Kmart

Decent Kmart up until the last year or so when Kmart's financial issues came to a peak. Last year or so, shelves are often bare of product, no new books, minimal deliveries...which would get frustrating if you would go there to get a certain product.
But, alas, those days are over. The Spanaway location has liquidation (store closing) signs affixed and all items are 10-30% as of today (April 11th, 2017). Au revoir, Kmarche of Spanaway. You served me well from 2012-2015ish.

I hate this Kmart.

Specifically because I find it really irritating to have the Penguin Window people follow me around the store.

And the bathroom is always filthy.

I went in today and waited my entire lunch hour at the customer service desk. The clerk at the counter called for help at least four times and no one came. Finally a manager Pam comes to help. Last week I went in to get some items and I just had surgery, I asked for help out with my 30 pound bag of dog food and the clerks told me they did not even know who to call for this. The service here is terrible.

This place is a joke why is it even still open you can never find any help and when you do the employee can't even give you an answer, then the check out lines, oh my freaking god! You think wal Mart is bad, Jesus Crist you have another thing coming! I just stood in line for 10 min with 5 people in front and 7 people behind me while the one cashier switched registers and bs with the customer!!!! I never moved an inch forward, so I got fed up and walked out. When I went to talk to a manager about it I couldn't even get a response because that line was also ridiculous! So fed up with stores that stay open like this has no costumer service skills and don't even care. This review doesn't even deserve 1 star!

I actually liked this store because there is never a crowd and it is very close to my house! BUT I will probably not go back there again!! I was in a hurry and had just a minutes to stop in before they closed or so I thought!! I walked in and was told they were closed and I had to leave! What?! I said "oh, so you're closing early" to which I got no response!! How rude!!! I knew exactly what I needed and only needed to go grab a bunch of the same item!!
If you want to shop here, go in well before they close!!! But I don't recommend this store to anyone-WalMart is down the street and Amazon sends it to you! Goodbye Kmart!!!

I love shopping at my spanaway kmart the customer service is incredible and all the employees are friendly and willing to help you anyway they will look online and at other stores to find an item they are out of they will even help u out order it on line and ship to your home.

I am totally onboard w/what Tracie F. is saying. I boycott this K-Mart just because of the Penguin Windows issue. I see them coming towards me with their clipboards and I literally run the other way. I wanna tell em "I'll buy your windows, if you shove 'em up your ass!!!!" They get all your personal info. then you get hounded by phone for the rest of your life. They probably sell your info and you get junk mail everyday, too. Penguin Windows=SATAN.

So my last experience here was absolutely terrible. Check out was a joke. I will come here again and it's out of chance i live behind it. If that was not case I would not come here probably. It took 25 min for me to get through the line with only one persons in front of me. If the cash lady was new ok but that was a record for longest wait ever in a check out line. Then as everyone seem to walk around acting like they were doig something not one came over to open another lane. Manager was locking up and saw the line and didn't come over and open alone to help customers get out out. Sorry if it seems mean but I'm just being real

Went for Black Friday. Not a lot of selection for toys. The deals were slim. Service is really lacking there. Cashiers look like they don't want to be there. Can honestly say I won't come back for a long time. This store needs a make over.

I use to always avoid this store just because of the clipboard lady. Either trying to get me to buy new windows, sign up for a kamrt card or enter some contest at the jewelry counter. Store is closed now anyway, havent missed it.
