The tiniest coffee shop I have seen in the Financial District. Unlike other coffee shops, they stand out with this unique sense of style.
      Great marketing!
They have a happy hour special where you can buy two lattes and get the third one free! Incredible!

I had their chicken empanadas, which were freshly baked with a combination of cheese, spices, and vegetables all chopped up in bit of pieces.

The empanadas were soft, yet had a distinguished taste!

I find just two empanadas to be filling as well as healthy along with a decent price considering the location.

This was my first time having Venezuelan food and I was definitely impress.

They also have another location in soho, which is more spacious and that's where they do the baking and cooking from scratch.

Aside from empanadas, they also have desserts to satisfy your sweet tooth and their famous latte.

If you are in the area and want good quality of empanadas and latte from South America, I'd definitely recommend stopping by!

Not only do they have fantastic coffee and espresso, but they also are super nice! I have had their cappuccino and latte, both with almond milk, and they were excellent. The espresso was not very bitter but had the slight sweetness, nuttiness, and cream you expect from a great shot of espresso. Just the right amount of foam as well. The organic oatmeal is $3 and you get a pretty big cup of it with some dried fruit and almonds. Honestly this was some of the best oatmeal I've had and I don't think they added any sugar; just almond milk (you can also get it with regular milk or water) and the fruits and nuts.

As mentioned both the employees (they could also be owners; I have no idea) were super nice and inviting. I strongly suggest using the CUPS app and the Level Up app. CUPS has a few different plans- if you want the regular plan (brewed coffee or tea) it comes out to about $2 a cup. If you get the monthly plan for ANY coffee or espresso then it's $60 so if you actually use it every day, about $2 a cup also. I personally like the 16 cup plan for $48 where you can get any drink (the plan is valid for 3 months). Basically this means you can get a large espresso/latte/macchiato/whatever with any kind of milk for about $3 a cup. This is well below anything you would pay elsewhere in Manhattan (really most places in general). They also give you an additional free cup when you first sign up.

You can use LevelUp to pay for whatever else you need to buy. They have various breakfast pastries and sandwiches and empresses., plus similar items for lunch. Spend $50 at Latte Art and you get a $3 credit so it's definitely the way to go.

It's a tiny place with no seating but I will definitely continue to support them and highly recommend them.

To my Argentinian barista boyfriend. I like the way you flick your wrist when you froth milk for my cappuccino. The way you describe what's in that decadent dulce de leche croissant. The way you punch my card after every time I visit. *swoon*

Amazing coffee. Seriously. It's probably the cheapest and best-bang-for-your-buck espresso-based drink you can get in the area. Also, I tried alfajores for the first time here. Interesting little sandwich cookie. Crumbly, dense, fantastic with coffee. But my first love is their dulce de leche croissant. Absolutely amazing. I refrain everyday from getting one.

Cross section of dulce de leche croissant. Small piece of heaven

Stopped by here for a Latte in the morning. The space is really narrow, about 4 Feet wide and only about 15 feet deep. The service was pleasant and the coffee made well and on the spot. The Latte was a bit too strong of a mix between Milk and Coffee. Too bitter, even with the sweetener I added.

There is a small shelf attached to the wall, for adding sweeteners and mixing. I found that shelf to not be very stable and almost spilled my coffee, especially when I tried to put the lid back on.

Stopped into Latte Art on Thursday afternoon. A mixed bag with the Empanadas I ordered, but solid coffee.

