Krispy Krunchy Chicken

The fried chicken here is amazing. For me the best fried chicken I've had in the area. If you're not doing in I recommend you order ahead as they cook your chicken when you order it, so you can end up waiting 20-25 minutes if you don't. But it IS worth the wait! I don't know how they are able to get the chicken so flavorful, crunchy, and moist. We had the 12 piece dark, family meal with mashed potatoes and gravy, which are really good also. The meal was so good, we went back the next day!
This location is connected to another spot, and though there's seating I think it's mainly set up to be a takeout spot. I highly recommend.

Good chicken, but very inconsistent. My usual order here is some fried chicken and some chicken tenders. Sometimes the fried chicken is off other times the tenders are off. Very rarely do you get both on point at the same time.

Tonight the tenders tasted off. Like they were old. Into the trash they went. The fried chicken tasted great though. Last time the fried chicken tasted like there was something weird with the batter. So that's the eternal struggle with this place.

Y'all, we just happen to be down here on an errand and being hungry I said to the man, let's try that chicken place. He's eaten at one somewhere else and raved about it. He likes to dine in, I hate crowds so I told him if it wasn't busy (we had tried to dine here in the past and the place had more people in it than those at SITW) so imagine my surprise when at noon this past Saturday found the place empty. We parked right up front and had the entire place to ourselves. I was feeling a little gluttonous and ordered the tenders, fries, mashed potatoes and 2 honey biscuits (and no, I didn't eat all of it in one sitting. I had the rest for dinner). When I picked up the tender it flexed like a raw piece of meat so when I broke a piece off fully expecting to find the chicken uncooked, I found it fully cooked and juicy!! Juicy, people!! I asked for honey mustard and sweet and sour sauces. I found my favorite was the honey mustard. The fries was super hot! I had to let them sit a minute. The mashed taters and gravy were yummy too. Those honey biscuits were like a dessert!! The atmosphere got a 4 because the lobby tables and such were dirty with crumbs. Not enough to make me want to eat in the man's truck but the extra napkins helped clean up. The young lady up front was very friendly, which rounded our visit up to a 5. I will definitely make a return trip as there are other items I'd like to try.

Friday, January 5, was our first day and our last day visiting this restaurant in Weston Town Center. Two out of a party of four ordered, chicken tenders, thinking that we shouldn't go wrong with tenders, but was a very bad choice since the tenders were chewy and didn't have any flavor at all. We let the waiter know, that our girls didn't like nor eat the tenders, to our surprise we got the full $30 of both tenders. The place is price for the quality of the food.

Actually I will give KKC 4.5 stars!

We came here on a Saturday evening, my mom and I. I noticed it is under new management but I wouldn't have known the difference since this is my first time going. Hubby has been talking about this place for a while and mom raves about it!
Nothing fancy, but boy the smell of fresh fried chicken will knock you off your feet.
I ordered a 3 wing meal with mac and cheese and a biscuit, 3 piece dark meat with mashed potatoes, 3 chicken tenders and jambalaya. I absolutely loved the chicken. It was crunchy, very flavorful and the meat was still juicy and tender. The mac and cheese, jambalaya, and the mashed potatoes were very tasty. The guy at the counter was very nice and patient with us, since we took a while figuring out what we actually wanted. There is another part next door where they sell desserts and with more dining space but that side was closed.

This place has seriously impressed me. Customer service was great. The chicken was delicious! I thought their price for chicken was a bit expensive, but I guess I'm ok with it as long as it is fresh and quality...and it WAS! I will definitely come again when I have a craving for fresh fried chicken!

Krispy Krunchy Chicken waaay better than Neat Bird. They actually season their chicken! Super delicious!

Bomb CHICKEN. Better than Popeye's. They are so nice and helpful , even for my company's large order for a family meal. It's always so nice to get extra tendies for my chickie tendies uwu Thanks y'all.

Blueberry biscuits are bomb! I didn't realize they would go so well with the chicken.

I used to go to Royal Farms but after many and I mean many disappointments we decided to try this place and I am so happy we did. The chicken is always fresh. The greens are always on point. The green beans are fire and the cabbage is so good. I tried their beans and rice before and those too are delicious as well. My husband has had a bunch of things from them. So many I can't even remember but he said he has had nothing but delicious food. If you want fried chicken or good comfort food, this is the place to go. The folks are always friendly and have the best customer service ever. In fact when they see my husband walk through the door, they start making the order. Not sure if that's a good thing lol but it makes us feel like we are welcomed. So forget Royal Farms and head over to KKC instead. Best in town.

For a "fast food" spot, this place is DEFINITELY on point. I've been patronizing this establishment since the new owners took over, pre-pandemic. The services always on point. The chicken definitely delicious. I introduced myself to the "chicken gizzards "and I have not been able to walk into this establishment with out ordering them. By the way; I get the gizzards "medium." The only issue I've had with them is that if they are out of hot sauce, they will charge you for a hot sauce container and you have to then pour the hot sauce into the container yourself. Petty? Yes. Very. Doesn't take away from the fact that it was an issue for me.
