Is the wifi password protected? Are there enough outlets for you to plug in and work?
A:
There's no public WiFi or outlets so you'll need to hotspot and battery pack in the patio in the back

The pastries? Legit.
The quiche? Delicious.
Coffee? It's brown go juice that tastes good.
Service was friendly, team seems to work well together.
Tons of seating inside with some out front as well.
Banana Nutella pop tart was ridiculous.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lex A.Los Angeles, CA0522Feb 24, 2024
I haven't been there in person, so I can't speak to that. But regarding their delivery capabilities- they will basically pack up to deliver you whatever they feel like in the moment.
I ordered off doordash a few weeks ago and they shorted me a pastry. Eh, fine. I didn't even go through the effort to get it refunded. I decided to give them another shot today, and this time was even worse.
They left out 3 items, and somehow gave me 1 random ones that I didn't order. No chips with the sandwich. It was a disaster. This wasn't a case of a wrong order, but clearly a "he'll take what is left over and we won't refund what is out of stock."
They actually staple the delivery bags closed quite well, so neither instance was the driver. They've officially lost my business.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 28, 2024
What's not to love? Great coffee and drinks , food, and ambiance. You can people watch and bring your dog.
Great spot close to the house that is always working their hardest. The ham and cheese croissant was amazing and then had a cinnamon roll for dessert. So good I forgot to take my photo !Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nicole F.Santa Clarita, CA1822715May 4, 2024
This morning my friend and I stopped to have breakfast after trying to locate the "Hidden Stairway in Silverlake". This place is amazing. Everything was so freshly prepared. We had the veggie quiche, banana walnut chia muffin and a ube coconut cream matcha. So delicious. We will definitely be back. Definitely made up after walking the stairs.

Just ok! The line was long and I didn't get the hype but in a cute area that's up and coming. Also when we went there were a bunch of bees flying around it was scary. The scrambled eggs and lattes weren't anything to go crazy about

The Poblano and cheese pastry was adored by my partner. I had the weird sounding french toast which tasted like a normal good french toast without hits of rooibos and enough cinnamon for me to not get it again.
Register lady was super nice but they did get our order wrong and we had to get it right.
Cool crowd. Nice inside and outside.
Lots of and writers chilling as they're in strike.
Pretty flours blooming. Limited parking in the back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 16, 2023
Lamill is a great work/study spot with comfy chairs and quick, friendly service. It's in a fun part of Silverlake and just down the street from an auto shop I had dropped my car off at, so it made for the perfect spot to hang out while I waited.
Unfortunately, pricing here is sooo expensive, even compared to other spots in Silverlake/Echo Park area. It was almost $12 for a black tea and pastry - the pastries are super tiny as well. I also was never told that there was a service charge added, which would have influenced my tip, so that was another $1 needlessly added on.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Daniel L.Davis, CA4313Apr 12, 2024
Great food and service. Parking is street parking so at brunch and weekends it can get BUSY. But partly because the food is great. Also, the setting / inside is lovey. A great spot with good coffee.

I am truly baffled by why this place only has 3.5 stars on yelp. The ambience is fantastic, the cashier was friendly, the coffee was great. It's no skin off my back anyway since I'll be returning and that means more room for me .

Lamill has new menu items you must try! Today, we tried the Adobo Fried Rice and the Ancient Grains Salad; both were delicious! I got the Roasted Pablano and Oaxaca cheese croissant to go; also delicious. They have new breakfast items that I would like to try, but they start serving breakfast at 11:30 am so get there early.
Service is good as usual.
Ambiance is always bright and beautiful. They have outside seating, which is a plus.
Will have to come back to try more new menu items especially the breakfast items.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1Apr 19, 2022Previous reviewNew menu items! Had to stop by and try them now that we are back in the office. Japanese iced coffee was so refreshing! Ordered gem salad for lunch, along with a poblano and Oaxaca cheese croissant. Oh so good! Happy to see they changed up their menu a little bit. Can't wait to try more items.
Jun 21, 2019Previous reviewMy go-to spot when I've been out of town and need my fix of LA. There's something about Lamill...it's definitely the ambiance and the dining experience of the place that has me coming back. Their coffee is outstanding, and their variety of tea offerings is pretty good too. I like that you can choose from a list of extraction methods for both coffee and tea. Presentation of both drinks and dishes are well thought out. But not only is their drinks and dishes appealing to the sight and smell, but it taste delicious. I've had the pleasure of having their breakfast plate, beignets, salads, fried chicken salad, avocado toast, smoked salmon toast, jams. Whatever you get, you have to have the beignets with your coffee or tea. I love their pastries too - with options of gluten free or vegan and it taste great! I get the pumpkin loaf, cranberry scone, chocolate chip cookies, gosh I think I've had almost all of them.
Whatever you get here, you will be content and even more, happy you had the experience here. It's a chill environment, people minding their business, they bring their dogs, their kids, their friends, their business associates. It's just a spot people, like me, are drawn to.
