Took my wife on a date night and this couldn't have been a better place to go. Walking in it immediately takes you to France, the artwork, decor, music, even wait staff attire, and the seating made you feel like you were in a cafe down the street from the Louvre!
Service was very timely, while never feeling rushed, immediately feeling welcomed.
Meal was perfect! Tons of flavors while able to finish the whole meal being portioned respectfully with room for dessert!
Can't wait to go back and hear their story!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Brian R.Oak Lawn, IL332210Apr 5, 2024
I brought my wife and daughter here for my wife's birthday today and heard all the rave about it being a traditional French bistro. I have worked at some French cuisine establishments back in the day, Relais & Château properties, etc., and I was blown away by Le Crepe. Right on the money...you guys are doing great and I cannot believe you've been there for 11 years and I've never heard of you. We're your new regulars and can't wait to come back.

Very good service, it has that little Italy's feeling.
I tried the Samon creep it was okay. I think we were there early for the lunch menu. I wanted rice. not eggs creep however it wasn't bad. A bit pricey but not bad at all. We even had room for some dessert.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Carol F.Homer Glen, IL09Apr 24, 2024
Elegant ambience, very comfortable seating, yummy food not only crepe but other entrees. Attentive service. It is a bit expensive and should be reserved for those special events although why not now and then spoil yourself and go.

This was my second visit here, and it was just as good as the first. This is the kind of place you come to when you want a romantic adventure (my first visit), or a special place to take someone from out of town (my second visit). There really is no other place in the Orland Park/Homer Glen area to compete with La Crepe Bistro. This is not a fast-food kind of place, but more of a space for a leisurely meal.
The ambiance is superb - looks very much like a French inspired dining room. Tables have table cloths, silverware is heavy, glassware is neat, and appointments in the room are well-curated for the atmosphere. And all of this is in a little unassuming storefront on the end of a strip mall in Homer Glen - makes it even more of a surprise to find.
The restaurant offers two menus: one of just crepe dishes and one of other starters, salads, and entrées. We felt the offerings were too numerous for the kitchen to be able to pull them all off deliciously across the board - so for our intentions we stuck to crepes, and we are glad we did because they pulled off the crepe offerings very well ... and each was presented in an appetizing way.
On my second visit one of our party had the Forestière Crepe (a 5-star offering with a nice helping of perfectly done porcini mushrooms in a mild cream sauce); another had the Duck Bacon Crepe (a 5-star delight served in a béchamel sauce), and the last had the Chicken & Asparagus Crepe (5-star perfectly done asparagus in a nice béchamel sauce). After having had three savory crepes, we opted for a sweet crepe for dessert and chose the French Butter Crepe (another 5-star offering).
They have a full bar for those looking to imbibe, but this really isn't a bar kind of place ... it is a bistro and that implies wine. We had a few glasses of wine (a Pouilly Fuisse, a Chablis, and one I cannot remember ... and only the Chablis failed to live up to standards as it tasted a bit dated and too oxidized. We finished with a little Bouvet Brut for a toast, and it was excellent.
All in all this is really an excellent place and a great change from the usual. It is a bit pricey, but you generally get what you pay for. The meals are served as the kitchen wants them served, so asking for this or that change or addition is problematic. Attentive service. Do make a reservation as the popularity of the place makes it not a walk-in. Recommended.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Salam A.Worcester, MA033Apr 17, 2024Seated via Yelp Reservations
I came with my mom to try this place. Coffee was good. I ordered the seafood crepe and it was delicious. Mom's chocolate and strawberries crepe was not good. We wind up sharing mine and chucked hers. A bit pricey, but definitely worth a try.

I had dinner this passed Saturday and let me tell you I felt rushed they say they close at 9 but the kitchen closes at 8 I arrived at 7 and it's like cmon order here's your food let's go thank you bye. Pretty crazy food was ok....the steak and fries was served with a piece of fillet very chewy and the duck breast is advertised as a duck steak but it's just a breast I was thinking maybe it's pounded thin? Well it's was just ok.....also I asked for garlic aioli and my server says to that's Italian.....then she came back with it and say she was sorry. lol

Food and service stand out first and foremost. The entrees bring you back in time and you feel like you're in another country. And the crepes...... OMG. I've tried most of the fruit filled and I can decide which I like best. A little bit pricey but worth it for the quality.
