She waxed my brows and upper lip. The place was clean, she seemed friendly and knowledgeable at first. She used two different waxes on my lip to get the stubborn hairs. Unfortunately, she pulled some skin by my lip with the last type of wax. She failed to mention it to me, acted like it didn't happen. I didn't realize it until I went out to my car and looked in the mirror. I would think an esthetician would know if they removed some skin, and an honest person would tell their customer. Maybe she really didn't notice. Either way it's alarming, and I will not return to her and didn't bother to contact her. This was a week before my wedding so I'm glad it was only the top layer of skin and not worse or it could have been terrible!

And in response to the owners reply: Yes, I did go to you, but I choose to use an alias on Yelp. But I have updated to my real name now. Thanks for assuming I am confused and would review the wrong business.

I got NovaLash eyelash extensions here this morning after buying a Groupon for half off and making an appointment.

Keyla was professional and courteous. She has a room in the back of the Nails R Us nail salon. She was waiting at the front desk for me when I arrived. The room is tiny, but really you don't need anything more than she has. A desk, her chair and tools, and a nice comfy reclining spa chair for you to relax in. It's cute.

She pulled up photos on her phone of her work to show me and to gauge how long and dense I wanted my lashes to be. I opted for a lighter look since I don't wear a full face of makeup everyday, I have thin lashes, and I didn't want to look like I was about to perform on stage somewhere, lol.

The NovaLash certificate on the wall says she's been certified since January. I think my lashes look good, but I have nothing to compare it to since it was my very first time. I can tell they aren't mine, but I doubt anyone else can without staring at my lash line from an inch away. She attached the lashes 1-to-1. It took an hour and 45 minutes. I'm happy with them!

Minus one star for the hard sell of the special lash cleaner at the end. (Hard = My first "NO" was not accepted and I ended up buying it even though I didn't want it).

When I lived in Omaha, NE for 2.5 years from April 2013-August 2015. I came to Keyla every 2-3 weeks for my lashes religiously! She's the best in the entire city and she will make every effort to make you feel pretty on any day or occassion. Her time is your time and the money you pay her is definitiely worth it, I miss you Keyla! I found a great one out here in CA but nothing will be ever be the same with the quality of yuor Novalash Lash Extensions. Make sure you book with her promptly and also make sure that you tip her well because she does an absolutely amazing and fantastic job. If you don't feel that then you are fool or you don't have the right beautiful keyla sanchez.

Super comfy environment, she also played really calming music and The medium lashes only ran me $200 overall super happy!!

I should have had $59 credit
and then I was allergic to the extensions and had to have
them removed and she charged me $25 to remove them???
Also she rescheduled my appts 3 times
