Pros: Staff, food
Cons: Not really much, parking I guess
Details: I stopped in here because I was hungry after the zoo/museum and looked for someplace fairly close by for a late lunch. I walked in and it kind of looked mote like a bar but definitely had BBQ at some tables. I got a mixed plate with a couple items but the highlight for sure was the burnt ends. Some of the best I've ever had. Seriously, get them.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sep 4, 2021
Delicious BBQ and awesome service. I got the pulled pork sandwich with Mac n cheese and traditional sauce. Some of the best BBQ I've had in a while. I love the brick walls, classic bar look, and taxidermy animals lol it has a manly feel, but as a woman I loved it.

This place was interesting. A bit confusing to actually find as it seems to be a dual enterprise along with a bar. The booths are next to the bar and the atmosphere is that of a bar as well. I brought my fiance and mother and it was pretty awkward sitting there hearing vulgar music blasting on the stereo around mid day. F this and N*gga that. Yep. That happened. .anyways..
The food itself was pretty good for the price. We got the platter with several meats and 3 sides. The sides themselves were pretty bland and uninteresting. Especially the potato salad. There is almost no flavor or seasoning in it at all. The coleslaw was equally boring. Beans were okay.
The meat was quite good and the sauces on the side were very tasty! We enjoyed the Bison sausage the best and the chicken was chopped up into bits instead of being an actual portion on the bone.
We also got the 6 wings for $10 and although they too were tasty, we felt like they were over priced. Being Buffalo natives and having a life long experience with authentic Buffalo wings however, may explain our bias towards the wings. Still, for $10 you should get at least 8.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - David K.Louisville, CO4833Sep 20, 2021
They could be a tad quicker on refills, but otherwise it was great.
My wife and i liked the meat plate so much during the week, we came back on the ribs for the weekend.
everything was wonderful, particularly the wings and pulled pork. Still taste good reheated for dinner as well.
I also love the atmosphere and appreciated that they played some classic punk rock, it's great to get away from the modern pop played everywhere else.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 26, 2018
Mediocre at best.
I'm not sure where the amazing reviews come from.
I came on a Tuesday after not wanting to wait in line next door at Mezcal for taco Tuesday (they had a line out the door). I walked in here and there were not many customers; however, their reviews were pretty good.
I first went to the ladies' room and was met with a pool of gross sewer water surrounding the toilet which made it awkward to use the facilities. Nasty. I'm just glad there was soap in one of the two soap dispensers.
I tried to disregard that and sat at the bar for a couple drinks and a meal. Found a secure barstool on my third try. The other two were seriously wobbly and I did not want to have falling due to broken stool as part of my visit experience.
I ordered the "winging it" burger (because I'm a diehard Bob's Burgers fan) and a side of Mac & Cheese. Omg, just no. The pasta was mushy and overcooked. The cheese sauce was gritty. Two bites in and I just couldn't anymore. The wing sauce, blue cheese, and toasted bun were good. The protein (i.e., star of the show) was thin, lack luster and well done. Idk if they only cook well done but no one asked me how I wanted my burger cooked. You should.
As I sat in a pretty empty place doing what I do best (observing), I saw two couples come in and try to order drinks. The staff COMPLETELY ignored them to the point they lost customers. Good job.Helpful 13Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - 390363286Jul 6, 2020
We stopped by on a Friday night in June for an early dinner. The restaurant / bar was practicing safe COVID measures and every other booth was closed off. We shared a 2 meat platter for 2 people and it was the perfect amount for a light dinner. I'm not a huge coleslaw lover but really enjoyed the one here! Definitely recommend the burnt ends and tri tip. It hailed a bit so we were stuck here quite a while and enjoyed some beers.

Came here accidently with a group of friend's while on a weekend trip to Denver. There was most a 2 hour wait for Denver Biscuit Co. Which was a block away & we couldn't wait that long, so luckily we found this place on Yelp that was opening in about 10 mins. This was in October when we visited & luckily it was a nice day to stand outside & wait.
3 of us decided to share a few different meats & stragonoff. Everything tasted pretty good, even the sides. My friend enjoyed their sausages so much, he ordered a few to go for the road. Definitely had a lot of flavor in it as he left it in the car accidently overnight & our whole rental ended up smelling like it lol.
Our servers were nice as we were one of the first customers & it wasn't as busy in there. They even took pics for us.
Not sure about returning, but glad we gave it a try. If you're looking for decent bbq, give this place a try.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Aug 22, 2019
The half rack of ribs were delicious! Tender with a good rub that was not overpowering. They were finger licking good and deserves 5 stars. I liked the Carolina spicy sauce on it and the sauces are house made. What brought it down to 4 stars were the dry corn bread and the bland side of collard greens. We also ordered the kale avocado salad which was standard. Overall we left full and happy!

A friend and I had a lunch here on a decently sunny winter's day, as the Kitchen Table has some limited outdoor dining spots. They have a pretty simple menu with some BBQ plates and sandwich options with a traditional set of sides to choose from. I ordered a 2-meat platter with Burnt Ends and brisket, which comes with 2 sides (I don't really remember which ones I got...which should be telling) and some corn bread. Everything was just OK. Nothing to blow your mind, but nothing that would prevent you from coming back. The portions were decent and the wait staff were nice and friendly and followed all the normal COVID restaurant practices as far as I could tell.
