If your looking to learn Spanish or construct basic sentences this is the absolute best way! I've taken other formal Spanish classes before and it never stuck until I started working with Lissette. She is absolutely fantastic and I am so fortunate I found her. Couldn't recommend enough. Thank you Lissette !!

Ive taken some formal Spanish lessons in a classroom setting and through private tutors, and I can say that I really like Lissette's approach the best.
She was able to quickly find my weak points and create effective and personalized drills and exercises to really challenge me, all while maintaining a fun and supportive vibe to the lessons.
She's also a great communicator and very flexible with your schedule, so if you've got a job with crazy or inconsistent hours like me, she'll find a way to work around it.
I've been with her for a few months now and can say I feel much more confident with my grammar and speaking skills. I'm planning to take a long trip to South America soon, and Lissette has been absolutely instrumental in getting my Spanish up to snuff!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Pegah R.Campbell, CA30154Jan 18, 2018
Sooo I've been tutoring with Lissette for months now and I can strongly say that without a doubt, my vocabulary, conversation and even CONFIDENCE in speaking Spanish has increased tremendously. Lissette's extensive knowledge, passion and creativity in teaching is exactly what I was looking for. I am so thankful to have found this wonderful gem of a human :) Muchas gracias, Lissette!

Lissette is a warm and enthusiastic Spanish teacher who does more than just "tutor" -- she teaches! I'm 46 and starting Spanish from scratch ahead of a planned trip to Spain. Having failed to learn languages my whole life, I went into it preparing for failure. But thanks to Lissette, I finally feel like I'm succeeding!

I am just starting to learn some Spanish and, as an older guy, didn't want to be in a larger class. My hope was to pick up enough to navigate trips--and I really feel like this is working! Her emphasis on conversation is a big plus. At the same time she presents grammar and other important concepts in small enough packages to not be overwhelming. Also a big plus is that she is a positive and more a cheerleader than taskmaster.

Lissette is a wonderful teacher! We always discuss the topics that I'm finding I need to focus on the most in my daily conversations and she is able to tailor the lessons in such a way that I always leave class feeling more confident with my Spanish speaking skills. Her teaching style is very practical and straight forward. I highly recommend her lessons!
