This is our first visit. Getting in for an appointment was quick. My son has no enamel on a few of his back baby teeth. One cracked and just two days ago, a piece came out. I chose this office because when we lived in Tampa, the children's dentistry we went to was awesome and I figured this would remind him of being there.

I REALLY wish someone had told me that other children weren't allowed in the exam room because I would've simply taken my other child to daycare (he was only here because he asked to come). That really pissed me off. If my son was here for something simple, I would've rescheduled or even tried our other dentist.

I had to partly pay for sealants which I didn't know so that sucked LOL but he was taken care of and hopefully he doesn't have a bad experience like one of the previous comments. I'll be sure to let you know!

If you would like to call the office directly, the phone number is: 228-273-1691.

After sitting in the lobby for 20 min. I decided to go to the receptionist desk to ask if there were papers I should be filling out (new patient). She informs me that they called me yesterday to cancel. Needless to say they have the wrong number on file for me. The same number I repeated to the person whom set the appointment.

I'd give this place zero stars if possible. Go to Gulf Coast Pediatric Dentistry instead. We waited almost two hours for a cleaning and a orthodontist consult-- which they NEVER scheduled. The stupid receptionist was stuffing her face with food and clicking on pages on her computer when I was furiously asking about the wait time. I'm pretty sure she forgot to log us in for appointment arrival. Then they tried to push unnecessary surgery on my then 3 year old. This place is just nasty all around. Never again.

Absolutely horrible service! My 4 year old had to have a filling replaced that fell out from when they put it in 6 months ago. The filling fell out immediately after inserting it while she was still in the chair, so they had to start over. She had to suffer through the procedure twice because they didn't do it right the first time. I will definitely find a new dentist.

I would not recommend this place, I'm looking for a new dentist for my 3 boys. The dentist Tanika Hale is so Rude. After looking at my young boys teeth ages 2 & 3 she mentioned that I not only had one but i had two terrible kids while i was in the chair with my child in the room with other dental assistants and patients, Only because they were afraid of her. She was able to see their teeth but she had a very ugly attitude about it afterwards. The next day i brought my oldest to get his teeth looked at and she told me to get out and go to the waiting room because my 2 year old was talking. She was so rude about it i can't believe how Kool Smiles would have someone like that to represent them. Just awful .

Really not sure if they deserve one star, I don't either obviously. I am the idiot that thought this would be cool place to bring my kids, well I am sooooo wrong they blow my phone up all day with recordings, send lots of mail and we finally get there and they don't do sealants in all the teeth just select ones really wtf, okay. Employees not friendly at all I think they hate the place as much as me lol... The whole building reeks of piss. And I was told I can't drink my coffee that is in a steel and sealed top cup,, REALLY yep I'm done.... This place is a joke and a nightmare anywhere else in a 3rd world country is better than his place!!!

The dentist, Dr. Hale, is always great with my daughter. However, the billing clerk(s) may need more training. My appointment was at 3pm and my daughter didn't get seen until 5pm because they needed to verify I had insurance and if the insurance would cover my daughter's procedure. Which I found strange since they had billed my insurance previously for my daughter's visit. I decided to call my insurance company to spend up the process and it still took them forever. I'll continue to go because of the dentist but I pray the billing staff gets better.

Been at this place for an hour and haven't been seen yet. Now I understand that it's not her job to help me but I found out that my Delta dental insurance doesn't start until jan 1. So instead of trying to help me save money, I got charged full price of the visit. Being retired military we don't paid a lot of money. She couldn't even get up out of her chair to ask if they could hold off billing me until after the first. A whole what, 9 days.

Waited an hour to be brought back to a room wo wait another 25 minutes to get xrays, another 30 minutes for the dentist to come see me, then she says i need to be scheduled for a peri cleaning which was the reason i was there in the forst place, ok deep breath go to get scheduled and i get told the money i had already paid didnt cover the peri cleaning, even though it was ordered a year ago and i had requested then the wntire amount i would owe and i paid it, i then get told they didnt add that cleaning back then. BS, i am currently looking for a new dentist where i wont loose 2 hours and 45 minutes for a cleaning i DID NOT GET, LOOSING HOURLY WAGES AND THEN GETTING CHARGED FOR IT!!!!!!!

The overall service was pretty decent; however, the staff was unprofessional on more than one occasion. My niece is almost eleven and we pride her on being well educated in matters of the world, and I had to leave giving her a lesson on homophobia over a conversation that started over the color of a toothbrush. She is more than intelligent enough to use context clues to determine the subject being discussed and it actually upset her to hear the things they said. What if I had been a lesbian? What if my niece had been questioning her sexuality, which is actually not determined by the color of your toothbrush?
