Q:
Prices? Also do you need a reservation?
A:
Prices are pretty standard for ramen, around $16 per bowl. You don't need a reservation, they accept walk-ins, but I recommend coming early to avoid the rush.

I visited for the first time on a cold Friday for lunch with my 6-year-old. There were maybe 2-3 other diners by the time we finished. Our waitress was nice, though I forget her name. She served us warm tea and gave recommendations for my child. The broth and noodles she recommended was perfect for the 6yo. I enjoyed a veggie broth with their signature dish. I was able to spectate on a Zoom call without interruption. It's not quiet enough for an actual meeting, but if you're just eavesdropping on a meeting, you'll be fine!
Everything came out quickly. I recommend you check it out!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 25978Jan 7, 2024
Was excited to try a new ramen spot as I love ramen but this place just isn't good. Two stars only for being edible and something I would eat only if I was in a bind and starving with no other options available.
Started off with some green tea and they brought me dirty cups with lipstick on them. Moved on to the
House side salad and it was horrific. Took a few bites and stopped because the "pulled chicken" was in actuality canned chicken and it had a mushy texture. I honestly thought it wasn't possible to mess up a side salad. For $9, I expected more. Finally, I got the spicy ramen and I could easily tell the pork was cooked hours prior and refrigerated then thrown back on the grill. Just completely dry. Outside of the spice, the broth didn't have much flavor either. I had to look back at the menu and confirm I didn't order a low sodium ramen or something.
While the ramen was appropriately priced at around $15-$16 a bowl, the rest of their menu is out of wack. $9 for a side salad? $3 for a single soft boiled egg? Bizarre prices for mediocre food.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

It wasn't too busy on a Monday night. Our waitress was very nice and took our orders pretty early, but it did not go through in the system, so we waited 45 minutes for our food. Nevertheless, the food was served warm.
What we ordered:
Garlic Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen: Good! I got it with less sodium, and it was the perfect level of savoriness for me. Usually, I don't like bean sprouts, but the ones in this ramen were soaked with the flavor of the broth--so good.
Chicken Karaage: Very hot and fresh when served. Cannot go wrong with this appetizer.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Came in a weekday for dinner and it was not busy at all. Service was fairly quick and because it wasn't busy, and it was nice of the staff to check up on us whenever they could.
Got a miso ramen but the taste was delicious but at the same time the brother reminded me of it being a tonkatsu broth at the same time. I would recommend getting less sodium because I forgot to opt out for the less sodium option when I thought it was a little bit too salty with regular. My only negative complaint would be how usually at ramen places they generally give you 2 pieces of cha siu instead of one because you are paying for almost $15-16 for a bowl of ramen (when you see on the menu for a majority of the ramens). Second complaint would be how I had a friend who order the roasted pork rice bowl but thought that it felt dry. Definitely did not think there was enough sauce on both the roasted pork and also sauce on the rice, thus making the dish feel dry. Taste was good but texture and "feel" just wasn't.
Also loved the Japanese songs playing throughout the restaurant. All songs are complete bangers!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jan 30, 2024
Listen, this is some seriously tasty Ramen. Came in on a busy Saturday and had to wait about 5 minutes to be seated but nothing too serious. Sat and the waitress explained the menu. We ordered Karaage and the two spicy Ramens. I apologize for not having better pictures because the food was so good we devoured it. The Karaage came out piping hot and so crispy. Seriously sealed in the juicy chicken well. The Spicy ramen was so tasty, the depth of the broth was unmatched! So delicious and satisfying. We will definitely be back!

A solid ramen spot in Wicker Park with reasonable prices, especially for the area. I ordered the Shoyu Ramen, which is a pretty classic soy sauce-based option with pork, egg, and bamboo shoots. The noodles were fresh and chewy, the broth wasn't too salty or dehydrating, and the price was just $13, which I appreciated given that most spots nearby sell comparable bowls for $16+. I wish it came with more pork though-- there was only one super thin slice, and texture was kind of rubbery.
We also ordered Chicken Karaage for the appetizer, which was pretty good-- crispy exterior and tender interior, and the sauce added a nice kick. All in all, it's a solid ramen chain spot with a large variety of bowls that I'd be interested in coming back to try out-- both soup and dry/dipped, hot and cold, with prices ranging from $13 to $16.50. The service is a little slow here, but it's overall just pretty busy.

I ordered the Hakata Tonkostsu Shoyu and replaced the Pork with Tofu which came silken but tasted very lovely. The broth was super rich and miso paste it came with was YUM! We also ordered the veg gyoza, the Spicy Chicken Tan Tan and Chicken Shio all of which tasted really good after a long crowdy day of St. Patrick's parade. Soul food
They were outta eggs tho and we had to ask for water even when seated for 10 mins but i liked the ambiance and the food was good so overall I liked the experience!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 28, 2023
This is a good spot if you love ramen. All three dishes of the night were tasty. They offer low sodium on some plates as well. The restaurant was decorated nicely, giving an authentic Japanese feel accompanied by an Asian jazz-style music. Service was slow, unfortunately, but overall, a solid choice.
