L'Oven Expressions Bakery

I have used this bakery for years and wish I could post a picture of each cake they have made. But this last cake I recently ordered may have topped them all. It was just beautiful and all that I asked for. And the flavor was amazing. I asked for a simple vanilla and it was so moist and light. Almost like an angel food cake.
A wonderful thank you to the owner and her amazing staff. She has always been so nice and tried to make whatever I asked.

I came from a big city and was worried when I had to look for a cake in Odessa. I ordered my cake from L'Oven and also some specialty cookies and they were to die for. All my family from out of town raves about my daughters cake, saying it's the best white cake they have ever had! All in all I'm overly happy about everything. Even though I believe the specialty cookies are very pricey, I still have one saved that is still delicious 3 days after the party!

The cake that was made for my daughters birthday tasted really good. However, I placed my order with the owner making sure she knew this was a lunch birthday in Midland and we would be picking our cake up at 10am. So much to say and I am really trying to not to be ugly but we were told there was no time on our order, they brought out a hamberger cake first; which it would have been funny and lightened up the experience. But when you make plans to do something special, you hope that the business you choose would take your order as seriously as their wedding orders. I feel very disappointed since I ordered cupcakes 3 weeks ago, that they messed up as well but I gave them another chance. Unfortunately, I will not be using them or recommending this business.

The staff was very nice and respectful, they got my order right and got it to me on time.The cookies had the exact design as I asked unfortunatley the cookies were bland, and were not moist.

Tried the chocolate covered strawberries and well was sooo disappointed considering what I had paid. I ended up having to buy them at Heb n omg!!! Sooo good!

I was married in December 2015 and I was so pleased with our wedding cake. I looked at several places for the right cake for our special day and this place outranked all others. The owner is a sweet lady and she prepared a box full of cake samples to try for each layer. I was able to make a little cake tasting party with as much cake that was in the box and it was wonderful. I would describe the smell when you walk into the shop as absolutely heavenly and everything in the shop was very clean. The owner made me feel comfortable while making the decision and I didn't feel rushed at all. We planned the wedding in three months and we are so grateful that we had the perfect cake for our wedding day.

The staff was incredibly sweet and patient. The cake looked beautiful and tasted even better. I felt the price was reasonable as well! Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a cake, cookies, or cupcakes!
