      Just wanted to take a moment to thank GM Carlos and his staff for helping resolve an incident that occurred during our stay at the hotel.

      I was in retail customer service for 20 years and understand full well that things happen. And what's important is that when they do, a business holds itself as accountable as this one does.

      Each person we worked with during our issue was sincere and they followed up on their promises to resolve.

      This is a decent hotel, with a fair rate and we will continue to do business with La Quinta.

      Room was not made up since the previous guest when we arrived- we were startled to open the door and find the lights were on and bed slept-in; we thought someone might still be in there!

      They don't make up rooms during your stay, even when you request it and they promise to do so. They were always low on towels when I trekked across the complex to the front desk to get more. There is no 'Do Not Disturb' sign, since they don't make up rooms anyway. Requested an extra one hour late checkout and was disturbed at the original checkout time by a hotel worker telling us to leave.

      Free breakfast very limited; no eggs or hot food or fresh fruit.

      Homeless people are living on the hotel's front lawn, behind some cargo containers. Cable TV went out during our stay. Shower water was hot, but water pressure was very weak; hard to rinse off.

      Swimming pool was mostly-drained in May (just enough water to be a mosquito magnet).

      The place was a hot mess... the first thing I noticed was the signs about the place being 100% smoke-free, and I was unpleasantly surprised that our room absolutely REEKED of cigarettes. We asked the person working at the front desk if there were any rooms available that were smoke-free, and he graciously changed our room for us. Upon walking in, we were hit in the face with a strong cleaning odor, and as time went on, it was apparent that the odor was simply masking the smell of cigarettes for this room as well. Yikes.

      It didn't help that the shower was stained and hairy, the floors were grimy/dusty/dirty, and there was a rolly polly roaming around. Also, the AC unit smelled a little like urine, there seemed to be a spot of dried blood on the floor, and the parking lot was full of pot holes, so drive carefully!

      To top things off, they "forgot" to refund the $100 incidental fee, and I probably wouldn't have gotten it back had I not checked my credit card statement and called them about it. Could have been an honest mistake, but would highly recommend checking your bill after your stay!!!

      We won't be coming back...

      If there is a zero point this place would definitely be the first to rightfully earn it .
      Before I continue check the photos in the hotel room if you can call this a hotel .
      This place is a health hazard and it's mind bugling that they still operate .
      You don't have th go around and search to show how this place is ...garbage and rats everywhere.

      We checked in last night after midnight and were given a map to find the room .
      Oh yes I was told not to smoke in the room.I was surprised to be reminded as we have been traveling 11 years for soccer tournaments and it's a common not to smoke in the room .
      What they miss to tell you is that people are smoking weed and the weed gets pulled into your room .
      You have to go out walk around the buildings with poor lighting, swimming pool full of leaves etc
      We were given room facing dumpsters .
      Room itself is spacious but dirty , lightbulbs broken , bath tub a health hazard , beading stained and musky .I could keep going on but why .
      I just wanted out ...out .. out ..
      My son fell asleep.I took his own clothes out of the bag to lay over the smelly bed.

      We checkout out the first morning .
      I didn't want to get into arguments or explanations why are we leaving.
      Once out waiting for Uber an employee came out and said " do you know this is non refundable "

      I really had it at this point to write this review .
      There is no care , no upkeep just rats and drug addicts roaming around.

      Hotel personnel more care about ripping customers off and making sure to explain that early cancellations are non refundable instead of improving property.
      Shame !!!

      Bedbugs!! Bedbugs!! BEDBUGS!! Do NOT stay here!! I stayed in room 145 and woke up around 1:30 AM to two bites and bedbugs crawling on the bed and on my pillow! I went to the office to ask for a refund, but he said he couldn't give me one until the morning when the manager is in. There was a lady and a man sitting at the lobby, chilling. I asked if they were staying there, and they said they worked there. I showed them the video footage of the bedbugs, and the lady had the audacity to admit that they knew about the bed bug problem in that room for a while! She even said they keep booking that room to people, knowing there are bedbugs! I called them the next morning for my refund, and the manager gave it to me, admitting they brought lab testing to find bedbugs. But with what the lady said the night prior, it's clear they knew about the bedbugs all along and just didn't care! We also had to throw away all our belongings because I was just too scared. The thought of bedbugs infesting our stuff, I couldn't bear to bring it into my vehicle or my home when I get back to town. Bedbugs are a nightmare, a nightmare that's incredibly hard to shake off. This experience has left me feeling so vulnerable and disgusted. I never imagined it could be this serious. I'd rather stay at a Motel 6 than here. At least there, I've never had to deal with something as horrifying as this.

      This rooms had no fridge or microwave. The floors were filthy. Plugs plugged into other plugs, front desk wouldn't accommodate and put our group close to each other. $100 incidental charge that's is refundable but takes 5-14 days which is super inconvenient and too much for that place. Horrible place to stay, I won't recommend to anyone.

      1 star because I can't say 0 stars. This hotel is a literal hole in the ground. Room rate was ~$100 a night so I wasn't expecting a grand experience, but problems started as soon as we walked into the room. Had to kill about 10 flies, the carpet is stained which is fine but my toddler crawled around the floor for about 5 minutes and feet and hands were black from dirt. Bathtub was cracked, stained, and beat up, ice machines broken, only some of the lights worked, and every outlet is just slightly too big for any plug. This place is a step above a crack den and it isn't a big step. If we hadn't been driving for 10 hours prior, would have piled back into the car and found a new spot.

      if I could give it a negative star rating I woul. please pay attention to my video, this is LITERALLY poop water that I'm video recording coming out WHILE I'm showering filling the tub with feces up to my almost my knees. disgusting. you would think upon hearing this, that they would do whatever they could to accommodate such an atrocious conditions but in fact are not doing anything about it . they also are keeping my deposit because I haven't got it yet. so to sum it up they took my money, took my incidental fee. I had to endure a shower of feces. did you get a room for this, they kept my money for the hotel, they kept the $100 incidental fee even though there showers/plumbing is in whack. horrible place I. fully intend to report this everywhere. I even showed them the video of the poop shower to absolutely no avail.

      Don't stay here !!
      It's dirty, they don't have clean towels.
      Lazy workers.
      All they do is make excuses.
      This place should be shut down.

      Traveler beware
      Charged a $250 fee per their non smoking policy. The thing is, we don't smoke and there was absolutely no way it was us leaving behind anything in that room. Especially what we were accused of leaving. The charge also appeared over 24 hours after we checked out.
      I was hoping to have a civil discussion to resolve the issue with the management. She was not interested in hearing anything I had to say.
      I just spoke to the GM of the hotel and was accused of DRUG USAGE in our room upon check out.
      The "photos" from them are sad, truly, I don't know if they thought they could embarrass us into silence with them or what.
      A simple, sorry we made an error we will credit your account back would have gone so far. Still would.
      I am worried now how many other people that they have done this to.
      I am incredibly disappointed to the lengths they have gone to try to justify it when they got caught.
      If you have other choices, I highly advise you to steer very clear of this place.
