Post-Covid I'm developing a love hate relationship with this location...

I LOVE that they are now on the mobile app and I can order pick up and take advantage of the online deals.

I HATE that if you don't go at prime time you are rolling the dice and might get old dried out chicken left over from when the last batch of chicken was cooked. I get off work at 330 PM. I swear to God the last two times I ordered pick up when I left work the chicken had to be sitting out under a warmer for 2+ hours. I won't do that again.

Will I keep going back? Probably. Love the deals and when the chicken is fresh and hot...it's good.

But I will say when they piss me off my visits become further and further inbetween. Kwikstar, Krispy Krunchy Chicken, and Popeyes aren't bad chicken and they aren't that far away.

This place really needs to throw out anything that is 3 hours old. I had the tenders basket. My son and I couldn't swallow it down it was old and hard. The fries you could tell have been sitting there for so long. I would've gotten some better food at McDonald's. I used to work at a KFC and I'm kind of disappointed. This is why people go to fresher places. Don't waste your money here. Sad.

this is my first (and only) meal at KFC CLIVE. worst fries I've ever tasted and at least 2 hours old. Dry chicken and also cooked much earlier than sold. I am very surprised at the poor taste. also seemed expensive for what I got.

2021 pandemic family vacation...Bringing the California strain of COVID 19 to your city.

This KFC is serious when it comes to COVID 19. All their doors are locked.
No customers allowed in the store. If you want food, you have to use the drive thru. Coming from California, I can't blame them for being scared of a customer like me, even though I'm fully vaccinated.

Their chicken is different from all other KFC's that I've been to. Other versions of KFC I've been to in California, Arizona, and other states seem kind of mushy unless I order it extra crispy. But, this locations fried chicken was fried perfectly. Missing were there Colonel's 11 herbs and spices. They might have used 3. It just wasn't as flavorful. I would be a fan of this place if they used just a couple more spices the that Colonel provides.

I have no problem with them shutting down and not letting customers in as it reminds me of some restaurants at home. I just wish the chicken was just a little more flavorful. I would've easily given them 4 stars if they used the Colonel's 11 herbs and spices. You should be COVID safe coming here.

Like most franchises in Iowa this place is backwards of what KFC normally are! They keep the dining area shut so you can't see how dirty this place is and they normally cheat you out of food (This is a regular thing in Iowa)! The food here is worse than any KFC I have ever been to and yet they are still in business because they are near hotels and the highway so they have a never ending supply of new customers to cheat out of their food. This shows you do not need common sense to own a restaurant.

Door by drive thru locked, trying to p/u my order. Some snotty older white guy finally opened the door as he said something snarky to me. I sarcastically thanked him for his customer service and left as he said another rude thing loudly.

You'll spend millions on ads this year when I was already there. And all it would take to get me to come again was to jot be rude.

They have a sign on their door that says you can go inside and place an order, but the doors are locked and they won't let you.

Other KFC's, I can go in and place an order, but if you are walking, you can't; the McDonalds next door will welcome you there, but is t this place does not.

They lie to you before you can even place your order. If you have a trailer, you can't use the drive through, so I guess they don't want people to spend money there.

If I walk over from the hotel, I can't get served; can't use the drive through but their sign lies and say I can.

This place was awful. We ordered a few things and it came out to $50 which seems crazy for KFC.
Plus they forgot to give us the main part of our meal... chicken tenders and sauces so we had to drive all the way back. Will not be coming back again.

Fast friendly service with fresh food! This KFC is completely remodeled. They are following all safety protocols regarding Covid.

My dad loves KFC so I'm always appointed to pick it up and bring it to him. Service is always good, food is always hot and tasty. no complaints on my numerous drive throughs.
