Poor service. All the employees there talked to me as if I was bothering them. I walked in asking where to go to get my pickup order and 2 employees smirked at the question. I was very confused. lol
They told me that it would be placed on a particular counter when it was ready. My coffee was there, but my ham & cheese croissant wasn't, so I continued to wait. After about 5 minutes, I asked the girl at the front if it was ready. She said "oh let me get it for you". She had to get it from behind the pastry bar and proceeded to to just hand it to me cold. A ham and cheese croissant.. she did not even bother to ask me if I wanted it warmed up. I would've also been waiting, wasting my time if I hadn't inquired about my order again.
Weird vibes. Pretentious employees. Coffee wasn't even good either.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Al M.Daly City, CA56123Mar 30, 2024
Great place to stop by for a quick breakfast. The omelette and breakfast burritos were a solid 4/5.
Also had the latte and drop coffee. Both solid, well presented with a generous amount.
Big spacious interior if you're dining in with kind staff. Would return again!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 4, 2024
3.5 stars for the breakfast burrito, rounded up to a 4 because the employees were super nice and the cafe was extremely spacious. The street-facing front section had a livelier vibe. It was noisier from people chatting, drinks being made, and coffee being roasted, ground, and packaged. There was a quieter, dimmer lounge to the side. We sat on booths at the front and noted outlets on the benches. We paid at the counter, took the number to our table, and bussed our own trays at the end.
My bf and I shared one bacon breakfast burrito ($14 + $2 avocado add-on). The construction of the hefty item was sturdy, not messy to eat. Whoever made it is a good burrito roller. The tortilla was good: somewhat pliable and soft, warm and chewy, firm enough to provide structure. I liked how the filling was neatly organized. A ring of melted cheddar and juicy scrambled egg wrapped around the tater tots, bacon, sour cream, and avocado. The tots were crispy, but not too oily, and the portion of avocado was appropriate for the cost. The roughly chopped bacon was nice and crispy. However, my bf said he hardly got any bacon in his half until the end. My half had an even distribution of it.
Unfortunately, I strongly disliked the red salsa inside of the burrito. It was really bad for me (bf disagreed). I thought it was too salty and slightly sweet. I didn't taste anything else. A better salsa would take this burrito over the top.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mar 29, 2024
Kreuzberg was a great morning stop during my SLO trip! Had a yummy maple latte and breakfast sandwich. The art was super cool and the atmosphere just felt very edgy and industrial. It was "St. Fratty's Day" , as known to Cal Poly SLO students, so it was super wild downtown but definitely very entertaining haha. The service remained very positive though even with all the chaos!

Great drinks and service however they keep putting my drinks in paper and plastic when I ask for here so I'm heading over to scout and nautical coffee instead. Super annoying!

.... No easy to access WiFi - bring your own
.... communal Bathroom situation is weird with the doors always wide open
The good
-The breakfast here is delightful, I'd recommend the classic breakfast and maybe a matcha green tea latte.
-You can't go wrong with any of the coffee or espresso drinks
- the space is award winning - plenty of comfortable seating inside and outside - plants galore
- they even serve beer and wine
- super friendly service and late hours

The coffee is not bad I wouldn't get coffee over the food because I like the food more. It's really hard to hear your name when they call your order especially during busy hours of the day. For being expensive coffee and food I would expect it to taste better. The interior itself really makes up for everything else it's an entire experience inside.

Large footprint store with high ceiling. Lots of sitting available, feels spacious.
Gibraltar was sour (or fruity)
Breakfast sandwich was on the bland side, maybe needing some mayo / spread.
Tip default was set to 25%, even though we do self serve and self busing.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Dec 29, 2023
Ambiance is trendy and got us in the door. After that it went down hill. Its Self service after you order. Utensil station was half empty and took a while to refill.
All of our breakfast items arrived cold. The waffles were soggy and not fully cooked. The red unions in my breakfast sando are raw which I don't like. The tater tots were ok but cold.
The vibes from most of the employees were not welcoming. Codes to use the bathroom are only given out by certain employees and got giggles from the employees when we asked for it. We asked what's so funny? After asking for utensils I got a comment move out of the way so I can get it.
Terrible overall experience...Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 27, 2023
Looking for a breakfast place with good coffee give them a try. Spacious restaurant with lots of places to sit with a lap top including a few little enclosed sitting spaces, lots of outdoor seating.
I was served by a very friendly service person. You order and pay inside at the counter.
I got a vegetarian breakfast sandwich in sour dough toast with avocado.
My sandwich was huge with 3 eggs, arugula, cheese. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. I sat outside and enjoyed my food plus the people watching.
Clean bathrooms, good food, friendly staff.
Seems like a much better choice then so many of the other touristy restaurants in SLOHelpful 0Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0
