryers are kept in good condition, but definitely give the washer a sniff before throwing your clothes in or they may come out smelling like mildew.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Julia G.Verona, Italy1012Oct 15, 2012
I dropped off my laundry here for several years and was generally really happy with their service. My only concern was that they only color-sort the laundry, but then throw everything together, i.e. bed sheets with delicates - everything washed at high temperature, resulting in various shrunk cloths. So I would never drop off really delicate clothes here (luckily I don't have too many of those anyways). As for the rest, I got into the habit of presorting everything according to color and temperature and marking one bag with "Wash at low temperature" (anything, just to prevent doing the laundry myself... ;)). Up until no this worked fine, no complaints.
But then last week I got my white laundry back and everything is baby-blue, covered in darker blue stains. I know for sure that I did not put anything blue in my laundry. Since the damage was quite considerable (around $200 worth of clothes ruined), I took it back. I expected that Luz - the clerk who is in charge of the dropped off laundry - would offer to try to bleach the blue/remove the blue stains and if that didn't work they would surely have an insurance to reimburse me for my damage... Wrong! She insisted that the blue coloring had nothing to do with her laundry place and that there was no way that they could be responsible for my cloths being blue. I'll spare you the details of the somewhat heated discussion that followed... Unfortunately no resolution came out of it.
Laundry City - you just lost yourself a so far loyal customer. Very disappointed!!Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mary H.New York, NY1493015Dec 11, 2013Updated review
Use to come all the time twice the washing machines got stuck on a cycle and the machine had to restart although the machine did not restart and I couldn't get my cloths out of the machine . The man had to break open the machine which poor all the water on the floor and had to dry the cloths for 60 mins . These machines are not kept well at all. Please to not go to this laundromat. It is over priced and no one is here to help you when the machines break down and your cloths are stuck in a machine .

Love this place. Parking Lots available. They sell detergent if you need it. Dropoff service is great. Dry Cleaning there is cheap $2.99. Luz who works there is the sweetest little lady ever.
Highly recommend this place over the others in the area!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kyle M.Sunnyside, NY22Mar 18, 2015
This place changed ownership soon after the new year, and the service at the counter has taken a dive. Drop-off service usually took 2 days and was sometimes next-day, pick up anytime after 5.
Now it is consistently late and, according to the last employee I spoke to, is only being washed during the middle of the week, making Thu/Fri drop-offs now 3-4 days.
It's spacious and clean, with enough machines that there's almost never any waiting to do your own laundry. But if you want them to do something for you, go elsewhere.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Fitz T.Burke, VA010022Oct 17, 2010First to Review

Love love love this place. Been going since it opened but with change of jobs, I haven't been there in a while, less dry cleaning. I had to drop some sweaters today to dry clean and was very happy to know that the clerk, Luz, was still there. She remembered me and was very professional.
The cost of dry cleaning is cheap if you do not immediately need it. The cost of dry cleaning on pants, sweaters and dresses is $2.99. Years ago it used to be $2.49 so this price I can deal with.
Highly recommended and I drive all the way from Rego Park to drop off my dry cleaning.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