Quality: Ordered four Empanadas; Beef, Chicken, Spinach, and Ham And Cheese. Was impressed with the Ham And Cheese, but the rest fell flat. They lacked the richness inside, but I did enjoy the shell. I think the cheese was the difference maker, so I would recommend sticking with the cheese options. I loved my coffee however, especially since it was complementary. Rich and creamy, perfect on a cool day.
Quantity: Decent sized empanadas, more of a treat than a meal.
Value: $3.00 for the selection of Empanadas.
Ambiance: Latte Art is located in the FiDi of Manhattan. Literally a hole in the wall. Without knowing where it is, you are unlikely to find this spot. As a coffee spot, you also won't really know about the empanadas inside without insider tips. Up a few steps there is a ledge for one or two people to wait for food, but not much more than that.
Crowd: No space for a crowd.
Service: Friendly and fast. Appreciated that they also threw in a coffee with my order.
Parking: Little chance of finding parking in this area..

I really wished that I could like this place more. Literally a hole in the wall that a friend and I walked passed twice before finding since it was so hidden.

The latte wasn't phenomenal but 3 stars because at 8:50AM on a weekday morning.. i was in and out with a large mocha in less than 5 minutes! Granted there was only one person in front of me but the employees were still super efficient and friendly. This place is tiny but I suppose it makes no difference if you're running in and out anyway.

However I've been here a few times - usually order a regular latte and this time the mocha and both drinks had a burnt taste to the espresso. This place would definitely be a 5 if they would just step up the coffee game. Friendly barista too!

I just found this place the other day, despite having worked around the corner from it for well over a year. I'm glad I didn't wait any longer!

The first thing you'll notice is that despite the tiny size, Latte Art offers just about every kind of coffee drink ever invented. The area behind the counter has just enough room for the barista (who, after three trips there in as many days, now recognizes me and remembers my order) and an assortment of various espresso machines, blenders swirling granita, and a little grill churning out empanadas.

Latte Art, without a doubt, has an Argentine bent to it. The walls display photos of soccer players in Argentina's national uniform, the empanadas--from what I know--are in the Argentine style (small and not too greasy), and there are always homemade alfajores in the pastry case. But I appreciate the Italian influences as well, which may be by way of Argentina, but are still wonderfully familiar to me: an assortment of cornetti/croissants (ham and cheese, whole wheat), traditional caffe shakerato...

So far, my favorites are the shakerato, the granita (a delicious frozen coffee drink similar to caffe shakerato but made with agave in lieu of sugar), and the amaaaazing breakfast empanada. I had the egg, ham and cheese this morning, and I am in breakfast heaven.

The alfajores look glorious but may have to wait until bikini season ends!

What a perfect little gem of a coffee shop.

Breakfast empanada for size comparison with cocktail napkin. Perfectly sized and filled with egg, ham and cheese!
      Granita!!! :)

The latte was so strong, it could wake the dead!

Found this place on the CUPS app, otherwise I wouldn't have known it was near my commute.

Ordered the latte art, with skim milk. I didn't ask for a specific art, so I guess the default art is a heart. I typically don't add sweetener to my coffee/latte, but it was way too bitter for my taste. Had to add extra milk and sugar to my latte once I got to my office.

Barista was nice, and quick. I went at 7:45am in the morning so there was only one other person ordering coffee.

FYI, like what all other reviewers notice, this place is literally a hole in the wall coffee joint. Two people can barely stand side to side in the store.

Super cute hole in the wall that I've passed on several occasions but finally checked out today with a coworker. The waiting room allows for basically 2 people at a time and you'll normally see people standing outside. Not much of a wait time though so have a little patience :)

I got the large dulce de leche, it's fairly strong and tastes great! Came out to slightly under $5 and we'll worth it! Cute designs on the foam but it was your basic leaf. I want to go back and request a dragon or unicorn next time lmao - I'm going to be THAT person.

I'll probably be back soon (tomorrow) to try another flavor and the empanadas! They also offer a breakfast combo.... probably will try that too LOL

Tip: get the punch card or app if you plan on coming back ;)

Cute coffee spot in downtown Manhattan. Came here as suggested by my friend that they do good latte art (just as its name implies). They really did - with a butterfly on mine and a rose on my friend's. Guess no girls could say no to such a tiny yet lovely coffee shop!

Be mindful that it was extremely small though.
