Dr. Brown is a very caring, knowledgeable, effective, and personable doctor. I come to her for acupuncture services. I recall coming in for a free consultation several years ago to see if we were a good match. I would say that we are as I have been a patient since our first initial get-to-know me meeting. She pays attention to all of my concerns and never made me feel rushed. She answers all of my questions, big or small. She provides guidance and works with information I have from other doctors, treatments I may be on, and calms my worries.

She is very gentle with the needles (most times, I don't feel a thing). She turns on relaxing music, offers a heat lamp, and everything is very quiet. If my appointment is an hour, she is not one minute short. I always leave feeling calm and relaxed. She has also addressed many of my concerns, even after only a small number of visits. I would say I start feeling relief after the first treatment.

I met Dr. Brown for the first time last week, and I found her not only with great bedside manner, but also willing to spend the time to get to hear me and my ailments.

Although I have just started taking the medicine and won't know whether it works for me, I wanted to post my review about the pleasant experience I had meeting her.

I am very grateful to Dr. Brown for helping me feel better. She is experienced in women's health and notices small health problems before they become big ones. My low Iron made me feel so depressed and groggy, I felt tired and was sleeping almost all day. Dr. Brown ordered blood tests and figured out the cause of my problem.

I am also going to Dr. Brown for hormonal women's treatments. I have a great list of supplements I am taking prescribed by Dr. Brown that helped me treat acne and improve health of my ovaries. I recommend Dr. Brown to women and men as she is great consulting about other health issues and helping you improve your health in general.

I went to a number of different types of doctors for 2 years - Eastern, Western and Alternative medicines. Dr. Brown was the one who told me she could cure my migraines. And, she was right. She is helping me work through all health issues as my body works through the lasting effects of years of pain. I cannot say enough about her competence and compassion.

Also, I appreciate that she has kept on schedule. I have not waited for more than a few minutes. Her office has great energy.

Although it's not covered under my insurance, it's a bit irrelevant. I would have paid anything to be cured.

Update of my previous 5 star review of Dr Brown. I am very pleased with Dr Brown, she always has helpful information for me and explains medical issues in a way I can easily understand. Most recently she has helped me with supplements, it's a huge difference when you get the correct supplements for your needs from a Doctor (vs trusting the Internet to tell me.) I would also like to mention the Massage specialist Helena : Helena like Dr Brown is fantastic and has helped me improve my mobility.

She's knows what's up! Currently being treated for adrenal issues and i feel i am in good hands!

I LOVE DR. BROWN! She changed my life! When I was struggling with severe anxiety most Drs wanted to put me on anti-depressants and xanax. Little did I know that my anxiety was caused by menopause. And I can thank Dr. Brown for that. She was able to help me and get it under control with HRT. Dr. Brown is my hero!

Dr Kim knows what she is doing. I love how she takes the time to explain everything to me. I feel like I am in good hands with her and her staff

Dr. Brown has been an important part of my support system in managing my autoimmune disease. She's a great listener and always cares about what is going on with me. She has advised me on dietary changes to get my pain and inflammation under control. Under her care I have transformed from someone who was always limping or aching into a normal human being just living my life. I could not have done it without Dr. Brown's expertise and guidance.

Unfortunately I didn't have the best experience with Dr. Brown. I believe the reason is that she is just not knowledgeable in the speciality/issue I was seeking out. This is totally understandable, as it makes sense that any health practitioner will have their specialities. However, after our phone consultation and even when meeting her for our appointment, I wish she would have been forward with me that she couldn't help me or referred me to someone who can. She even flat out said natural medicine could not help my issue. After further research and talks with another naturopathic doctor it actually can. I left our appointment feeling very discouraged and upset because I really got nothing out of it and essentially paid for a service I didn't get. I was also extremely surprised that some of my general concerns and symptoms she didn't seem very knowledgeable about. I was even more shocked when she said she knew nothing about homeopathy, which is part of the foundation of naturopathic medicine. It almost felt like she was just on the computer the entire time just googling stuff to figure out how to help. I also found it very strange that she didn't do any physical exam of any kind. All her suggestions for helping with my immune system and some symptoms were so general that I feel like anyone with a minimal understanding of natural medicine would know. I asked her what was best for extreme cough and her answer was honey. Honey helps, but you have to do better than this. Lastly, she had me do some labs. I sent them via email and questioned her about the need for a supplement based on the labs. The response back made it clear that she had not even looked over them. All in all I was extremely disappointed.
