COVID 19 Dine- In Experience
Wow! I've been to many rotating sushi bars (Kura franchises). I was very impressed with this location. The waitress was super attentive to each customer.
Food was fantastic. Large portions of sashimi, like salmon, are super satisfying. If you're an unagi fan, then you have to try the dragon roll. Seafood portions even on rolls were incredible.
For COVID precautions, staff wears masks. The rotating sushi bar is still functional (yay!), which gives guests the great experience of choosing their rolls under a plastic-covered plate. Plates are designated around $3.95 upward by color. Every few seats has dividers to protect customers.
Little pricey, barring it from five stars. Definitely worth an out-of-area trip to try! Come for the fresh fish :)Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 31, 2019
I stopped in around 2pm on a weekday and besides two other customers, the place was empty. I didn't expect it to be very busy at that time of day though anyway. I knew to probably not expect too much from seeing the overall rating of the place but figured it couldn't be bad. Well...it was kinda bad. There was next to no sushi on the rotating belt, which is probably to avoid waste and that's fine. But it had been there for a while and even the lady working there said it isn't fresh and I might want to order off the menu.
But even the couple of rolls I ordered off the menu were not very good. They just tasted....blah... edible but no flavor...no creativity...no love. It was just something for my body to digest essentially. I'm surprised by the few reviews I saw of people saying they've been coming here for years. Did I come at a truly bad time or do these reviewers sadly not know what good sushi tastes like?Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - FiDiDoggie F.Financial District, Manhattan, NY018685Sep 20, 2019

Popped in for an evening snack and ended up with a full meal. Par for the course when it comes to sushi.
The rotating sushi didn't have many options, I'm assuming due to the later hour. I chose a few plates and then we ordered some sushi al a carte. There was a seared tuna roll that was amazing.
The sushi was decent, not the best, but it hit the spot. Our waiter was straightforward and efficient.
The sushi bar is divided up in sections with plexiglass- COVID things.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 12, 2016
Rotating Sushi Bar is AWESOME! I used to go here with my coworker once a week after work and we would get seated at the same spot at the bar each time. The owner is so sweet and always recognizes us. We started going less often now and I miss it. The set up and lighting are awesome. It feels so cozy! The food is great too.
If you get sushi, the chef will give you four or eight pieces. If you choose four, he puts the other half on the rotating bar and someone else can take it. It is such a cool idea! The food is priced based on the plate it is on. The more simple sushi is $2.95, while the fancier sushi and foods are $5.95. If you are looking for sushi in Towson, this is the BEST place to go. There is NO WAIT! The food is so fresh and made right in front of you or you can grab something off the bar the moment you are seated.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 1, 2019
When I first walked in, this place seemed decent. However, after my sister and I were seated and we looked at the dishes on the conveyer belt, we were instantly disappointed with the options and with the large amount of rice in the rolls. We asked for warm water, and it seemed like it was straight from the tap because the water was murky and tasted like tap water. I ordered eel rolls and my sister got smoked salmon, which was just raw salmon... we immediately paid and went to a different restuarant. I would not recommend eating here.

The only rotating sushi bar I know of and it's very good! One of my favorite sushi spots when I lived in Towson and was in college. So fun to sit around the bar and watch the sushi go around. You get to pick what you want as it goes around.
You pay by color of the plate. Everything is reasonably priced. If you don't see what you want, just ask or use the sushi menu to order. They are very nice and helpful. They sushi is very fresh!
They are closed on Mondays. If you park in the Towson Commons Garage, they will validate.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Linda C.Nottingham, MD0181Mar 29, 2021

They didn't have the rotating bar in use since it was slow and lunch time to preserve the freshness of the sushi. We sat right at the bar and it was nice and socially distanced. Prices were reasonable and the sushi chef literally handed us our sushi as he made it! We will be back!!!
