Really nice and cute place.
You can order a variety of bagels and other cute desserts here. The cool thing about this place is that everything is named after a street in boston, which was really unique.
I ordered the Harvard ave on egg roll, which contained honey cream cheese and jam. It was pretty delicious, even to someone who is not a huge fan of cream cheese. To all the cream cheese lovers out there, you will love this place cuz it has SOOO many different types of cream cheese, which unfortunately I cannot appreciate as appropriately.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Heidi L.San Diego, CA122757Mar 24, 2024
These bagels are pretty stuffed. I had the Coolidge Corner on an everything bagel. This has chive cream cheese, smoked salmon, tomato, and onions. It was almost difficult to eat because the stuffing kept sliding out. Taste wise, it hit the spot.
Pricing: a little expensive, but reasonable considering how filling these are. Bagels also come with a free bottle of water.
Not much seating inside and the place was PACKED when I went. We waited about 10 minutes for our food.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 5, 2024
This is a great local spot for anyone looking for some bagel sandwiches on the go!
Food:
We got the Cleveland Corner bagel sandwich on an egg bagel (smoked salmon, tomato, chive cream cheese, red onion). The filling was so fresh and delicious. However, the bagel itself wasn't the best. It was a little on the tougher side but overall still delicious 8/10.
Ambiance:
Such a great local spot and everyone was so kind and helpful. They only do takeout though so take it to-go! 8/10.
Price:
$12ish for the sandwich and it was a great amount of food, definitely worth the price in Boston 8/10.
They have an enormous variety of sandwiches so I can't wait to go back and try more!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 9122169Feb 27, 2024
Solid option for bagels, friendly service.
Stopped here while in Brookline to get breakfast. There are sandwich options available or you can build your own bagel. I opted for a toasted everything bagel with veggie cream cheese. While the flavor of the bagel was great and it was overflowing with schmeer, it really wasn't toasted enough for my liking, which made the bagel was a bit chewy for my liking.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kendrick Y.AL, AL046Mar 13, 2024
Has a very local feel with outside seating that makes it a good breakfast/brunch place on a nice day. I ordered the plain cream cheese with nova lox spread (on accident- I meant to get the nova lox protein), tomatoes, onion, and capers on a toasted tomato basil bagel. Overall, they gave a lot of cream cheese which I appreciated and the vegetables were nice and fresh. However, i do think the bagel had a lack of basil and tomato taste.
The service was simple and I had no problem communicating my order. I recommend this establishment if you want a good bagel and you're in the area!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sep 23, 2023
I came here on a Saturday morning after playing tennis at the Devotion school courts, and just beat the rush. After ordering, a bunch of people followed behind us so we got lucky!
The menu is pretty extensive, and I had tried the lox in the past with very positive results. Today, I felt like going a bit more simple and ordered the Back Bay on a plain bagel. It came with a fried egg, cheese, tomatoes, and red onion.
This breakfast sandwich was extremely simple but also extremely fresh and delicious. The bagel itself was nicely toasted and just the right amount of soft, chewy, fluffy, and crunchy on the outside. It definitely surpassed any other bagel I have had recently. On top of that, the cheese added a nice saltiness, the egg was pretty standard, and the amount of onion and tomato was really perfectly balanced. The ratio of all of the ingredients and the fresh bagel turned this from a very simple order into a tasty and unexpected treat. On top of that, the $5.99 price felt very reasonable for a breakfast sandwich of this quality. While their more complicated orders are a bit more pricy, I'll definitely be back for the Back Bay again!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 21, 2023
SO SO GOOD
Don't even look anywhere else cause this place has bagels that put all of MYC to shame! Big controversial claim I know-- but it's true. I recommend the multigrain bagel or the popular everything bagel
Garlic & Herb cream cheese superiority.
Plenty of (outdoor) seating!

My husband and I stopped here before heading out on a roadtrip for breakfast. We each grabbed a bagel and cream cheese - onion with chive, and everything with honey walnut.
The bagels were some of the freshest, lightest bagels I've ever had! I bit into it and knew it was going to be a good start to the day!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 6107149Oct 21, 2023
Visiting Brookline and stopped for lunch. Great selection of baked goods and sandwiches! I got a veggie bagel with smoked salmon. Huge! Delicious! Ate outside on great fall day.

As a NJ native, I'm pretty picky about my bagels, but I love visiting Kupel's and never leave here disappointed! As far as bagels go, they're nice and doughy/soft on the inside, while being slightly crisp on the outside. My favorite is their sesame bagel, perfect with some scallion cream cheese. Whenever I visit I make sure to pick up their day-old bagels for a "buy one get one free" deal, making around 15 bagels cost $6 total. I also am a huge fan of their half moon cookies, but if you don't have a sweet tooth stay away from them because they're very sugary. One small complaint I have is about their lox cream cheese. I've had this spread at many other bagel shops where you can see chunks of lox in the cream cheese, but at Kupel's, the lox is completely reduced down to a paste, which is not really the texture that I'm looking for. I noticed this in their Fenway lox sandwich especially, where small chunks of lox in the sandwich would've made for a fresher, tastier experience... but maybe that's just me!

It smelled amazing walking in. I ordered a bagel for the next day to take to the airport, they wrapped it separately from the bagel my aunt purchased. Appreciated since it was a sweet bagel with a little somethin' somethin' on it. She was a big 'ol bagel and I was able to eat it without any schmear, which says a lot to me. It was nice to have something to eat before boarding my plane.
